I'm usually not a fan of mango sticky rice, but Oasit's version completely won me over and reminded me of the one I had at a stall in Bangkok. The rice was still warm but fragrant with the scent of coconut milk and the sliced mango was fresh, juicy, and sweet. The mango shaved ice had a milky taste with a powdery finish that melted in my mouth instantly. I liked the little milk mochi pieces that added some chew to the dessert, though the mango cubes had a strange jellied texture and absolutely no mango flavor at all. I did ask a staff member about it, but they didn't know what kind of mango was used. Unfortunately, the jellied mango cubes were too distracting and detracted from my overall experience which was a shame because the mangoes from the sticky rice were definitely fresh.
