I generally enjoy a good Mongolian BBQ. While the overall experience was positive, I do think the cut of the meat and how much space just a few pieces take up in the bowl could be improved. A different way of serving the meat might make the experience better. Otherwise, no real complaints. The service was efficient, and the location is convenient, situated in the food court near the entrance. This is my favorite Mongolian bbq place. There are so many options of meat and veggies! The chicken breast is perfect if you don't like any chewy or tough pieces. They have such a variety of veggies like tomatoes, carrots, bok Choy, and baby corn. They cooked the chicken and veggies perfectly because they steam it with a lid. I love the house chili sauce is like the Huy Fong chili garlic sauce only it's not too spicy. My son is even more picky than I and he ate it all. One plate filled up me and my son. After I paid I received my bowl and as soon as I started to serve myself the cashier took the bowl away from my hands and said " I'll serve you what do you want." Then a large selection of vegetables, add pineapple or garlic and then selection of sauces. I suggest everything! Then they will add the noodles and cook it in front of you on a round grill. There was only one gentleman working, he did the register, the sauces and the grill and he wasn't very friendly. The food was given in a brown paper box thats used for salads and it was burning hot as I was carrying it. The food wasnt very good, with no flavor and the meat was over cooked. I'm gonna start by saying the food is 5 out of 5 stars. The main reason why I'm giving this place a 1 star rating is based on the hours. The hours state they close at 7pm. As I was walking thru the doors at 5:35 they had already put all their food away and were basically done cleaning. I drove all the way from Oxnard to eat here. It was a disappointment and honestly pathetic. I suggest if you guys are gonna close an hour and a half early, please change your hours so people don't waste their time, thanks. read more

I have always loved this place but the employees just are not kind nor compassionate, I accidentally put a sauce on that i can't have and caught it before they even put it on the grill, i kindly asked if i could quickly redo it and they just shrugged it off. Mall food for sure but semi fresh. I like that you get to pick the items and amount that you want in your bowl. I really like the texture of the noodles. We add many scoops of bbq, garlic, chili, and one scoop of the oyster and lemon sauce. The guys working the grill were really nice. It's a good amount of food for the price. Solid spot for lunch or dinner. While the food quality is not the best, it certainly does the job. For $10.20 after tax, you will leave very full and satisfied. This location in particular keeps their grill/wok extremely clean. Cleaner than other Mongolian BBQ places I've been to by far. Service is nice for the most part. After you pay, you'll be given a bowl to fill to your liking. Meat options include chicken, beef, and more. Vegetables I normally go for here are broccoli and carrots. Pineapples are a nice touch. Tip: Don't leave space for noodles in your bowl. They add it separately at the end in its own bowl. I've made this mistake a couple times now and I always regret not stocking up more on the meats and veggies. Go ahead and give this place a try. For the price and quantity, it ends up being a pretty good deal. The taste is good, and there's really not much to complain about. I am absolutely certain this had been said before but if I could give negative numbers I would. I normally like to give positive reviews and if you look up my review history you will see that it's much better to praise than to detract but this situation had me so upset I just felt that I had to write it view the situation to prevent others the same grief. I ordered 3 separate meals through the post mates app. The app was pretty clear as to how to place the orders and specifically what you want in your order. I placed the order for pick up taking too long for someone to drive it. That said I came to pick up the order and only 2 of them in the bag they had to make 3rd because it wasn't ready so clearly they weren't paying much attention. I finally got the order home and each order was mine specifically one I had ordered which I had just wanted vegetables and meat with no noodles or rice. Not to get into specifics but it was wrong and it had noodles which I don't eat. I 1st call and ask what they were going to do is accommodation less than sympathetic, he was downright right. I requested a refund for everything and once again I was met with a can't do attitude as opposed to a can do attitude or any kind of remorse. I was told that I have to go back to the post mates app and do the refund process through them so now I've driven here twice and now it's up to me to acquire my refund. That sounds like pretty good customer service to me right. As I complained one of the employees came up with this brilliant one. Well next time you come in you shouldn't use the app you should just come in and placed the order yourself. Hey post mates they're really out than your cause. So it's my fault now not actually physically showing up in placing the order and/or live on a app that markets itself as a food order app. The entire experience was frustrating and terrible please didn't exactly set my Saturday night off on the best foot. I'm less be very honest food aobt worth the trouble. Stay away people Postmates you may want to take these guys off ur app. They're not exactly supporting your cause and they are representing you extraordinarily poorly. We arrived at 7:49 knowing they close at 8. They told us the closed at 7:45. There was one couple waiting for their food to be finished. All the meats and veggies were still open, nothing was put away. The guy at the register asked if they could do one more and the cook said NO. Avoid unless you are dying and have no other choice. So burnt I couldn't eat. You are supposed to clean the grill after you have cooked other's dishes. I stopped here for lunch on a whim today and because they had no other customers and the grill was being cleaned. Being a picky eater who hates spicy food, I often avoid places like this because they can move my food through the same space on the grill where spicy food was just sitting and contaminate it with garlic and stuff. So since I was the only one there and the grill was clean I gave it whirl. The woman at the register was very nice and helpful in explaining the process as I hadn't been to their restaurant before. I filled my bowl with meat and veggies (the meat is frozen in thin sheets and doesn't want to pack into your bowl so you end up with quite a bit of empty space in there) and then an employee piles noodles on top before handing to the person who cooks it all. My food was cooked and ready very quickly. The staff did add a bit of some kind of sauce while it was on the grill but then I asked for only water and he swapped back to water and I couldn't taste anything unusual so I guess the default sauce they use is very mild. Food was okay - meat and veggies aren't high quality but they're okay. Actually I didn't like the beef at all (it tasted too strongly like cow and was tough), the pork was okay and the chicken was fine. I was satisfyingly full afterward. My soda tasted weak though so that sucked. I'd consider coming here again if the timing worked out for me to snag a space on a fresh grill. read more

