Nice building that is well maintained and in a good location. Neighbor walls are thick, but ceilings are so thin you can hear footsteps and even conversations from above. Somehow I could almost never hear my old above neighbor, but the most recent one makes noise 9/10 of the time I'm here. I would most definitely not recommend living here unless you were on the top floor. Either they need to install carpet in bedrooms or cut cost for non top floor rooms. Update: moved to top floor and now issues with noise below me. Good location, but the walls are paper-thin. A new neighbor moved into the unit below me, and I haven't been able to sleep for weeks due to loud TV audio, often blasting until 5 AM. Despite multiple complaints, the leasing office and security team have done nothing to address the issue. When I called security, no one responded for over two hours. The leasing office even insisted the tenant had been there since August, yet I personally saw them moving in just weeks ago. It's nearly 3 AM as I write this, and the noise continues. If you value peace and sleep, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere in Denver. read more

I've been at The Casey just over a month now and I have to say I have enjoyed it so far. Jamie was really helpful answering any questions I had before moving in and Caitlin has been great with post move in questions. I haven't had any issues with packages being left out in the open like I have experienced in other complex's as they have 3 package lockers and a separate package room in the leasing office. The windows and side walls do a good job of blocking out noise but as others have started you will hear foot steps from the people above you. While its been great so far there are a couple of things I would call out. 1. The trains are pretty loud and go 24/7 so you will hear train breaks squeaking and horns at night. 2. The hall way carpets are pretty nasty. 3. I also didn't have a move in inspection or see one posted for me in my portal so I thought that was a little odd. Overall I would recommend The Casey as no apartment building is going to be perfect. read more

Do not move here! So many complaints in such a short time: -We moved cross country and the unit wasn't ready on the agreed move in day; it was filthy and it wasn't the unit we virtually toured either. The agent told us "they are all the same." -My car was broken into while parked in the lot. The agent was annoyed that we kept following up on her promise that she would check the security footage. Several other cars were broken into and when another tenant requested the footage for the police report it was admitted that there is no security tape! -The fire alarm randomly goes off at all times at least 7 times that I was home for. -Key fob needed to get into the building has broken half a dozen times. -Pool and hot tub are filthy and often broken. -There was dog poop, dog hair and beer bottles on the stairs for months, repeated requests to have it cleaned were ignored. The gym is always out of sanitizing wipes and there was a shattered mirror with shards of glass on the floor for over a month. -The dog area is regularly littered with broken glass, debri and even SYRINGES and DRUGS. The requests to get this cleaned are ignored. -Homeless regularly hang out in the back parking area and block exits. -Often receive bogus charges on our rent that take weeks to resolve. -Before moving we bought renters insurance. Months later we noticed that we were being charged for insurance. When objecting to this we were told to just ignore the error. For months we were still charged for the policy and told to just ignore the error. -I have a new service dog, once agent Tallia saw the service dog she told us we have 72 hours to pay a $500 pet deposit. I responded that he is a service dog which we'd previously filled out paperwork for. She insisted that we get a doctors note and specify disability. I informed her that this is ILLEGAL. She responded hours later with the same ILLEGAL forms and I again had to inform her of my legal protections. Since then Tallia and others have been rude and hostile towards us. This includes Chris the manager recording our door while our dog barked. He is trained to bark when someone is at the door. -When taking the virtual tour I informed the agent that I work as a trainer from home. She informed me that I can bring one person at a time to the gym. When signing the paperwork I again confirmed I would be working from home and was assured that dozens operate their businesses from home. 9 MONTHS after moving in, I was told it violates the lease to operate business from home and we cannot regularly bring in guests, even though: A-they've publicly advertised for other trainers to come to the Casey B-others regularly conduct business from the common areas in front of leasing agents C-residents regularly bring guests to parties at the pool and outdoor areas. -There is a bug problem in the building that is ignored. All over the hallway, stairs and my unit. Maintenance requests are ignored. -You can hear everything in other units above, below and next to you. read more

