I had a 3 year lease on a 2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe which was soon coming to an end. I visited Crevier BMW to look at the new 6 Series 4 Door Coupe. The sales pitch went something like this "call me when you are interested." I'm not sure why someone would visit a car dealer if they weren't ready to buy a car. To me, that would be like visiting your dentist because you thought you may need a root canal, but weren't ready. So I visited Irvine BMW the next day. I met Paul Bailey, Internet Sales Manager, and he told me that the great thing about BMW is that many customers like to order cars. BMW provides a vast number of options, to personalize the experience. (The only option I could get on the E550 at the time was the lane departure warning) The timing was perfect. We went through all of the options and I placed the order. Paul called me the next week to tell me the White Ash wood trim was discontinued, but they were able to override on my order and get it done. I tracked the "build" on the BMW site every few weeks and called when the car was en route to the dealer. They had the paperwork ready to go. Irvine BMW gave me more than the payoff amount on the E550 Coupe, which still had three payments left! I received a nice discount off of sticker on a brand new model, plus a nice trade in value, and the 640 was waiting for me, ready to go, right in front of the showroom. The best part is that when I arrived, everything was pretty much done. If you think of this from the dealer perspective, they are doing a high level legal transaction with a lot of money on the line, yet they know you don't want to be there all day. From my point of view, I know it is a large transaction, and I don't want to be there at all! I think two hours is pretty quick, considering all of the details involved. Irvine BMW has a new car delivery guy. That's all he does. He walked me through all of the features, helped transfer my remotes, transponders and so forth to the new car. When my plates arrive in the mail in a few weeks, they are going to install them (including the front plate, which thanks to the State of CA requires someone to puncture a perfectly beautiful front bumper skin). At that time the same new car delivery guy will make sure I learned how everything works and the things setup according to my preferences (I've decided to install an iPod in the glove box rather than download everything) also are working well and am okay with my choices. The dealership is modern and clean with nice waiting areas, without being a museum. I don't think they have an espresso guy or a putting green, which leads me to believe they are more set up to get to the deal without taking all day, finding ways to keep you entertained, and justifying a higher margin. On February 25, 2014, I purchased a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 2011 328i Series BMW from this dealership. I believed I had a good relationship with Irvine BMW because of past experiences with them in taking care of my 2003 BMW. My purchased car has been at Irvine BMW since April 12, 2014 because the ROTORS WERE RUSTED and the dealer was to put on the side seat rail which was broken. After waiting for over FIVE days for someone from Service to contact me about the status of my car, I finally made the call and was told the car was not ready and that "no one wanted TO PAY FOR THE RUSTY ROTORS. Not only were the ROTORS RUSTED, but the report from the dealer stated that the power steering fluid was dirty/discolored and the coolant was found to be in poor condition or contaminated. IS THIS HOW A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VEHICLE IS DELIVERED TO A CLIENT? On April 21, 2014, I got an email from a sales adviser which stated the car was ready for pickup. After reviewing the pdf attachment, I realized it was "DECLINED TO REPLACE THE RUSTED ROTORS, BRAKE PADS AND HUBS. I have tried repeatedly to contact Brandon and Howie the General Managers there, about this situation but have received no return calls. THE NEXT STEP, I contacted BMW corporate headquarters and REPORTED the situation about the RUSTY ROTORS and they are now doing an investigation into the UNWILLINGNESS of Irvine BMW to replace the rusted rotors. All I wanted was reliable transportation, what I was promised from Irvine was a Certified Pre-Owned BMW, certified by the Dealer I brought it from, but this was not the case! What I got was a certified pre-owned vehicle which had been certified by another dealer almost one year ago (certified in May of 2013) filled with dirty fluids. I am so disappointed in Irvine BMW. And today, April 23, I now wait on BMW corporate office to finish the investigation and let me know. FUNNY HOW I have received emails from Irvine BMW telling me that the rust I have on the rotors is VERY COMMON AND DOES NOT AFFECT THE WORKING OF THE BRAKES. Are they 100% sure when I am driving my grandchildren in the car with rusty rotors that we will be safe? WHO TREATS CLIENTS LIKE THIS? Shame on you Irvine BMW. read more