Soooo disappointed and disgusted! Whenever my family goes to the mall we usually eat here....but not this time! As we walked up the young cashier had her back turned and her friend was at the counter. Her friend reached around the counter and grabbed a carrot or 2 with her hands. Threw the carrot(s) at the cashier. The cashier turned around laughed and said something to her friend. She knew a carrot hit her because she looked down. She than saw us and tried helping us. I told her that her friend stuck her hand in the carrots and threw it at her and her response was "I didn't see her." I was disappointed she didn't immediately throw the carrots away. Here with the folks from out of town. Walked the food court and immediately chose Mongolian BBQ because it looked healthy and who doesn't want to eat right after Christmas? They give you a tiny bowl, but you can pack plenty veggies & meat which all looked fresh and clean. Then, noodles are placed on top and you get to choose your sauce before it goes on the grill. Not sure if MSG is used, but once the finished product, there was way too much sauce and just drowned out the food. I would go again, but I'd specify 'light' sauce next time. read more

I have been here several times and tonight they went downhill. The younger Hispanic guy who was cashiering was extremely rude. Asked if I was paying cash or card, I said card and he said we are not taking cards right now. Okay well then why ask, put a signed up and say your machine is down! Then he hardly put any noodle on my plate but yet he let the guy behind me pay with his card and gave him a good amount of noodles. At the end of the grill his noodles did not fit in one plate but two. I asked for teriyaki sauce and the guy made me wait over a minute to get me some. While eating my food I noticed him and an older guy use their phone while handling food. Yuck!!! I don't care if your other hand has a glove in the food industry that's a major No No!!! The food is good, but beware when you buy a beverage. Drinks have always been refillable here, but suddenly they are not. I paid $2.79 plus tax for a small drink and the gal never told me that drinks are not refillable... they are cheaper and refillable at most other places nearby. It would be prudent to take your business elsewhere. read more

He just placed the noodles on the hot frying plate for 2 seconds then put it back in the bowl. That's not cooking the food and thats how people get sick (raw food). 5.
