Came to Isla & Co after hearing nonstop hype about their Australian brunch and showed up READY. The place is insanely aesthetic -- plants, light, vibes fully vibing. Service was quick and on point, but don't even think about walking in... reservations are basically law. The matcha latte was aggressively mid, which felt illegal for a brunch spot. We'll forgive but won't forget. Now the espresso martini flight?? Stunning. Gorgeous. Dangerous. Every flavor was unique and suddenly it was no longer brunch, it was a lifestyle. Food review time: I usually keep my expectations low for breakfast burritos at non-burrito-focused brunch spots, and unfortunately this one proved me right -- very mid. HOWEVER the fries were elite. Our server casually mentioned they use chicken salt and next thing you know we're ordering it on Amazon mid-meal. The real star was the vodka rigatoni with shrimp -- creamy, comforting, breadcrumbs on top (as God intended). Absolute main character energy.

Came in to try the kangaroo skewers and it did not disappoint. Happened to dine in during happy hour and we got to try some yummy espresso martinis. Whipped feta app is a must try, super refreshing and paired perfect with the focaccia. They did charge us the calamari appetizer with regular pricing instead of happy hour price which was $2 less but that didnt bother us since we weren't there for happy hour anyway. Might want to double check the prices on your check if you're anal about that sort of thing. Service was great and food was even better. Cant wait to come back.

My boyfriend and I went to Isla & Co on Friday night for the first time and really enjoyed our dinner! We started out with a drink - quick note, I looked for any sort of mocktail / non alcoholic wine and they didn't have anything in that realm. Ambiance was cozy, but it is more of a large room set up, so not as cozy as it could be with more dividers. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. I definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're in the area.

Finally made it to the Williamsburg location and finally tried the espresso martini flight after seeing people order them in Manhattan. Conveniently located to the rooftop bar we were going to next door after. So many gluten free and vegetarian options! The server and the bartender were helpful, attentive and friendly. Party of 3, Friday night, reserved ahead of time. Lovely space with high ceilings and nice holiday decor. I want to come back again in the warmer months for outdoor seating. We shared a signature espresso flight and all three drinks were so delicious! (Olive Temptation, Scarlett Rose, Coco Devine). We also shared all our food and each dish was gluten free. I love fish and chips and usually can't order them! Their version is gluten free and still SO GOOD. We upgraded the plain fries to truffle fries. Yum. In addition to the fish and chips we shared spicy chicken wings and Isla's Power Bowl (with added grilled chicken). Definitely want to come back!

Food: 3/5 |Service: 3.5/5 | Experience: 4/5 I made a reservation for 2 for brunch, and we were seated immediately. The space has high ceilings and great light. Service was slower than expected. I got the smashed avocado toast with bacon which took a bit of time to come out. It is a beautiful presentation of food. However, I found the toast itself merely ok, especially for the price. The portion of avocado was great, but the consistency was more baby food than even guacamole or just smashed avocado. The bread was also way too crunchy for my liking. I couldn't even cut it, much less eat it properly. Overall, my experience was ok.

I looooove isla and co. It has genuinely become one of my favorite brunch spots in Williamsburg. Not just because of the amazing and cheerful service but also because of the delicious food. Every time I visit i have an incredible meal. I highly recommend the Sandos. The fried fish is my fav. This time around i also had the orecchiette which wasn't too lemony but had a great flavor. The coffee and tea are always delicious. Usually get the matcha and and a latte - they have Nutella syrup! The cafe is so incredibly cute and well lit. Please check this spot out! So good for the price too.

