We each got our nails done and honestly if the experience was like this back home I'd get my nails done way more often! The nail techs were ready for us when we got there even on Christmas Eve Eve. My mom was seated first, then me 3 minutes later then my SIL 2 minutes after me. I'm not chatty at all when I get these services done and I loved the way my tech was on that wave too. Mom and SIL love to talk and were deep in convo with their techs. The manicure itself was thorough - my insolent cuticles were tamed and removed with ease - and the polish job itself was great. I mostly avoid manicures because I chip the polish in 24 hours but here we are 5 days later and my fingers still look like shiny disco balls. Why I would return: -comfortable seating at the nail tables. Sturdy with room for ample bottoms -friendly and efficient service. There is NO NEED to be at a nail salon for hours. We were out in 45 min max including dry time. -welcoming reception. I love seeing my people when I'm out and she was very warm and inviting. So much so when I told people where we went to get our nails done they asked if she was working. -good job on the polish. Clean lines, no smudge, long/lasting. -NO CHEMICAL SMELLS. From a customer side this was nice - I'm sure from an employee side it's even better. -Super clean and modern. Sometimes nail shops can be worn down. It's clear this place is investing in the space - which makes a nicer work environment and experience for all.

I decided to try You & Co Nails when the nail salon near me closed. It is a cute, clean, welcoming…read morenail salon located just South of the main square in Lincoln Square. Appointments: They are an incredibly busy nail salon, so I highly recommend making an appointment if you're thinking about getting a service done. They do take walk-ins, but you may have to wait. Service: I have now been to You & Co 4 times. Interestingly, I have learned that my experience differs quite a bit depending on the tech I get. The first time I visited was in the summer because I had a gift certificate. Sadly, my first time was not a great experience. I told the tech that I had ingrown toe nails. She did take care of it, but within a day, my toenail was infected, was painful, and had pus coming out. I almost didn't return. Then, when my salon closed, I decided to give You & Co another shot, since they have overwhelmingly positive reviews, and my first experience could have been a fluke. I wish I got the name of my nail tech for this second one because she did such an incredible job. My gel mani and pedicure were meticulously done, and my no-chip lasted for over 3 weeks. The third time, I had a guy, who was also meticulous. However, he recommended no more than 2 coats on my gel manicure. I get the reasoning so that my nails don't look thick, but unfortunately, my nails started chipping in less than a week. My pedicure lasted for over a month though! The last time I went in December, they were really informative in helping me with some fun holiday nails. I opted for the cat eye nail polish, which I loved. What I generally appreciate about You & Co is that they are quick but mostly detail-oriented. If you're busy, this is great.

The "quick service" approach suggests that money is the priority, not the customer. What a shame! I'm incredibly disappointed. Tell me, how am I supposed to come back a third time when I'm so angry about this waste of time and money? You need to fix your problems. Your tools need to be updated, or your staff lacks experience. Or just close the shop altogether. My skin is also irritated. I'm not going back, and I should get a refund? . Some months back I left an enthusiastic review about this place. I've been back several times and…read morehave always been happy. Until today. The nail tech, (Nam) doesn't speak English but pretends to.This is particularly annoying because she can't follow instructions. $70 mani pedi. Both were half-assed. Pedi: After cutting my nails, I asked her if she could go shorter safely- without making them too short. She nodded and cut the big toenail so short she drew blood. This is when I suspected she couldn't understand me. No massage, scrub cream was applied to my legs and then rinsed off-no scrubbing. No real attempt to get rid of calluses. Mani-my nails are on the shorter side and I just wanted them to all be the same length and shape. I had to correct her several times because she wasn't following those simple instructions. Some of my nails ended up lopsided anyhow. No hand massage, no lotion and sloppy polish application. I had to ask her to redo several nails. When she's done, she takes me to the drying table, tells me how long to wait and starts to leave. Until I call her back to turn the drying fan on. (I couldn't find the switch). She stomped off, never to be seen again. I had to ask one of the other techs to bring my bag and shoes over, because she didn't. This was very disappointing.

I cannot recommend Flawless more highly. I decided to splurge and treat myself to a spa mani/pedi…read morewhich after the long year that was January 2025 was very necessary. I was able to schedule an appointment with Vanidy for the next day using the Vagaro app. The only issue I had with the app was if you want multiple services that aren't already bundled (i.e. if you wanted a regular manicure and a spa pedicure) then you have to book two separate appointments. Also there's a discrepancy on how much the no-chip upgrade costs (website says $25 but Vagaro says $30; I believe it is $30). I was one of the first appointments of the day, so it was quiet and everything was gleaming. Vanidy got my pedicure chair ready first before having me sit down, which I appreciated. The chair was more modern and the massage feature was clutch. Vanidy was very thorough and treated my feet and legs with care. I opted to add the extra 10 minute massage, which was worth every second. I wish there had been a little more attention on the feet, but having the pressure relief in my calves was needed and appreciated. When we switched to the manicure station, I was pleased to see the furniture was more midcentury than a typical nail salon; made it feel cozier. Again, Vanidy had everything laid out for me and was again so thorough. In recent manicures at other salons, I've had to ask the nail techs to clean up spots where they left polish on my skin or hadn't painted all the way to the end of the nail, but not so with Vanidy. I was pleasantly surprised to get booties and warmer mittens on my hands during the paraffin wax treatment, and I practically melted being so relaxed. My hands were baby soft, which feels like a miracle in this cold winter. I am obsesed with both my mani and pedi and can't stop looking at them. I've been texting friends about Flawless and encouraging them to go, and plan on taking my friend here when she visits in March. While it's pricier than what I normally can pay for nails, I will absolutely be back when I next need a splurge.

