Withering heights
Stephanie B.

Came here to see the movie withering heights and love the touch of blankets at each seat and the free WiFi available. However, it took forever to get a drink at the bar and the service in the theater was rather slow. The food menu is overpriced and none of the food is fantastic so I would recommend eating somewhere else beforehand.

Yes it's pricier than a "normal" movie theater...but some things are just worth it...and an Ipic movie watching experience is one of those things. The parking garage is super convenient in downtown Delray (normally a parking nightmare) and they give a less expensive rate when you park third floor and above. The interiors of the lobby are full of cool art and seating and it probably is a nice chill place for a cocktail at their lobby bar. We usually get our cocktail at our seat in the theater! They had a sale recently for the annual membership so I signed up and now we get free member popcorn and a discount on our food and drink tab when we go. In addition to other rewards and perks through the year (like a free ticket in your birthday month). The best part of Delray iPic is the seating...little cozy two people "pods" just secluded enough so that you don't have to see or hear your neighbors. The seats recline and have a cozy blanket waiting for you to use while there. We have always had excellent servers take our orders before the movie, bring out the food and drink in a timely fashion and discreetly drop the check at the end. They will also remind you when it's last call to order anything else before the movie ends. For food I am in love with their spicy tuna crispy rice. For cocktails I like to try their seasonal specials!

I love this place for a movie! Reclining loveseats, full bar, a decent menu, amazing (clean) bathrooms, and great service too.

Beautiful entrance. Bathroom is upstairs. Elevator and escalator available. Parking is easy but you must pay. You can validate your parking ticket inside. The chairs are all recliners with cup holders and have an ipic towel to use as a blanket. The side chair recliners are for two and are a bit private. No one around you can see you from their seat. You can also order food and eat in the theater.

IPic has always been the best way to enjoy a movie. Comfy seats and blankets! If you're a gold member, you do get two free popcorns. We had old fashions at the bar and then during the movie. Well made and delicious. The only disappointment was the fact that we were not able to customize the charcuterie. We wanted no meats on the board but was told they could not do that. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Something strange happen the other day when I was watching super Mario with the kid and the wife so after the movie I notice my walker was missing I came back look with a co worker and no body can find it I called the next day no body can find it so I came to the theaters again the next morning I went in the #2 D10 there was a co worker he ask me am I looking for a wallet I said yes I show him where I was sitting he took the chair apart and find my wallet so fast and boom $200 cash is missing but all my credit cards and ID are there I want to see if any body can reach out and check the camera and see who took my money I found my wallet cool but where my money

This is the only way we would go to the movies. Very comfortable seats, clean, great service. Most of the other guests are also well behaved and the movies we see are enjoyable. Very modern and chic decor. Very clean bathrooms. Great for date nights!

IPIC is the only way I'll watch movies now. Feels private, upscale, and way more comfortable than a regular theater. Parking's close, the staff is friendly, and the food blows everything else out of the water. Get the nachos--they say they're for sharing, but trust me, you'll want them all to yourself. The seats are huge, super comfortable, and come with a pillow. Nothing else compares.

Went here with my Girl and was planning to buy some food and drinks but when we got to our seats the cup holder was greasy and it had garbage under it. I thought no big deal I'll just see if someone has a sanitation wipe or if someone can come clean the cup holders and table. When we went to the bathroom, I spotted 2 employees and asked if they could help me. The women sent him to check with someone I gave him my theater and seat number and he said he will be there in a bit. Nobody came and I didn't order food because I didn't want to eat at a dirty table with a dirty cupholder. So me and my girl sat through avatar which is a 3 hour movie without eating or drinking.

Super pretty theatre. Tandoori chicken skewers very tasty. Truffle fries delicious. Popcorn was a little cold. Pizza and bison burger good. Good prices.

Nice service from when you walk into the establishment, while ordering items, and up until you leave. The pods and reclining chairs sets the mood for the theater and the blankets provided adds to the ambiance of watching a movie. The food was tasty and not like typical movie theater food, and the truffle parmesean popcorn was extra yummy!

Going to the movies isn't as popular as it used to be with all the streaming services available in our homes, but ipic will make you want to bring back movie night! This location is perfect because it's located in delray right off the ave. I love to take a walk and then make a movie a night end to my night. The overall ambiance is incredible and so hip. They have swinging chairs, couches, high tops, and a huge bar. There is also happy hour, so you should definitely come early and grab a drink or a bite before the showing. The theater itself is awesome. Comfortable seats that recline, service from where you are sitting available all throughout the film, and a cold temperature so you can snuggle up in a jacket! Whether you're looking to have a night out with friends or go on a relaxing date, find the next showing of a movie that sparks your interest and get out of the house!

