This is my go to movie theater located at the Promenade in Coconut Creek. This theater is a great place to watch a movie. The seats are very comfortable, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the film. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and cozy, creating a pleasant experience from the moment you walk in. The sound and picture quality are excellent. I saw the new Michael Jackson movie in a special theater with Dolby surround sound. The employees are friendly and helpful. It's a good theater to go to with friends, family, or even by yourself. It is always clean and fully staffed. The app makes it easy to reserve seats plus order food and drinks right to your seat. Been to this theater numerous times and I've always liked it. They keep it clean, it's organized, and definitely a unique movie theater set up. It definitely gives luxurious vibes. I will say, the reason I gave it a 4 star review is because first of all, they don't allow you to order everything on the menu via the QR code at your seat, and 2, the seats done recline. Let's talk about the food first. I love this place because they have a full bar/restaurant in the entrance of the theater. You can just go and eat/drink without seeing a movie which is cool, while you can also order the food/drinks and have them delivered to your seat if you're watching a movie. They then also have regular movie theater concessions which you can go and buy yourself or you can go sit at your seat in the theater and either a server will come up to you and take your order or you can scan the QR code and order. I recommend ordering with the server because like I mentioned previously, some stuff doesn't show up via the QR code. Also, I think their drinks are slightly overpriced for what you're getting. They're charging $10-$15 for a drink as if it's this nice fancy cocktail but it shows up lack luster. The seats are super big and comfy, but like I said, I just wish they reclined. So last minute date night thanks to my hubby. We went to check out the movies Sinners and wanted to try this location out because I rarely do movie theatres especially since moving far from my spot. Well upon arrival the lobby was clean and was greeted. We got there in a good time so we could order our food. We had hot meals which were angus sliders with fries and nachos. 2 large drinks. The pricing was not bad and love how they brought us our food it really gave date night. The chair were deep but comfy just need to update so chairs. Came to see Wicked with a large group. Tried calling about group pricing and couldn't really get a hold of the group person to have a conversation of options others than renting out the whole theater. Online you can only purchase 10 tickets at a time so if you need more, you have to be strategic and place multiple orders with your seats connecting. As for this trip to the theater, the service was friendly and came over to take our orders promptly. While they advised us there was a delay for concessions and the kitchen, most items came out much quicker than quoted. However a couple people were still waiting for popcorn almost half way through the movie (it's almost 3 hours long). The popcorn we received wasn't quite as good/fresh as it was last time. Also getting loaded nachos to eat in the dark, I'd probably advise against. Besides messy, hard to ensure you're evenly eating your nachos and toppings. read more

Enjoyed my time here . This location is really nice and offers alot of food options . The theatre does allow you to order food while watching the film and drinks . You can purchase tickets online or at the front kiosk (touch screen ) if needed . The seats can use a little upgrading which , with a busy industry can be hard . But making sure it's clean and operational is always key to a good time and event for some one . The staff was very welcoming and attentive . This movie theater is an excellent choice for a grown ups night out. The theater has a beautiful ambiance with a full bar. They also offer service to your seat for food and both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages which is awesome because who wants to miss part of the movie for a refill! The bar drinks were very strong and tasty and the bartenders are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the Raspberry Lemon Drop Signature Cocktail! The theater is in the perfect location for the night life! The area has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from for a follow-up to movie night! Silver Spot is always my selection when I movie-go! The only thing is that ground level parking is extremely limited and you may have to park in the garage directly across from the theater, but no biggie! read more

I went here to see a movie with a group. I love the layout upon entering as there is a bar area. I found our theater to be clean and spacious. The staff were attentive while taking our orders and getting us our food and drinks. I only wished there were reclining seats to be more comfortable. I also found it odd that the restrooms were located beyond the ticketed area. All in all I enjoyed my experience here but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

