I toured Ironworks a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend while looking for an apartment complex to move into. Once we arrived for the tour, they clearly were not prepared for the appointment but we shrugged it off because they had just officially opened that week. The amenities and main clubhouse are beautiful! It wasn't fully furnished or finished, but everything we saw seemed really great. Once we started walking through the hallways, the aesthetic overall didn't really align with what we saw in the clubhouse, but again, we shrugged it off because the unit itself was pretty impressive. After the tour, Ironworks was high on the list because of a laundry list of advantages: it felt pretty secluded but the location is really great, it's pretty quiet, close to I-25/I-70 corridor, would be in a totally new unit, the views of the city were beautiful, the list goes on. However, the follow-up communication received from Ironworks after the tour became confusing, abrasive, and seemingly motivated by a need to meet a signing quota, which really turned us off. Management and staff don't seem to be well trained in customer service, or even in communication delivery for that matter. I've lived in a ton of apartments previously and I've never witnessed such a disorganized team with such poor communication skills. The most shocking point of communication was when I was told on a phone call that me not having a decision 2 weeks post-tour was "ridiculous" after we were told an application fee was all that was needed to secure the unit for 60 days. Furthermore, even after telling them I would not be signing a lease with them, I was still receiving invoice emails from Danielle requesting I pay a security deposit on a unit that I didn't even sign a lease on. Thankfully my 3rd party apartment locator resolved this issue with IronWork's shady management team-- & even then, Danielle/management didn't even have the decency to send an apology email or phone call. It's sad to see Ironworks's beautiful potential be wasted away by another poor management team in Denver. I'm very happy they made their intentions & low-quality management style clear before a lease was signed as we were ignoring some red flags throughout the process. read more