Clean and trendy. This theater is very nice but it is up there in price. We like to save this theater when we feel like treating ourselves. You come into the theater and there's little pods that seat two people. There is a QR code that you scan to get the menu, and the server comes over and takes your order. Everything flows very well and the servers cause very minimal interruptions once the movie starts. They come to drop things off and check in on you a couple of times, but it was not disturbing while we watched the movie. We had a great time!

Overall, it was a nice night out, but not something I'd rush back to do again. The highlight of the evening for me was hands-down the food. Absolutely delicious! It was served buffet style with a clear Caribbean theme--chicken, pork, ravioli, rice and peas, bread rolls, and plantains. Every bite was full of flavor, and the meal honestly outshined the show. As for the performance itself... it was definitely on the cheesy side. The acting left me unsure if it was intentionally exaggerated to be funny, or just awkward. The murder storyline felt a little confusing, and the clues didn't really connect for me. I found myself more lost than intrigued. All in all, I'd say it was a fun one-time experience. I'm glad I finally tried it, but it's not something I'd personally do again. Escape rooms are much more my speed... I enjoy those way more! Ohh!! I also didn't like that fact their bar was cash only! These days, not many people carry cash like they used to. This was a big fail for me... If they don't have a credit card machine, these many other options they could've used (cashapp, zelle, etc.)

If you order food, snacks or dinner it will definitely add to your total. The food however is great, I've been here a few times and have gotten different items each time, and loved it. Seating is first come first served. Once you check in the staff will escort you to your table, they mange how the room fills up so you don't have to cause chaos trying to figure where to go. The club is spacious, and dimly lit, but still easy to maneuver. There also is a very strict no camera policy, for obvious reasons. It was a great one time experience but I probably would not go again. Check in went smoothly and as you are checking in, there were some appetizers being served, which were absolutely delicious. However, I do wish there were little picks or tongs to use to pick up the appetizers versus everyone using their hands. As you enter, there is salad and bread already at the table, which was good, you can't go wrong with that. Then you are given about 10 minutes to mingle and "interrogate" others at the start of the show. Which was a bit confusing at first because there were no instructions, no performance or anything to give us an inclination to what the crime we are solving might be, and many people were just shy about approaching others and talking. When people started talking, I also noticed it was one of those things where they weren't sure if they should answer truthfully or in character. That was really the only time guest were doing individual interrogations and interacting with others not at their table. Throughout the dinner, there were 3 Acts where different clues were presented. First, I would like to start off by saying all of the staff both actors and servers were great, very professional and nice. The actors were great however, the overall acts were a bit chaotic. There was an option to purchase a suspect package at an extra cost. Which would result in someone at your table being a part of the acts as a suspect. Which was a fun/funny experience. However, those portions seemed a lot like improv and had nothing to do with the actual scenario. The actors also tried to get the various guest involved by choosing individuals to complete reenactments and do task as a table (drawing a suspect, writing all the alias of the table members). Again these task, had nothing to do with the actual scenario and did not help with solving the crime. They felt more like time fillers. However, they did add some funny moments into the night. Okay, solving of the crime. Personally I was very lost. In order to solve the crime, you had to know/understand some specific pop culture references. Which I personally did not. So even with all the clues presented and the acts, I was very lost. The ages of the guest varied from teenagers to older adults. However, with a majority of the guest ranging from 50-70 years of age, so I understand the pop culture reference being older however, I think the overall show would be better if the references were more universally geared. Or if there were no pop culture references and all the facts needed were presented somehow. The food. Personally, I felt as if the portion sizes were good for the price and I left the show full. I personally liked that there were a variety of options available. They even had a vegetarian option which I was grateful for, however, no vegan options. The portion sizes for the vegetable lasagna were large, however, the food was served kind of cold. It still tasted good. But nothing amazing. Overall the decor was minimal. There was plain table cloth and table numbers at each table. One of the two detectives had a police vest on. I thought I read somewhere that there might be sound effects. However, the show didn't have any. The actors did not have any mics and there was no music or light effects. At the end of the show, if you wrote a Google review, you were given a free shot glass in exchange.