Cute place for a date, nice sized bar once you walk in. We haven't eaten here. The theater is also in a good location surrounded by a few restaurants and clothing stores. Parking is pretty easy. The years have not been kind to this theater. I came here to see In the Heights with my friend who asked me. I tried to suggest somewhere else but we had limited time and it was nearby. Every other theater in the area has added reclining seats but they still hang on to the same ones that they had when they opened. Even the posters hanging on the wall show reclining seats at the other Silverspots. When I went to sit down, the seats and tray table were not clean. I had to wipe off off everything my self. At least they are roomy. They still have a full bar and food that you can have brought to your seat. Everything is very expensive. I would rather just grab a drink and eat at one of the nearby restaurants in the Promenade. The best thing they have going for them is their location in the Promenade, a place that has a lot of shopping and dining but this is the only entertainment. If you want to grab dinner and a movie it is convenient but I would rather be laying back at an AMC any day. read more

This is a mixed review. I am a bit of a neat freak, so when I walk in to the first viewing of the day and the theater is dirty, that skeeves me out. All of the nooks and crannies had remnants from prior guests, and the tray next to my seat actually had a full piece of popcorn. It was very evident that the theater was not cleaned at all the night before, or at best, very sloppily. The chairs were comfortable, but don't recline. The ticket price was super reasonable for a matinee at $10 per adult ticket. The popcorn was $10 for a large and was really excellent. Fresh, buttery, and not overly salted. Some of the best popcorn I've ever had. They also have very good food options, including a delicious chicken quesadilla. They used to have a beat the clock happy hour that was one of the best in the whole county, but have switched up the deals and it is no longer worth it. Food and snacks are good, prices reasonable, need some help with cleaning if they want more stars. Overall, not bad if you're close but I would prefer any AMC theater if I had a choice. read more

First time at this movie theater and I was surprise by how clean the facility was . Staff was also very helpful when I needed to print out my tickets . I loved that they had a bar with real food and drinks to order . While we ordered Snacks we noticed the line was also not that crowded like at other places. Once we went in to the see the Movie we immediately noticed the chairs and how soft they were, and comfortable. This place is definetly a 10/10 . We've been to this theater several times and have not had an issue but tonight's leadership left much to be desired. Was here for Wicked and the volume was obnoxiously loud. Went to staff and asked if there was anything they could do. They approached a manager who was socializing at the bar - Todd. Todd appeared pretty disinterested and actually annoyed to be interrupted. He told the staff to go to the back room and ask whoever was in there to make an adjustment. Nothing changed in the theater. 20 minutes later I went back out and noticed a manager in the empty restaurant. He looked irritated as I approached him so I asked if he was ok. He said he was so I asked if he could do anything about the volume. He said, "It's really that loud?" I said yes though I was thinking no I just wanted to miss more of the movie I paid for. Then I asked for his name. He responded by asking my name and not answering me. He must've missed the customer service training SILVERSPOT provides. He was unnecessarily rude and made a quick simple interaction a major turnoff and I'll definitely find other options in the future for movies. read more

Theater is deceiving with the self-service kiosks and bar in the front but a refresh is definitely in order. First, not sure why there's a tip line on the receipt for the concessions stand, maybe ownership should increase the hourly rate for their employees. Second, the carpets could use some cleaning and general maintenance. Third, the seats are clearly not cleaned in between shows with popcorn and trash stuffed between the seats that make way too much racket just sitting in them. And last but not least the arm rests were dirty with some unidentifiable substance stuck on them which resulted in us trying to avoid laying our arms down. Overall a very uncomfortable experience and not worth the value. Will not return and do not recommend. Maybe other locations have better management or ownership that actually cares about their customers. read more