The staff and maintenance are responsive and very helpful in all circumstances, the complex is clean and well maintained, the units are spacious and my specific unit looked almost brand new when moving in (this is a 6-7 year old building), and there are not too many sounds coming from other units, a big plus. DO Not Move HERE. By far the worst renting experience of my life. I'd give them negative stars if it was possible. When we first moved to The Casey several years ago the management and staff were great. After they left, the place started falling apart. The management at The Casey is a Joke. Especially Chris Dublin. Chris is a incompetent, pretentious, snake in the grass manager and worst of all he has little man syndrome. Chris's failure to manage the place made it a uncomfortable place to live for my girlfriend and myself. First our car had been broken into several times resulting in thousands in damages. I went to the office asking for the video and was told I had to have a police report to get the footage. So, I got a police report only, to find out The Casey cameras don't work and never worked over the 5 years we lived there. I paid $1500 in deductibles because of the damage done to my car in The Casey parking garage. Half the time the garage doors are broken or the side doors are left open. This resulted in my premium going up substantially. I had to find new insurance. The last time they broke my driver side door locking mechanism and tore the dash apart trying to steal it. Last Super Bowl Sunday we arrived home to find someone in our parking spot so, we parked in the the future guess parking spot. We didn't want to towe their car because we know it's expensive and was hoping they'd be gone later. When we came back down to hopefully move our car into our parking spot, our car was gone. The previous manager had told us to park there if someone was in our spot. Especially because parking is hard to find on the street and with the crime in the area, I didn't want to risk it. We went to talk to the manager Chris who was amiiditally annoyed and combative. He raised his voice and finger at my girlfriend. Then we had words. I believe he had our car towed out of spite because of previous disagreements. Other residents got warnings via email to move their car before they were towed. We did not receive such courtesy. The towe costed us another $300 plus, half a day. Chris was nothing but rude and combative in the situation. He said they had been talking about us because we seem unhappy there. Yeah, we were unhappy there and would have left much earlier if it wasn't for the cost of moving and the need to be near union station for work. Besides, the car issues. The dog run out back is poorly maintained. It's often dirty filled with poop, drug paraphernalia. Our puppy got marijuana posing from the marijuana roaches that people discard in that area. Costing us another $900 in vet bills. We had complained multiple times about the state of the dog run. With the massive homeless encampment's behind the Casey on Wewatta, I'd find heroine needles in the dog run along with drugs. We stopped taking our dogs in their because of the incompetence of The Casey's ability to clean it. Unfortunately even the grounds around the building you'd have to dodge drug needles to walk your dogs. That's no fault of The Casey however. The pool is supposedly year round but poorly maintained especially in the winter. The pool had to be closed many times because of dog poop in the pool. We got ants in our apartment because they replaced the soil in the planter outside our windows. We contacted the manager right away and she had left her corporate card at home and told us sorry but we had to wait till the fallowing day. I stayed home from work waiting on pest control who never showed up. They did show up the fallowing day and sprayed the planters. The ants still showed up again because the there is a large gap between the wall and the floor boards. That night we had ants all the way in our bedroom. So, we ended up cocking the gap between the floor boards and wall ourselves. I placed ant traps in the planters myself. The fallowing summer the ants were back and we contacted Chris and he did nothing about it. So, we made our own natural ant killer because of our dogs and re cocked the gap between the floorboards and wall. Just a horrible overall experience. You should feel comfortable where you live and terrible anxiety. On top of that we had false charges when we moved out. We had notarized letters sent to Chris and his district manager trying to fix the situation. Never heard back from either of them. Before we left the parking garage was mouse infested and there was more than a few dead mice laying around the garage for weeks at a time. We even saw a mouse on our floor. The carpets are often pissed stained and rarely cleaned. The walls in the hallway have a black films towards the baseboard. The Casey became the grossest apartment I've lived in since graduating college. I regret not moving before Covid but, I was extremely sick on dialysis. Being sick and having to live in this situation was a horrible nightmare all around. read more

