The office has been closed since mid March, no extra distractions and the manager Devyn is terrible, always has wrong amounts on my account, if your wondering how it changes month to month? I do too. Then Devyn doesn't mark as paid. Having a court order for possession when you paid during this already stressful moment is the worst. Managenent is terrible. Maintenance guys especially Andrew are awesome. Ryan and Thomas are great in the office, Thomas has moved up and not in the office anymore so again we have newbies that have no idea what they are doing. Customer service is terrible. You never get a correct answer. You need to record your phone conversations and email everything for it to be legit in their minds. Why am I still here? Long story short, one more year kiddo graduating high school nearby and moving sucks. Managenent really is everything. And Devyn is terrible. Also Managenent doesn't control all the non residents using the hot tubs or pools This was all last year Oh we are limited to 9-6 just recently for the gym and pool? We can't use the gun after or before work or the pool or the dog area but no of course we get no discount. Managenent is terrible

Our apartment is great and any time we have had an issue- we submit a ticket and it is fixed right way. Valet trash means we never have to walk our trash to the dumpster if we don't want! They take community suggestions seriously (we suggested they out up some hooks near the hot tub and they installed them within a few days!) Any issues in the complex they let us know via email what is going on and how they are working to fix it! That does not include how nice and UPDATED all of the apartment are! We have such nice countertops, a fireplace, washer/dryer garage- I can't list all of the amazing things about our place! Every time someone comes to visit us, they comment on how updated and nice our apartment looks (in terms of hardware and amenities) They also care about their residents and do fun community activities like having parties, food trucks or just this morning- I was offered burritos, donuts and coffee while I was exiting the complex! The leasing office was out there handing them out to residents! I have also heard about them leaving people goodie bags just because! That is beyond what they need to do and so sweet! They are upfront and honest about leasing and happily show you around to make sure you feel good about your choice! We love living here (and have lived in many apartments in Denver and other places) and I have never had a management office that cares or does more for their residents! Highly recommend living here!

    First the good news, worthy of kudos: Roger, the head of the maintenance team/ effort during much…read moreof the two year span we lived at Vita, is by far the best staff member there. Always responsive, efficient, and naturally engaging. His predecessor always had a half-hearted excuse for not fixing obvious trim and finish problems. The rest of the Vita 'experience' is best summarized by types of problems encountered, many if not all of them left unresolved. To be honest, Vita and Zocalo Corp cannot now address the biggest problem of all, location. With Littleton suffering from various types of poor governance in its quest to become a small Boulder, there's not much one can do about the transients/ crazed souls who often enough disturb and walk through the area and property, the miserable local and pass-through traffic patterns, or the de-nuding and over-development of the LiDo downtown neighborhood. Keep the Littleton PD and City Managers numbers on speed dial, if you're inclined to report things. A couple of decisions Zocalo should have thought through, however, are the flow of public and resident parking into the parking structure. There's only one driveway and one entrance exit, and there's plenty of traffic (and delays) on weekends and holidays from the patrons of the restaurant and golf range/ bar which share the property. One entrance/ exit might not be a big problem, except when the access/ system frequently breaks down, and disallows entry even when its ticket printer runs out of paper! Bizarre. Other basic areas which troubled us continually: Parking assignments. Our open space assignment was never resolved to provide a covered space, even though 3 employees promised that an audit and resolution was on its way. Parking security/ signage: No signs to help patrons and visitors avoid a secured residents-only elevator in order to access the retail shops on-property. Sounds simple, yet Zocalo - and its staff apologists - comes off as too cheap to put up a $5 sign to promote good will. (We were always politely re-directing visitors to the ground floor sidewalks.) With power failures, the parking structure becomes a pitch dark space - with few emergency lights. Does that make sense for a complex with many residents in the 70-90 year old age range? Car break-ins and loitering were not epidemic, but when they happened, management never acknowledged any security aspect of this problem. A break-in involving the cutting of the chain-link fencing separating public and private parking was NOT resolved by putting up a tighter high security mesh fence, but with Zocalo instead hiring two workmen to stitch together existing and replacement fencing, yielding a patchwork stretch that looks to be easily breached again. Suggestions made directly to staff about this and similar problems are met with head-nodding, wide-eyed acknowledgment and sympathy, but...no action. Is the Vita staff only expecting elderly or senior tenants to be so happy with the diversions and entertainment provided each week/ month, that serious and obvious vulnerabilities don't matter? Hard to argue otherwise. Management also seems to not bother explaining contradictions or vagueness re: certain rules or practices. As an example, while we were moving out, a neighbor was surprised and troubled to hear of how we needed to use a deep-cleaning checklist in order to avoid move-out charges to our deposit - including high dollar charges for re-painting any interior walls. Naturally, she and her husband had gone ahead and done their own re-painting with more than a couple of walls in their apartment, after being told it was fine/ expected/ no problem. I guess that if you or an elderly parent don't mind having group or collective activities changed, removed, canceled, or modified, and also having some of these actions simply brushed off, then putting up $3000 + collective utilities each month is no big deal. For us, a move back to the openness and quieter suburbs was a relief.

I'm surprised they are saying its clean and well kept with good security because it is NONE of those things. They must be paid and fake reviews 100%. they have zero experience in managing an apartment complex. they "re-painted" all the buildings over the past few months with what i can only call the worst hired crew of workers that werent managed at all. completely trashed the apartment complex. lets move onto walking around the apartment complex. there is dog shit EVERYWHERE. i would say at least half of the residents with dogs all have AGGRESSIVE dogs. so its hard to walk your dog when you encounter someone else out where they can barely hold onto their animal that just wants to charge at you. or at least bark aggressively at your existence. the maintenance? or grounds-keepers? What would you call them here? They dont do any of that. go look at the apartments directly across the street, during fall into the winter, they hired proper groundskeeping to rake and blow all the leaves to keep walking and dog-walking pleasent near a GOLF COURSE. then look at this side of the street, it looks like complete ass. and you dont know if youll step in shit from all the people not picking up their dog shit. hidden under several layers of leaves. lets move onto how "clean" our apartment was when we moved in. it wasnt. dirty tubs, every appliance needed maintenance and replaced. all the blinds are cracked/broken. and they charge 2700 a month LOL. and were talking about an apartment complex that borders highlands ranch golf course. the "front door trash service" is a joke. the employees walk up your stairs to retrieve the trash like they weigh 500 lbs and stomp each step in the afternoon when they come to pick it up. they let juices drip all over the ground so its all stinky even. the dog poop stations dont get swapped out until they are OVER flowing. all this is the REALITY of this place. over priced bullshit slumlord apartment complex with a nice clubhouse to make you think that its nice because it borders a golf course and its in "highlands ranch" where everything is just so nice....

Not sure how towing creates additional parking. Very certain how it creates animosity. Myopic or malicious? Does it matter? This is a first class example of untrained, uncaring mgmt. "Let's do it the dumbest way possible because it's easier for you." If you are looking to rent here, ask about parking. Keep asking until you hear disclosure of the problem and time-frame for a solution.