I was humiliated trying to lease my wife an X2. Your sales manager interrupted my salesman and asked what I can pay per month. When I asked about money factor etc he walked away. He didnt want to upset me by reminding me Im not truly Irvine BMW material. Im utterly humiliated because im not financially capable of paying more than I should. It just hurts me too much and causes anxiety and emotional distress. He said If I cant afford the X2's 550 plus payments then I should look at the 320i. He didnt want to negotiate with me and cause me more humiliation for my peasantly budget and I respect and thank him for that. Hes absolutely right! I cannot afford to pay 550+ for the hot new X2 and ill tell you why. My reason being because it would affect the feeding of my investments and cause me sleepless nights of circling about the opportunity cost. So unfortunately I was forced to lease the same X2 from another dealer 39k msrp for only 385/mo including tax, 2300 down, Including maintenance pack. Im utterly humiliated in front of all of Yelp! Now everyone knows I dont throw money in the air like a seasoned Irvine BMW customer. I also couldnt afford to buy the THREE Recent cars I owned (All BMW M models) from Irvine either. I am not yet to that point in my life where I can just blow money for no reason whatsover. I aspire to one day be able to come in and pretend I never learned basic elementary grade math and just write a check like a big boss. I appreciate your undertanding as I work tirelessly to achieve that milestone in life. I am also sorry that Im young and not worthy of your service or respect. Im working on aging and its coming along exactly on time! I will update you as soon as I finally graduate to Irvine BMW stature. Thank you for your patience. I was just bored at home last week and just want to have some fun and I thought of submitting an application to IRVINE BMW. It was ANDREW EINHORN who called me and told me that my credit is workable and that he will help me getting a car from them. I told him, I was hesitant, because my credit history is not good yet and I'm still paying my student loan. However, last Friday morning, he called me and informed me that he was able to get me approved for a BMW and I was shocked, because I was expecting him to turn me down. It was such a surprised for me to hear him saying that it's all done and all I have to is to drive there and signed the papers. He really went above and beyond my expectation and he is such a good example of a person with a great customer service skills. I drove to IRVINE BMW (didn't mind the traffic) with my family, signed the papers and put a little down payment and drove the car home. I felt like it was a big blessing after being sick for a while. On top of those, he called me the next day and I thought the bank changed their mind and I have to return the car. It turned out, that he was able to finance the car through In-house finance by BMW and they will make the first 2 payments on the car. How great is that for someone like me who was so afraid to buy a car and was able to get one over the phone. ANDREW EINHORN is the man with no bullshit at all but business. He knows what the customers need and knows what he's doing. I've been to different car dealers and they always draw me a four box on a paper which make me walk out of the dealer all the time, because I know it is some bullshit and only in-favors of the commission for the sales agent. But, with ANDREW, he knows what to do and I really appreciate the assistance that he did for me to get a car, and I can give him a 10 stars, if I can. I never thought I would have anything bad to say about this dealership. My family and I have been leasing cars from them for 10 years. Ever since AJ left BMW and moved to irvine Mini the service department has turned into complete garbage. First, let me start by saying that I always referred everyone to Irvine BMW including my boss. For me to write them a negative review means they had one too many chances to redeem themselves. I made a 10:30 am appt online on my day off and was told by Brenda it would take 45 min and I wouldn't need a loaner car. Once I got there, my service rep I think Jason? Told me that it was false information and if he could read the email (which I showed him). He then said one of the parts had a recall so it would take a couple of hours so he'd give me a loaner car. Once I get to the loaner department, I realized all I had on me was my expired license. Therefore, the RUDE attendant in the loaner department told me he couldn't give me a car. We then asked for my car back since I had more errands to run and couldn't be stuck there for hours. I was told ok no problem car will be right up. 20 min go by, 30 min go by, NO SIGN OF MY CAR. I go inside and tell Jason what's going on and he acts shocked and says let me go see what the hold up is. He then tells me they can't locate my car!! So I've been at the dealership over an hour now, no service has been done and now they can't find my car? To top it off, another 10 min go by and I see all the service guys running around like maniacs. They then tell me that they have LOST MY KEY!! Upon verbalizing how pissed I was about there incompetence, all I got in return was major attitude. They had the audacity to act as if I was the jerk here! Like they hadn't just wasted my day, made me miss a doctors appointment and lost my property. Also, let me add that in my 2 hours of waiting for them to find my car, I witnessed 2 other customers in the service department PISSED AND ANNOYED at how unorganized and unhelpful everyone was! read more

