They have some of the best pizza I've had in a very long time! Unfortunately I live in Pennsylvania, so I don't get it often. It's kind of a hidden gem because it's inside of a bar/lounge. The staff is very nice and you don't have to wait too long for a pizza. We're actually heading to Ohio later this afternoon to visit family and that's where we're stopping for dinner. The crust has a nice crunch to it and it's soft on the inside. It's not too thick either, it's a perfect balance of crust and toppings. Felix's pizza inside Iroquois Lounge is amazing to say the least. An old world recipe reincarnated!! Iroquois Lounge is also one of the cleanest and well kept establishments around. Great local dive bar vibe. Expect some banter with your beer, but why else would you be here if not to experience the local culture. Decent selection of craft beer bottles, and great pizza. Patrons were all friendly, seemed like a mix of locals and seasonal people. Will definitely be back. read more

The Iroquois Lounge has excellent food in a neighborhood bar setting. Located in the Ashtabula Historic District, the Iroquois Lounge is a great place to stop to grab a good serving of bar food. I had a 1/2 pound burger with a serving of fries and thoroughly enjoyed them. The 1/2 pound burger is made of black angus beef and you can taste the difference. Unlike other bars in Ashtabula, the Iroquois Lounge enforces the new non-smoking law in Ohio, making it a pleasant place to eat without smoke blowing in your face. I've heard through the grapevine that the kitchen is immaculate. This is from many sources. A down home bar with great food, the Iroquois Lounge is a great place to eat in Ashtabula. I was stopping through town and a friend told me to stop by the Iroquois and try the wings. I'm not always the biggest fan of chicken wings, but I'll have to say that these were excellent. The owner said he purchases them fresh, not frozen. They are a great size, cooked perfectly, and have a good sauce selection. I would recommend the hot oriental - delicious. Phenomenal Felix Pizza! If you're hungry on a Thursday-Sunday, stop in for their delicious Felix pizza. We stopped in after a game one summer evening and ordered a pepperoni pizza. I was blown away- how can this little neighborhood bar hide such wonderfulness? The dough and sauce just aren't homemade- they are made daily, and such QUALITY! I don't know what is better- the crust, the sauce, or the cheese. Soooooo much better than any chain restaurant. I'm not kidding, this is truly the best pizza I've ever had. We started going every week, and ordered one to eat there and one to take home. Just can't rave enough over how great it is! read more

I have always been a fan of the Iroquois. It's a cool, consistent, grungy dive that has been a Bridge Street staple for nearly a century. Which is why I gave three stars. However, my last visit was unpleasant to say the least, and zero star worthy. After relocating to Denver and bringing my girlfriend in to one of my favorite hometown bars, I was met with some extremely unprofessional service. While ordering a drink, I also asked if I could buy two of the awesome t-shirts they had for sale hanging all around the bar. The bartender (who I later found out to be the owner) snapped at me and said "BEER OR LIQUOR ONLY. NEVER ASK ME THAT QUESTION AGAIN. ASK THE BLONDE" and gestured to the other bartender as he got my Christmas Ale. I ended up asking the other bartender (I really loved these shirts) and she nicely explained that the shirts were in the garage and she would be happy to get them for us if we came back tomorrow morning. No worries here, I appreciated her honesty and how friendly she was. The nightmare continued however when I went to close my tab. The nice woman's side was completely packed so I walked over to the other side (clearly there was much more room on his side considering how unpleasant he was to not only me but all of the other patrons there.) I asked to close my girlfriends tab, told him the name and he started yelling it back at me, butchering the pronunciation and asking me if I meant another name. I calmly explained "no" and said her name once again. He went to the cards with open tabs, shuffled them around and yelled that it wasn't there. I stated I could see it on the other side of the bar (five steps away) and he screamed at me that that wasn't his problem and to ask the other bartender. Really blown away at this grown man's behavior and if he is in fact the owner, will no longer be giving the bar my business. read more

Wings Wing Wings - if you get anything to eat here eat the wings and the Apple Jello Shots. We had the Teriyaki and Parmesan Garlic Wings here and they were cooked perfectly and the sauces were great too. I love that the chickens seem to be sooo much bigger here than in California...don't know what that is but it may be in the water....lololol...no lake jokes here... I think I was told that the Apple Jello Shots were a secret recipe and they are rippin good and I could have just kept slurping them up instead of having a drink to my head and that would have been just fine.... read more