I went in for a pedicure and a no-chip French tip. When I left, I wasn't completely satisfied the tips were a bit crooked and too thin, and the French base was more milky white instead of the neutral pink I prefer. I didn't say anything at the time because I'm pretty shy, and I didn't want to come off bratty. After showing my nails to a friend, she encouraged me to call and get them fixed. I was hesitant because I didn't want to come off as someone who complains, but I'm really glad I did. The receptionist was incredibly sweet, super apologetic, understanding, and accommodating,. She encouraged me to come back in and insisted they could fix them . When I returned, another nail tech gladly fixed my nails exactly how I wanted them. Not once did anyone make me feel uncomfortable or like I was being difficult. They were kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming the entire time!!!!!! Great customer service makes all the difference, and they really delivered!!!!! I truly appreciate how they handled everything . I was super happy!!!!! Definitely recommend this place!

Nothing fancy, just needing help with getting everything sorted after lots of yard work and that day needed to be at my hospitality job. As of today, 8/29, exactly one month after, both my left toenail is deeply ingrown and painful because of the shape it was cut, that I asked to keep the sides not rounded, but while I got my manicure, my nail bed and cuticle was clipped into so deeply it would not stop bleeding that the nail itself is damaged at the base. I am very sure the tech working that day knows exactly who I am. She hyper focused on my bleeding middle finger and I said "please just do the left hand for now, I have already been here far longer than expected and have to be at my job soon." She apologized profusely but kept using painful oils and alcohols that stung deeply on the cut. This is to say, I offered to pay BEFORE my nail treatment so I did not have to dig into my purse after. So for $72, I also left a $30 venmo tip to her. None of it was ever offered to be refunded. I did not have any time left to speak about wanting a refund, and was kindly accepting of her apologies, but now that a month later, my left toenail is still in pain is why not only do I want any type of a refund but will also warn others about going here. The fact that a nail paint color would be used on my nail with an open wound and the bottle placed back on the shelf for later use (I hope she threw it away?) is heads up enough. I would like any type of refund from this place. I, again, had zero time left to sit there and wait for the situation to be remedied that day, did my job limping along and a bandaid on my finger, and flew out of town shortly thereafter.

I've been searching up and down high and low around every corner for **my perfect nail salon** --…read moreand I didn't find it in Get Nail'd. Overall, my experience here was fine. As you can see in the photos, the salon is beautiful. I asked the owner and she said they've been open 2 years in that location (so I was surprised they weren't on Yelp!). I went in for a dip manicure (which is hard to find around here, WHY!?). I didn't have an appointment. They quoted me a 20 minute wait, which was fine, and I sat in a pedicure chair while I waited so I got a little back massage! A few things: 1 - The colors were organized so nicely on the wall but were really limited. It wasn't until I was looking for 5+ minutes when the woman working told me there was a book with more colors. 2 - This was the fastest dip manicure I've ever had in my life. It wasn't a bad thing. In fact, I don't enjoy sitting at salons forever waiting for my nails to be done. But the shaping of the nails is a bit funky, they look like bubbles, and it's thick. She clearly rushed through getting them done. They look fine though, overall. But if they were trying to close or just couldn't take me, I would've found another place to go to. 3 - The cost was $50. I did not get lotion or a massage or anything. It was a no frills service, which again, was fine for me this time around. But I don't think I found **my place** yet.

I continued giving them chances despite a couple disappointing experiences in the past, but after today I've decided I won't be returning. I went in for my usual gel manicure and regular pedicure. During the manicure, the technician suggested trying something "new" after applying the normal coats of polish. She tested it on one nail and asked if I wanted it on the rest. At no point was I told there would be an additional charge, and it was presented as part of the manicure experience, not as upgraded nail art. When I checked out, I was charged an extra $15 for what they called "artwork." I was surprised because the additional cost was never mentioned beforehand or approved by me. If a service costs extra, customers should be clearly informed before it's done. What was most disappointing was the response when I questioned it. Instead of acknowledging the lack of communication, I was basically told that was just the price. As a long-time customer, that felt dismissive and frustrating. This was also not my first negative experience here. On a previous visit, I ended up leaving with only clear polish after being unhappy with the quality of the service, yet I was still charged full price. The issue is not simply the extra $15. It's the repeated lack of transparency, poor customer service, and feeling like customer concerns are brushed aside rather than addressed.
