Our system now has a leak because of faulty install and now they are saying they only honor a 1-year warranty. That is the worst warranty in the Spokane / North Idaho area. They sent a super young man, and we were billed and paid the almost 200 dollars. Sturm was going to have a tech come out and tell us how much a complete repair would be (I ass u med) we paid for that and we also asked the tech to have sales contact us for bids to replace HP with another heat pump or A/C unit. After over a month of no contact, I finally got the poor receptionist to explain that it would be over 800 dollars MORE before they could tell us how much it would be to fix it. And, she politely said she would ask sales to contact us to follow up on repair or replace. OVER A MONTH OF NOTHING and now over 800 to do something we paid for in May. They threw away a long relationship with us and we are telling our friends, colleagues and neighbors.

They installed Wi-fi enabled controls for our home, and tested all of the areas of the home for the control. We would definitely recommend them to others. Chris Lee

AFHHS responded by visiting in a couple of hours and providing a preliminary assessment. A deep dive evaluation was scheduled for later in the week. The technician who arrived was very knowledgeable and thorough in his evaluation, pointing out a couple of things that contradicted the original evaluation by the first company. Although the AF technician indicated the furnace was a bit undersized for the square footage of our home, he said the furnace was in reasonable condition for being 11 years old. He recommended a thorough cleaning of the furnace in the spring before committing to purchasing a new furnace. We are very pleased with the results of calling AFHHS and will be looking forward to their service in a few months.

From start to finish I was pleasantly surprised of the great communication, fair price, quality work and fast service I received. He left my bathroom spotless after two messy repairs and I was so impressed. I have not always had good luck with contractors or repair people. More often than not, I have ended up feeling cheated, frustrated and disappointed, But not with Shaw. I believe this is the second fantastic experience I have had with this company. What really made my day was hearing from an employee what a great place Shaw is to work and how much they love their job. Now, you don't hear that every day! That right there is how you run a successful business. I highly recommend Shaw to all my family and Friends. The owner Hank Shaw, is a honest to goodness stand up guy.

The water heater had a leaky valve, so they had to fix that first. Then the first toilet needed new gasket and seal in the tank. Then the 2nd one turned into a major project. It was clogged with calcium that they couldn't fully removed so we decide to go for a new toilet. When they took the old one out the seals in the floor were all rusted out. And the pipe in the floor was a mess so they had to replace that too. And once the toilets were done, they installed bidet attachments for us. They finished up around 2pm. I was so grateful that they were able to get everything done for us in 1 day. Highly recommend!

The house is winterized so it just absorbs heat and at times inside would be hotter than it was outside. Even with the air on we could never get the downstairs below 77 degrees. Upstairs was a sauna. It made it hard to sleep. I checked around different companies for prices on diagnostics.I spoke with Zane at Element Air and they were running a special where they'd run a diagnostics on our AC and furnace for $129 so we went with them. The tech that came out and was super knowledgeable! Answered all of our questions and was never annoyed by us asking what had to be dumb ones. They diagnosed all our AC problems and some with the furnace and fixed them, all at a very reasonable price. The AC is blowing cold. We were actually shocked yesterday when we were doing yard work and then came inside and the house was cool for once! We are going to have them come out again to give the furnace another check before it starts getting cold. I'm really happy with them and their work. 5 stars!
