    Southwestern Breaded Chicken Sandwich

Located in the Petro station, it is actually a full restaurant with table/booth seating. Reminds me a little of Denny's or Huddle House. Menu has some light lunch or breakfast options as well as comfort foods. Hubs ordered the onion rings for a starter. Didn't appear hand cut or battered but were still decent. Looks like many people order online for pick up as it got pretty busy with people were coming in for orders but the seating area wasn't busy. All servers were knowledgeable of the menu and interactive. Leisha was amazing and had been here 25 years. Moms rarely get to eat first and when she brought out the food she made sure I was served first. Food was outstanding and exceeded my expectations on all levels--flavor, presentation and temperature. The restaurant was clean and the gas station was clean. Since it is inside a truck stop setup you could do some laundry real quick if needed. I certainly would stop here again for a rest break, have dinner/lunch or fill up on road food/supplies.

Sorry I ate most of it before thinking to take a pic - but it's a veggie egg white omelette.

This little unassuming joint off I-75 is wonderful! The manager is on the ball! The servers are attentive and professional. The food - there are so many options! My husband got a fried chicken sandwich with a special sauce - he said he enjoyed it! (It was all gone!) I am on a special eating plan - they even had something for me! Egg white veggie omelette. I even asked for an extra egg white - no charge. My son ate chicken Parmesan- he loved it! My daughter got spaghetti and meatballs! It was gone! Fast eating experience for sit-down. They offer a military discount. I n PE it's inside a Petro station, but you NEED to try it!

Pleasantly surprised with this Dinner located inside a truck stop! Food was tasty and served rather quickly. Server was so pleasant and returned often to keep our drinks full! Great place to meet in the middle with some of my Orlando area friends!

Stopped thru on way from south Florida to ATL. Wanted to go somewhere different......both sandwiches were very good. A little overpriced but at same time it is a sit down restaurant not necessarily a fast food. Chicken sandwich was especially good! Waitress was very kind and quick! Would definitely stop again as we drive past.

    Family business!!!

This is a hidden gem in Florida! We stopped here after my wife found it on Yelp. The food was fantastic, the service by Lesia was excellent, and the vibe was great! If I ever come this way again, me and my family are coming back!

Always a treat to eat at this buffet. We come here after late nights or when we don't feel like cooking our own eggs.

What are the buffet specials each day ? Please let me know. Thank You !!!

They always have chicken baked and fried. They have seafood night. The best thing to do is call them before you go and find out. They change the menu. Monday is $9.95 buffet. You can also get the soup and salad and dessert bar every night for $8.90.

The menu is eclectic in the best way -- you can go comfort‑food heavy or fully vegan and still end up with something flavorful. The black bean burger and goat cheese wontons are especially worth the hype. The vibe is artsy, lively, and a little chaotic, but in a way that makes the experience fun rather than stressful. Service can be unhurried during busy hours, yet the staff stays friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a great place to settle in, enjoy good food, and soak up Gainesville's character.

Instead, those guests handed us theirs. When she came back, I asked about the specials. Her answer: "I don't know, I didn't write them down... some kind of fish with risotto." I said I was interested in the soup. She left to find out, came back with "chicken noodle and Thai soup,." When I asked what was in the Thai soup, she said, "I don't know, but there's fish in it." That's not just bad service, it's careless. People have allergies and dietary restrictions. Not knowing what's in the food is inexcusable. I went inside and spoke with the manager, who apologized and agreed that the staff should know the menu and the specials. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries for $16.95. It came out with barely any pork and limp, lifeless fries. It's unfortunate, because the setting is beautiful. But between the service and the food, it's simply not worth it. I didn't eat. The service was so poor I lost my appetite. We definitely won't be back.

Entering it kind of reminds you of a farmhouse, I guess. Pretty standard furnishings and decoration for a country diner sort of place. Of course, we were there for breakfast, so the standard diner breakfast was on the menu. The full menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, and a couple of barbecue dishes. If there were more screens mounted on the walls I would call it a sportsbar, but that isn't the case. Our orders were taken, and I had gone for eggs, hashbrowns, and corned beef because it was St Patty's Day. Realistically one of the few times that I have legitimately had food that was appropriate for the holiday. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time for a group of ten, so the kitchen and staff knew what they were doing. The food was fine... nothing to really shout out about, but also not bad. It was what I expected it to be, and that was good enough.

1906 Farmhouse 25405 W Newberry Rd, Newberry, FL 32669…read more ***SWILL ALERT*** Pulling up to the hitchin' post at the 1906 Farmhouse, all seemed well and fine. I don't mind themed restaurants (they can be fun). This place was designed to model the Farmhouse where the ranch hands gathered for meals before and after a long day of riding. I dug it. It gave off a warm, welcoming, one-of-the-family vibe. Kasey was my server for the meal and she was frowning before I asked one question. I placed an order for one Country Fried Steak with sides of Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese, along with some Strawberry Shortcake to round out the meal. I soon saw Cantankerous Kasey begrudgingly returning with my victuals. I don't understand this attitude. Am I supposed to be grateful she deigned to work here? Anyway, if any of you are curious like me, you may have often wondered what it was like to spend a day in jail. To that end, I admit, I got myself hauled off to the County Hoosegow. Wanting to make the most out of my tax dollars, I booked my stay to include lunch. The dry bologna sandwich you receive, along with the juice bag to wash it down, is something you try to forget. As I looked at the slop my trustee, Kasey, placed before me, I began to long for the county jail government issue bologna. The Country Fried Steak was fresh from the freezer and cooked with the precision of Stevie Wonder passing his behind-the-wheel driving test. I've been hit with hockey pucks softer than this garbage. The gravy was made in the Sysco factory and this had to be their bottom-grade slush. It was as tasty as flour and water. Wait. The sides were a step down from the entree, if that is possible. Just look at the pictures and tell me, does anything look appetizing? While I am not one to ever judge a book by its cover, as looks can be deceiving. In this case, they are not, and the adage 'a picture speaks a thousand words' is spot on. The Collard Greens were obviously from an industrial can. Hey, don't get me wrong, all restaurants use a food service, but you don't have to be cheap about it and try to finagle the dining population by using the lowest quality they have to offer. The Mac & Cheese looked more like something a dog regurgitated than actual food. It was dry and pasty on the palate--just the way it is not supposed to be. The Strawberry Shortcake is also food service, not unlike the stuff you got in high school, only worse. Kudos, 1906 Farmhouse, you officially serve Swill sans the fly. At least on this visit. The Big Boy says, "I wouldn't serve this SWILL to a dead dog."