This gem tucked over on the furthest side of Williamsburg is worth the trek. As a hungry girl, every morsel of food was devoured. Music was on point. My server was sweet and stylish as hell! The food tho! I mean...savory. Didn't get to chow down on a full meal, but every dish that came out left me trying not to order more than I could handle. Honestly...I can't wait to return and stuff my belly!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a group of friends, and this place checked all the boxes. Delicious food, great drinks, nice atmosphere, efficient and friendly servers! If you like a good espresso martini, this is the place for you. They have a wide variety of different espresso martinis as well as an espresso martini flight. The flight was perfect and let us try three of their best espresso martinis. The Coco Devine was the best with that chocolatey flavor blended in. Hands down would order that one again. Their food is incredible - they make one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Never have I had broccoli on a chicken sandwich, but somehow - mixed with the pesto and cheese - it works perfectly. Combine that with the juicy chicken, and you have a winning sandwich. It wasn't that busy when we came, but we made reservations just in case as we were a larger group - definitely recommend. Whether you're looking for somewhere to eat solo, on a date, or in a group, I'd definitely recommend stopping by to grab some food or a drink.

Stopped in for brunch. Food arrived very quickly and the service was pleasant. You can pay at the table via QR code when you are finished. Wasn't very busy at 1030am on a Saturday. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese bun. There was so much egg it was spilling all over but still tasted good. Fries were decent. Husband ordered the pulled pork hash and he enjoyed. This seems more like the type of place you would want to grab a drink and dinner vs brunch.

Went here for Saturday brunch. It was busy but not super crowded. The vibe was great. They have ample seating for big groups too. The espresso martinis were really great. They have a flight as well with 3 martinis but those are much smaller. The waiter said the flight of 3 martinis is equal to 1 regular martini I got the sambal scramble which was ok but felt like there was more toast than scramble which wasn't what I was expecting. Overall would go back for vibes but not the food

Came here for my sister's birthday, and was so impressed by the food! The ambiance is nice for a relaxing dinner, and it wasn't too busy on the weekday. We ordered the kangaroo appetizer, and it was flavorful and juicy. The accompanying cucumber salad was a refreshing pairing. For the main course, we ordered the fish and chips and charred octopus. The octopus was a standout meal - it was incredibly tender, and cut like butter. It was a bit salty, but paired perfectly with the creamy beans. Also, PLEASE ASK for the hot sauce - its house made, and absolutely phenomenal‼ Would love to come back to try their famed espresso martinis!

What a fun menu! They have patio and indoor. The patio is super cute especially with the lights for the Fall nights. The place itself reminds me a bit of Ruby's except it has Kangaroo here. The kangaroo texture is a bit different- more rough? I can't put my finger on what exactly makes the taste different but I will say that the tahini and stuff under it almost covers up the kangaroo taste. I got the Morning After burger which had kimchi aioli to make it a bit special. This created a sour type of spice in my mouth which was good. Too bad the burger was a bit on the smaller side. They gave a hefty amount of fries but the fries weren't that good imo. The lamb ragu was good but I think if they switched the type of pasta, the texture would complement the texture of the braised meat even more. Our three items was decently filling for two people.

Chai Latte
Joanna M.

Just another solid brunch place, no complaints. My partner and I decided to sit outside and a friendly waitress with an Australian accent seated us and placed our orders. Since it was a little cooler outside than we expected, we opted for a hot latte and chai latte. For food, we ordered the oysters, kangaroo tucker, brekkie roll, and smoked salmon benedict. Taste-wise the entrees were pretty standard but were executed well, the brekkie roll was big, flavorful, and juicy and the smoked salmon benedict had the perfect poached eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce. Couldn't complain about the oysters either. But the kangaroo tucker was disappointing because it was dry and chewy even though the flavors were there. The drinks we got to wash everything down were very good, especially the chai latte. Ambiance-wise, while the greenery outside is nice, it is not without the occasional bugs circling around your food. It would've been smarter to sit inside as the vibe is just as nice with the natural lighting from outside streaming in from the windows coupled with the relaxing white and beige interior. Regardless of where you sit, it's still a good vibe. Service was really friendly and our waitress checked in with us throughout our meal and made sure we always had enough water. Overall, I would recommend Isla and Co for a casual brunch date. I just wouldn't get the kangaroo again.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped.