Recently, I had my rear tires replaced at your service center. Since then, my car's driving experience has noticeably deteriorated. Here's a summary of the issues I've encountered and the steps taken to address them: 1. **Post-Replacement Issues**: Immediately after the rear tire replacement, I noticed that the drive was extremely bumpy and uneven. 2. **First Return Visit**: When I reported the issue, I was informed that it was due to not having an alignment service. I subsequently had the alignment done, which slightly improved the driving experience but resulted in the steering wheel being off-center, pulling to the left. 3. **Second Return Visit**: I returned the car again, requesting that a technician accompany me on a drive to observe the problem firsthand. The technician acknowledged the issue and assured me it would be fixed. 4. **Current Problem**: Before the latest service was completed, I received a call from a technician informing me that the uneven drive was due to a damaged wheel. He mentioned efforts to rectify this issue, but upon receiving my car, I find the problem persists. The wheel damage explanation does not seem plausible to me as the wheel was already damaged prior to the tire replacement, and I had no issues with the driving experience then. The car was always smooth and stable, a hallmark of BMW vehicles. Despite the team's politeness and efforts to resolve the issue, I am now at a point where I feel disheartened and uncertain about the ability of your service team to effectively resolve this problem. I am currently facing significant inconvenience, and my driving experience continues to be subpar. I went to a couple different BMW dealerships in the Orange County area but after going to Irvine BMW and meeting Jason DeMond, I didn't need to go anywhere else. My boyfriend had leased BMW's for years, and this was going to be my first! Jason was very upfront with us from the beginning, he really wanted my boyfriend and I to find the perfect car and at the right price. Being originally from the east coast, we appreciated Jason being straightforward and real with us, never hesitating to go over the math and the percentages when we had questions regarding the costs. From the moment we pulled into Irvine BMW, to the time I drove off with my 2013 BMW 135i, he was always available for us and knowledgeable about any questions we had. The process of finding the 2013 bmw 1-series with a convertible top, in white, with oyster leather interior and having the specs and features I wanted, was only made possible by Jason. Over a period of few days, in which my boyfriend and I had a couple of big decisions to make, we were constantly texting and meeting with Jason. Seriously, at the end of the deal it felt like we had been good friends for years! After doing some research on our own we realized we would never find a better deal than what he was offering, so we finalized! Jason had found my dream car up in LA and it was as simple as a day or two to transport it to Irvine. My car arrived on the Monday and even though it was Jason's day off, he came in anyways so I could take my car home right away! Everything was perfect and after taking my new car home, if i found I had a question (as this was my first BMW), it was as simple as sending him a text and he would send me an answer back. As a customer who values transparency, efficiency, and professionalism, I am shocked at the complete lack of these qualities during my interactions with this dealership. I brought my car in for service, and they promised it would be ready the next day. Not only was it not ready as promised, but they then tried to offer me an electric loaner car with a mere 10-mile range - an insult to any customer, especially considering the distance I had to travel. It's hard to understand how a prestigious dealership could leave their customers stranded like this. Adding to my frustration, I discovered that the $200 service contract I signed for all my oil changes and services was not honored. Instead, they charged me a whopping $400 for an oil change, claiming ignorance about my service contract. This utter lack of communication and organization between their staff is unacceptable and has cost me significant time, money, and aggravation. To top it all off, when I finally received my car back, it had not been vacuumed or washed - a standard service offered by nearly every dealership. Yet, when I raised the issue, they simply denied that they provide this service anymore, which I know to be untrue. In conclusion, my experience at Irvine BMW was nothing short of a nightmare, and I will certainly not be returning. Furthermore, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable service provider.