I was expecting a 5 star experience here but obviously I expected too much. The aesthetics of this movie theater would lead you believe you're about to have a great night. My complaint is regarding the food service. I ordered a simple loaded nachos and coke; I received the coke because it was given to me at the counter at the time of purchase, and told the nachos would be delivered to my seat, which is supposed to be the hype here; orders being delivered to your seat. We ordered the food at 8:46pm, the movie started at 9pm. Movie started, and I started seeing orders coming and even orders being taken. Growing anxious and hungry, 9:15 passed, then 9:30. At that time I went back to the concession stand and made them aware that I had not received my order, I was told not to worry, they were running a bit behind, but the order would be delivered soon. Again, back in my seat, it was now 9:45, still no food. Again, I walked back to the concession stand and let them know I still have not received anything. I was then offered some popcorn and told the nachos should be delivered soon, not to worry, and to make a request for a refund once the movie was over. At the same time, I was told "the movie began at 9 PM, that's when the food started being prepared, and the movie was to last an hour and a half so I still had time." Time to be disappointed I guess because the food never came, the movie came to an end and now I was hungry with a headache. Yes, I was issued a refund for the nachos and soda, but I'm mad that I spent $30 for 2 tickets just to sit there and gain a headache. I could have stayed home and watched movies for free minus the headache. This type of service really makes me want to stay indoors and not even chance wasting my money. I will not be back. This is a great set up with a lot of potential. There is a double-sided bar near the entrance that offers drinks and food from the theater menu. So this is a convenient spot to have a few drinks and some snacks for a bit before your movie starts. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and the tequenos. The tequenos exceeded my expectations: the cheese was deliciously dense and buttery and flavorful. Very rich. The sweet chili sauce it came with paired very nicely for dipping. I wish I could tell you that the chicken quesadilla was good, but it was not. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Even worse, there was not nearly enough cheese in the quesadilla. Between the lack of cheese and the dry chicken, the quesadilla was really disappointing. Quesadillas are very simple to make; this is really just a matter of properly training someone in the kitchen and revisiting portion size and quality control to make a few easy improvements. Ensure that the chicken is tender and not being overcooked, then add more cheese and make sure the tortilla is crispy but not burned (my tortilla was dark brown and on the cusp of being burned, most likely from sitting on the flattop too long). The servers that take food orders in the theaters never showed up in our theater; we had to walk out to the snack bar to place our order. The margaritas that I had were great and the seats in the theater are very comfortable (probably the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a movie theater). High marks for a decent menu and a full bar with great drinks. Servers need a little more training and the food should be fresher. All in all, this is still a great theater with a lot to offer and I appreciate this space as it is. read more

Silverspot makes moviegoing a great experience. We showed up for the 3:45 showing of House of Gucci in which there was no crowd. We started off at the bar with a double rum and Coke. The bartender made it nice and strong. The seating is very comfy and accommodating for food and drinks. Each seat has a barcode bringing up the full menu/ordering on your phone. Food can be delivered to your seat if ordered before the movie starts. There are so many fine dining options in the Promenade so we held off, though appetizers look tempting for future adventures. The cinema is very clean, upscale and cozy. Parking is easy and the staff are all pleasant. read more

I've been going here for years. I have always had a good experience, but my most recent visit my mother and I watched a movie in theater 1 and came home with hives on our backs. As soon as we sat down in our seats we both felt a crawling sensation but stayed anyway to watch the movie. My guess is ants from food or bedbugs. I ended up at the Silverspot Cinema with my wife and Nancy M. after purchasing tickets for Joni 75 that was scheduled to show on February 7th at 7:00 at select theaters around the country. Located in the Promenade, it is perfect; park once, go to dinner and walk right to the theatre. OR......... Get to the Silverspot early and enjoy their beautiful bar which you can see as soon as you walk in and take in their Happy Hour with drinks and food before your movie. This is the first theatre that I ever saw that actually has a full bar with food as part of the theatre. Good reason to pass up the hot dogs and pretzels. Still can't skip the popcorn, which is as great as any theatre popcorn. The theatre is really beautiful, in fact it really did not give me that regular movie theatre feeling. It even has a sitting area near the bar that looks like a lobby of a 5 Star hotel. The seating has large cushy seats with a table and cup holders to have dinner, snacks or drinks which can be ordered right off the Silverspot App on your phone if you download it. The seats do not recline, but I did not have a problem with that. I was loving the comfort. Although we had dinner at a nearby restaurant, I would of enjoyed ordering dinner here and to eat during the movie. The key to the whole experience is really to get the app, pre order the tickets, enjoy Happy Hour and pre order dinner to be delivered to the seats.