The facilities (gym, pool, dog park) are always clean and taken care of. Kayla from the leasing office has been absolutely amazing. I absolutely love living here. I have lived in many other "luxury" apartments that have all the price tag but none of the benefits. The people running The Casey must have worked at chick-fil-a at some point in their lives because they are efficient af and know how to get things done. I have never lived somewhere where the management is actually proactive about getting anything done and providing so much for their residents. Maintenance is quick and friendly, the place is always clean, the fitness center actually has more than 2 pieces of working cardio equipment, there is a dog run, they have a package pick up system for those who can't make it to the office before closing time, there is a call box so you don't even have to get up to get your uber eats order, they put on events with free food and drinks at least once a month, and they have the nice fridges with the ice and water dispensers built in. Never having to worry about getting up in the middle of the night for a drink only to find an empty Brita is easily worth the higher rent alone. And all that is even before the views of Coors Field or the 3 minute walk to the store. The office staff does a great job of communicating with residents on the status of projects and everyone else could learn a thing or 2 from these guys on the proper way to apologize for any inconveniences (stress balls and alcohol) especially when what they're apologizing for is not their fault to begin with. The apartment interiors are bright, open and spacious. I love the light wood floors and white countertops. It feels so much more like an actual home than other complexes that have all dark everything. The front garage doors being broken sometimes are an inconvenience at best considering there are 2 working doors in the back and it's a literal 30 second difference. At least they keep the doors shut when they are broken so our cars are secure. Anywhere else I have lived they lock the doors open when broken and cars get broken into all the time. Considering that is the #1 complaint from residents, it's easy to see that this is easily one of the better complexes in the ballpark area. 2 thumbs up for The Casey! read more

They get a star for location but thats it. Lived there 3+ years and the only thing that kept me there that long was the inconvenience of moving at the time. Since I moved there, half a dozen other choices have opened up in the near vicinity as well as most of the mountain view is now blocked so I'd shop around and try something else if doing it all over again. read more

My wife and I lived in the Casey for several months as a part of a corporate relocation. We stayed there temporarily while we looked for a more permanent place. We definitely enjoyed our stay there. The staff were awesome! Our unit was new and needed a few maintenance things ---because it was new. The maintenance staff showed up within a few minutes and were very friendly professional and responsive. They fixed the problems immediately and we are very comfortable with them. The front desk staff are superb...very helpful and professional. they were very attentive and we felt like they cared about making sure our stay there was awesome. The location was great for me...I. could walk to my offices in LoDo and easy walk to Union station. I will say, though, this is definitely a place for the younger crowd. If I were in my 20s, this will be my first choice in downtown Denver for something longer term. With the grocery store right across the street, restaurants nearby and the baseball field close by it was super convenient. you can also walk to the Pepsi Center as well. The inside of the unit was very modern and up-to-date. A nice amount of cabinet space in the bedrooms/closets are a good size. The workout room was never crowded. The people who live there are very friendly and polite. Always a great conversation in the elevator! The only thing I did not like was the construction a few blocks away (not the Casey's fault). The construction, at times, made it a little difficult to walk up Wewatta. Once the construction is done this place will be even more convenient. Also a nice couple of restaurants right around the corner/across the street. I thought the train noise would be a problem but it wasn't. Nice surprise given it is so close to union station. read more

I've lived in 7 apartment complexes now across 3 different cities and I've never had issues with noise like I do here and I wish I would have done more research on reviews before signing. You can hear everything above and below, and something as little as residents walking upstairs rattles my glasses in the kitchen and shakes my walls - maybe that's why the model unit I was shown during a tour is on the higher floor? The units look nice on the inside, but the building itself was clearly very poorly made. I really wanted to love this place but I definitely will not be resigning and I have told multiple friends considering a move here to look elsewhere. read more

The walls seem to be sound proof but the ceilings are soooooo thin!!! Could hear everything, constant footsteps, stomping, even conversations from above. My roommate also switched apartments and when he moved out they tried to charge him an unbelievable amount for cleaning fees, ended up cutting fee in half and it was still crazy high. read more

