The flavor is so delicious! Very friendly and accommodating. This time we tried the beef chow fun and T5 spicy pepper chx...the spicy is just right but the flavor sooo good.! Price is right for the amount of food you get..

    Text confirmation

Terrible experience. I just placed an order online and got confirmation that it was placed. I also got a text message confirmation and informed to pick it up in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the restaurant was closed. I called the restaurant and they said sorry we're closed. I asked why my order went through successfully if they were closed and she said we don't control the online ordering, that's not our fault and we're closed today. I couldn't believe this and to not even be apologetic and rude, it is just unacceptable. I hope my credit card does not get charged because I'm going to be very upset. I just wasted time and do not have food for dinner. Very upsetting!

Awesome food and great service! We always come here when family and friends get together!

    Restaurant

New place in Thousand Oaks off Moorpark Road. Delicious Singapore noodles and pretty good dim sum. Super excited about this place and will be going back. We had singapore noodles, cha su bao, sticky rice, and shu mai. Forgot to try the sesame balls which is one of my favorites.

It's hidden in the corner of the strip mall off Moorpark Rd. They have good food and great prices. Service was friendly and easy parking.

The frog that I tried to is so bad. It has a kind of bad smell. I even had a stomachache after eating it on the next day

My son was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, and eating out at restaurants has been a challenge. We went to Fusion Grill today, the first time since his diagnosis, and the owner explained that she could make almost anything on the menu gluten-free. They have gluten-free pastas, breads, buns.... They even have a separate fryer, so we don't have to worry about cross-contamination. Most importantly, the owner really understands that even a tiny bit of gluten is still gluten, and for someone with Celiac, they can get very sick. My kids were so excited to find a "safe" restaurant, and we plan on returning frequently!

The fries are addictive, crispy and perfectly seasoned, their "house" sauce - a sweet and savory aioli is crack. This fusion salad is perfection, every thing is perfectly seasoned, insanely fresh, but what gets me is how clean the flavors are, every ingredient comes through clearly and then complements so well. Service is warm, genuine and owner driven. Space is bright and tasteful but nothing overly fancy. Prices are a little over average, but quality really makes you not blink an eye over it.

The beef in the ox shoyu was soft and the chicken in the chicken miso ramen was also flavorful. My complaint about the broth in general is that it is salty, but honestly most ramen places are like that. To me the broth was more of a dipping sauce than soup, I found it too salty to drink directly. Service: I had wanted to order the vegetarian ramen for the toppings and sub the vegetarian broth for the beef but "no substitutions allowed" which I think is kind of ridiculous because ramen is literally put together with broth, noodles, and toppings. It is dead simple to make a substitution of broth but...oh well. The nice touch was the small Japanese chocolate wafer given with the bill.

We sat down near the entrance to get some of the breeze from outside. The decor of the restaurant is nice, with lots of Thai-inspired decor. Now let's get to the good stuff! The food here is amazing. I ordered a hot pot soup that was simply perfect. The amount of spice was just enough, and I love hot pots because they keep my soup hot. My husband ordered a beef rice bowl and added shrimp to it. The rice bowl was also so delicious. To go along with my meal, I ordered Thai boba tea, and I loved it! The portions are generous, so we had leftovers, which we were happy about! I definitely want to go back to try some of their shaved ice; it looks amazing. I can't wait to go back to try other items on their menu.

It seemed to take a while till someone brought us water and another little while till our orders were finally taken. We requested two Thai iced teas which were quite delicious with coconut milk subbed for the cows milk. We told the server we would be sharing our orders. We shared a vegan hot pot and a Pad See Ew with chicken. The hot pot consisted of broccoli, shredded cabbage, carrots, steamed tofu, corn, udon noodles, two vegan dumplings, sliced squash, spinach and baby bok choy. Veggies were tender crisp although the broth was rather bland. The Pad See Ew was a bit disappointing. While the sauce was tasty, the broccoli and carrots tender crisp, the chicken was not only dry but quite tough and chewy. I must add, as were sharing these dishes, the server neglected to bring additional plates and a serving ladle for the soup. So my hubby had to go inside find someone and request the serving utensils for both dishes, plates and eating utensils for sharing. So we waited again. Not sure what folks ate that gave a five star review . What we experienced fell a couple notches below that rating. Would I return? Probably not, there are better options in Ventura.

Nori Japanese Grill has clearly remained a local favorite and standing the test of time like that deserves a round of applause. I've driven by this spot on Thousand Oaks Boulevard so many times and after running errands one afternoon, I found myself starving and wanting something casual where I could get in and out quickly. The restaurant is super casual, and you order at the counter, but they take care of everything after that. Your food is brought right to your table, and honestly, I love this style of dining. You pay upfront, so once you're finished eating, you can simply head out whenever you're ready. It's perfect for a quick lunch. I was being a basic girl when I came and kept it simple with shrimp tempura and a California roll. The food here is solid, simple, and satisfying. I'm not here to tell you it's "the best sushi I've ever had" but it's just classic Japanese comfort food done well. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy and I liked the tempura side sauce for dipping. The california roll was no frills but tasty. For about $25 after tip, I got a drink, a sushi roll, and shrimp tempura, which honestly isn't bad in today's economy. It definitely beats grabbing fast food or eating at the same old boring chain restaurants. If you find yourself in Thousand Oaks looking for a quick, satisfying lunch, stop by and support this longtime local staple. It definitely hit the spot!

We let the group pass us and entered the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a corner table and given menus. It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. I hate being that person that lingers at closing time. What I do regret is that I did not take more time at their counter as we exited because it was full of snacks and curios that I love. Next time for sure!
