I can't thank Sam & Mike enough. They showed up a bit after 8am to fix 1 leaky toilet and another that wasn't flushing well and flush the water heater. The water heater had a leaky valve, so they had to fix that first. Then the first toilet needed new gasket and seal in the tank. Then the 2nd one turned into a major project. It was clogged with calcium that they couldn't fully removed so we decide to go for a new toilet. When they took the old one out the seals in the floor were all rusted out. And the pipe in the floor was a mess so they had to replace that too. And once the toilets were done, they installed bidet attachments for us. They finished up around 2pm. I was so grateful that they were able to get everything done for us in 1 day. Highly recommend! read more

We used Yelp to find a plumber at about 5 pm on a Saturday. Not a good feeling on a weekend! Our toilet was leaking, the shower drain was starting to flood & water was leaking onto the kitchen floor! Sam received the Yelp request & was at our place in 45 minutes! He accessed the drain outside and used his auger to blast through some tree roots. He struggled & worked for an hour to clear the pipes. Thank goodness for his willingness to help us. We were scared we'd have to remove the toilet or dig up the pipes outside. For a fair price, he gave us back the use of our shower, bathroom & kitchen again! If we ever need help like this again, I sure as heck hope that Spokane Plumbing is available! Called on New Year's Day expecting to get voicemail. Nope. Phone was answered by Sam, who immediately started taking information about my furnace problem. Given the symptoms, we thought I might have to replace my blower fan. At noon today, I got notice that Mike was on the way to look at the problem. At 12:30, Mike arrives. At 12:35, we're both looking at the furnace while he takes the blower fan cover off. At 12:37, he has diagnosed that the fan isn't dying or dead, but that it has shifted in its mounting bracket, making the fan blades hit the enclosure. SUPERB AND FRIENDLY SERVICE! The plumber that came out had trouble replacing my copper pipe and had to call for backup. Fortunately, they didn't charge me for the extra time. Heat was on but we were freezing. We all had bad colds. Blower was working but no hot air. 30 degrees outside and it was snowing. The interior temp of the house was 57 and diving. It was 4 PM. Went to Yelp. Most of the other HVAC companies closed at 4PM. Their page said he was open 24 hours. I called the number and Sam the owner answered the phone. He was here by 5:30 PM. A component was blown and we had heat by 6:30. Hero of the day. He did not jack us up with an end of day legit request. Best service ever!!! read more

It is with some reluctance that I write this review, because it is not entirely a positive one. I tried to avoid it by emailing the company two times, but did not get a response at all! The company was quite responsive, arriving on time, and the technician did an excellent job in repairing our AC. I did not check around much about an hourly rate, but $180 per hour seems on the steep side to me compared to other companies in town. The issue I had was that I was charged for some training time for a young man who was in training at my house under the lead technician. This is an unacceptable business practice. I was so shocked when I saw the bill that instead of bringing up the issue right away I went ahead and signed it and wrote the check. 15 minutes later I remained very disturbed by the fact that an extra $50 was tacked onto my bill for this young man to be trained during the service call to my house!! Be forewarned that this company seems to charge a very high hourly rate and may try to charge you for a new employee being trained. The blurb that the company writes in their advertisement on Yelp seems very nice and that's what I was hoping to find: a company I could count on in the future. Due to the lack of response and this additional cost I can't see how I would ever feel comfortable hiring them again. read more

The previous plumber said the clogged floor drain in the basement was not fixable. He said I would need to have the drain pipe dug out of the cement floor and replaced. I hired Spokane Plumbing and Heating to do that. When he came out, Sam asked if I would mind if he tried to fix it before digging the pipe up. Of course not. He quickly figured out that the drain's clean out cover was buried under the cement. He unburied the cap, had to sawzalled it off, then easily fixed the problem. Justin came and replaced our water heater, fixed a water hammer issue and at my request re-plumbed some copper tubing that needed to be replaced. Mike came and replaced a faulty furnace igniter and condensation pump on the furnace. They both called ahead of time, arrived on time, gave a good estimate, cleaned up afterwards and were a pleasure to deal with. I called Sam at 8:40. It is now 9:45 and my a/c is fixed and the house is cooling down. Our boiler wasn't working suddenly on a weekend so we called Spokane Plumbing and Heating since they have someone available 24/7. The technician came and figured out the problem and even replaced the very old thermostat for us. We were more than happy with the work he did and the care he took with the project. Our only complaint was the final cost, though it was the weekend so...We didn't realize that we'd be paying for the travel time of the technician in addition to the cost per hour which was steep. My heater was cycling on and off. The tech was able to diagnose a couple of issues. The previous homeowners did not change or use air filters causing the system to be very dirty.