The office staff is really friendly and helpful (including the maintenance staff-they are really nice and get things fixed quickly). The amenities are nice and the location is really great (central downtown location near union station). My biggest complaint (and reason why we almost moved) is that the ceilings are PAPER THIN. You can hear absolutely everything, when our upstairs neighbor has on shoes it sounds like the ceiling will collapse. You can hear their alarms go off, toilets flush, you name it. If you are sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. Luckily we got a better upstairs neighbor who isn't quite as noisy as the previous guy that was living there before her. I lived at The Casey since 2015 up to Late Feb 2017 and left only because my company asked me to relocate to a different city. I will always consider the Casey if I ever come back to live in Denver. Everyone working at The Casey are excellent people; the manager, agents at the leasing office and the maintenance team are very professional, extremely nice and helpful, everyone is always smiling and asking how they can help you. There are monthly activities for the residents, most of people is well educated, professionals and students. The building is well maintain and the location is excellent just 5 mins walking to Union Station which is great if you need to get to the airport often. Coots Field, Pepsi center and other attractions are very close too. The renters agreement is cristal clear and if you want your deposit back just do as they say, take care of the place while living there, and have it clean throughly when leaving if you do not want to pay for the extra cleaning fees, which are very detailed once you give your notice letter. In my case I did contract a cleaning company for $150 and got my check mailed to my place within 3 weeks. Cons: It is a building and the conditions for this type of structures are common to most modern properties, please do not complain about thin walls and noise unless you were living on a 12th Century Castle before moving to a building. I signed a lease at The Casey in April and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I've moved multiple times for work, so I've lived in numerous apartment complexes, and The Casey is by far the nicest apartment complex I've lived in. And you can't beat the location - you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, parks, and Coors Field, yet you're just far enough away where you don't have to deal with the traffic or late night noise. The office staff (Sarah, Ellery, and team) is top notch. The maintenance team is friendly and always around (I haven't had any maintenance issues or needs). The building is brand new so odds are you'll be the first person to live in your unit. The units are beautiful, with nice countertops and cabinets and HUGE walk-in closets. The common areas and amenities are obviously brand new as well. They have a great rooftop deck that overlooks Coors Field, which has a BBQ grill and 80'' TV. Residents tend to congregate there, which has been a great place to meet new people. The residents tend to be professionals and young professionals (25 - 40 yrs). read more

When touring for apartments, I came across several un-professional and lazy leasing agents. I looked at about 20 different apartments located downtown and I felt so delighted when I was first greeted at The Casey by Property Manager Allison. She not only welcomed me with a warm smile, but was truly happy to show me around. I had a fantastic tour and leased immediately. During my time at The Casey, the staff was always happy to help and great to talk to. I did have a few maintenance requests that were addressed immediately and efficiently. The maintenance staff was always very kind and respectful of my belongings as well. I come from a property management background and it is a breath of fresh air to be able to live in a building I would enjoy working at. Halls are clean, amenities are not only amazing but well kept and the staff is 2 thumbs up. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I HIGHLY recommend leasing here. I lived in The Casey for 7 months and could not get out soon enough. It is a beautiful building with well maintained amenities and beautiful finishes for the units themselves. However, the maintenance team could care less about how your apartment looks upon move-in, I was the second tenant in my unit and the floors were already destroyed, paint turned yellow, multiple holes in the walls, and unmatched paint to fix wall dings. The place is a mess. PAPER THIN WALLS AND CEILINGS, you can hear everything your neighbors do from wake up in the morning to using the bathroom, living here will test your patience for privacy. The two stars is because of the nice finishes in the units and for the leasing office staff helping me move out of this terrible complex. read more

We have loved our time at the Casey and are very sorry to see it end. If you're a young, dog-loving professional then this is the absolutely best place in Denver for you. There are so many things to love: 1. Location: The view of the city CANNOT be beat, especially if you're south facing. You're also close to the highway, sporting venues, King Soopers, public transportation, parks, dog parks, shops, EVERYTHING! 2. The apartments themselves are spacious and beautiful. We had the A3 model and it was a great size for entertaining. 3. Very dog friendly! If you don't like dogs this is not the place for you. It's hard to find someone that doesn't have a furry friend connected at the hip. 4. The maintenance crew is incredible! Unfortunately the apartments are cheaply built so things are always breaking. They always come right away and even after hours. Plus they're really nice guys! 5. The front desk team when we first moved in was incredible! Within the last month they all left except for Amanda. We haven't met the new ladies yet, but I hope they're good as well! Like with all apartments, there are a few cons: 1. Price: Rent has been fluctuating like crazy and right now since it's so high, we won't be returning. Mainly just has to do with the crazy Denver housing market, which is a bummer. 2. Parking: They have a great underground parking garage that is locked down like a fortress, you need to go through several gates just to go in and out. Some people probably find it annoying, but for me that was a huge plus! However it's incredibly expensive to have more than one spot and street parking around the building is pretty much unheard of. They do have some guest parking in the back, but they say they "charge" for it. So it's hard to have people over. 3. Sound: The apartments are only partially soundproof. I say partially because side to side, you can't hear anything which is awesome, but because there's no carpet except in the bedroom, sound travels through the floors and ceilings like crazy, which sucks. If I had to guess it's probably the number 1 complaint the office gets. Luckily we had neighbors that were respectful and civil about it but I've heard horror stories. Still, it sucks having to be so quiet and cautious. Overall, if you're looking to rent in the city, the Casey is the place to be. The other apartments in the area just don't compare! read more
