Do not waste your time and money coming to this place. I came here back in February looking to get the cracked screens of an iPad mini and iPad fixed because of the good reviews. I was told they would need to keep the iPads overnight which was fine. I picked them up the next day and all seemed fine. A few weeks later, the screens on both iPads started lifting up. I came back again to get them fixed. They had to be kept overnight again. To my surprise, a few weeks later, the screens on both iPads were lifting AGAIN!! I went back in and I was told it would be fixed. Fast forward to today, I went to remove the cases on both iPads and the screens cracked with no effort at all. I did not want to go back here. I found another place to fix my iPads FOR LESS MONEY AND THEY WERE READY IN THREE HOURS. The new place showed me the old screens, and it was obvious cheap parts were used AND IQ SMARTPHONE USED SUPER GLUE ON MY IPADS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since super glue was used, the frames of my iPads had to be replaced as well. Luckily, the new place didn't charge me extra. I will tell all my friends to never come here. I was here about two or three months ago and this review is a little late but I must say THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! I recommend this place to everyone I know who needs work done because of how great the service is and even better, how honest and nice the people who work here are. Seriously, the couple that own this store went above and beyond to fix my S4's broken screen/ digitizer. I am so grateful to them for fixing this extension of my hand. I am whole again! Here's the back story: I went to a friend's wedding and dropped my phone after one to many drinks. I know what you're thinking... "DUH, dummy!" But it was a wedding! Anyway, my phone would not turn on later that evening and I assumed that the battery had died. The next morning, after charging my phone through the night, I panicked after seeing that my screen would not light up. My initial thought was to go back and try to review everything I did. I remember dropping the phone so I took a closer look to see if there were any damages. Low and behold, I cracked the screen and the digitizer when I dropped my phone the day before. BLAH! Lesson learned: put phone away when drinking excessively with friends and let them take pictures instead :) I called around and IQ Smartphone had the best price for my S4 and I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I drove there after my initial call and dropped off my phone. The turn around time was super duper quick and I had another phone from my workplace so I wasn't completely shut off from the rest of the world. I don't know how we all survived without these cell phones before. Sometimes I forget my wallet at home or my keys when friends are driving, but I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THE PHONE. When I received my phone back, it was like it was never broken nor were we ever separated. They even gave my phone a free screen protector and the best part was that it was already placed on the screen! WITHOUT BUBBLES! Seriously, I can't do it myself without getting at least one bubble with a piece of lint stuck underneath and it is always so annoying to look at. I appreciated that additional effort because some places could care less. The couple also asked if I wanted a case on the house to protect my phone because I didn't have one on when I dropped the phone off, but I did have one so I declined. Really, the nicest people in the world! I can tell they really care about their customers and want everyone to have a positive experience when visiting their store. So glad to have found this place and I really hope I don't have to come back for a repair, but if I ever do go to another wedding and break any part of my phone again, I will definitely be back here to have it fixed! It happened to be the one time out of many times I accidently dropped my phone when the inevitable happened, my iPhone screen shattered. I literally thought I broke my phone at the severity of the cracks and showed up to work super sad thinking that it would cost me a leg and a arm to fix it. I had the screen of my phone replaced because it was totally cracked after I dropped it on the street. It took 2 hours for replacement, which was longer than I expected. The screen is clean and everything looks good now, but I give three stars because I had a couple of issues afterwards. My new(?) phone got really HOT, not warm, HOT!! when I charged, googled, or watched something on Youtube. It happened like this a couple of times a day for a couple of days. So I was worried that it might explode. And also I was not able to log into my bank account. This place is fantastic. I have a purple samsung galaxy 4 and it's so difficult sometimes to find someone who can fix a purple screen. The guy told me to put down a ten dollar deposit so he could order me a screen off ebay. Within a few weeks he called me to let me know it came in and I gave him my phone. It only took a few hours and he did a perfect job. He fixed the screen and gave me a screen cover! Point of the review is, he communicates well, does great work, and for a cheap price. So I have used IQ Smartphone probably 3-4 times now majority of the times because my son has broke his screen & to fix my speaker on my work phone. Every time Ken the owner or whoever is working but mainly Ken has always done a great job fixing the issues for a great price & it usually only takes about 1hr at the most. Ken is very friendly & hooked it up with screen protectors & other accessories that I also needed after he fixed the issues. I did not get anything fixed here, but I went along with my sister when she got her iPhone 6 fixed. Her phones screen was completely cracked, but they fixed it perfectly in only 45 minutes ($109) Not only were they good at fixing her phone screen, but they were also very kind. I really wanted to like this place, I really did. I was pleased with the quick quote response and repair time but immediately after picking my phone up to use it I noticed my screen was overly sensitive to touch compared to before. I will attempt to tap an app or type to text and my screen acts as if I'm pressing and holding the screen? Then, a little over a week later, my screen froze to a warped/glitchy greenish color for about 10 minutes before I was able to restart it. I'm not sure what is wrong with my phone now? I've tried to adapt to the new sensitivity but it becomes quite annoying at times. Maybe I was just a one-off, but it is still disappointing. read more
