Disappointing experience at IPIC Mizner Park. I've been an IPIC member since 2014 and have always enjoyed the premium experience, which made this visit even more frustrating. The theater was uncomfortably hot--around 80 degrees--from the start of the movie. We notified staff immediately and were told we would receive a credit for the inconvenience. Based on that information, we stayed and sat through the entire movie. At no point were we told that we needed to leave the theater to receive a refund or credit. After the movie, Manager Alex was dismissive, rude, and condescending. Rather than acknowledging the confusion, he insisted that everyone had been told they could leave for a refund, which was not what we were told. Had that been clearly communicated, we could have made a different decision. What was most disappointing was the lack of customer service. A sincere apology or simple goodwill gesture would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling ignored and unappreciated despite being a loyal customer for more than a decade. read more

It's always a good movie experience at any IPIC theater. This time, we were at the Boca location. We made it just in time for trailers. Seats were clean and I always loved the clean sweet smell of the theater. Throw blankets were waiting for us as well. Our waiter came to us just as our movie started. Drinks and the charcuterie plate took about 20 mins. This has been the standard wait time, especially with a full theater. We had a great time and enjoyed our movie. read more

Hidden gem! For me at least! I've been in Boca around 3 or 4 years and I'm actually a frequent visitor at Mizner Park. But I didn't even realize this theater was here for the longest time. And it's really great! The auditoriums are sensational, they look great, they're clean and they have comfortable chairs and blankets so it's very enjoyable to watch a movie here. You could also order food from their extensive menu and have it delivered to your seat, which is great. The food is pretty good quality too, and for a movie theater it's unbelievably good. If you haven't seen a movie here I would strongly recommend checking it out. This place rules. Five stars! read more

I love the food on the menu and the opportunity to have a server bring all of your food before the movie starts or even during the movie. Tried IPIC and left feeling more frustrated than impressed. Yeah, it looks nice. The whole "luxury theater" thing sounds cool--reclining seats, food service--but once you actually experience it, you realize you're paying a premium for something that doesn't really deliver. $50 for two tickets already sets the tone. Then you order something simple--popcorn and a couple beers--and suddenly it's $80. That's not just expensive, that's excessive. At that point, it stops feeling like a treat and starts feeling like you're getting taken advantage of. And the experience doesn't match the price. The food wasn't anything special, service was inconsistent, and people walking around during the movie kinda kills the immersion. To make it worse, I ended up getting sick the next morning after eating there. Not saying 100% it was the food, but the timing definitely makes you question it. I wanted to like it, but it feels like you're paying for the idea of luxury, not the reality. For that kind of money, I expect something memorable--not something that makes me regret it the next day. Early Valentines Day movie - Anyone But You...Walked in to the ipic and immediately was greeted by the cashiers. Then took photos as we walked thru an amazing restaurant up the escalator to the ipic food and beverage area...Everything was visually perfect. We sat in plush leather seats right in the middle of the theatre. We were greeted by our waitress Susana. She was personable and made our movie dinner entertaining...We has the Boss Burger and Filet Mignon Sliders which both were amazing.. Will return again...Very Very good time. First time visiting an IPIC establishment for the Taylor Swift special movie premiere. Was I in for a surprise or what?! The plaza where IPIC Boca is located has a Statbuck, many restaurants, and shops. A complimentary self parking garage is directly behind the theater; street parking spaces are available with a fee or a limited free time of utilization. The lobby ambiance is classy, adjacent to the theater's sit-down restaurant; it was not super busy due to it was a weekday. The elevator is available; however, i took the escalator to the second floor to admire the gorgeous chandelier while heading to the movie screening rooms. Besides the film screening rooms, the second floor kitchen, coffee & liquor bar is where the magic happens for a quick preparation and delivery to guests as we enjoy the movie. The seats are comfortable in lazy boyz style with a blanket as the room gets a bit chilly. The restrooms are clean and decorative with amp stallsThe staff and managers are helpful and attentive since I was a bit lost as it was my first time at the IPIC! The food, snacks, and coffee were all on point! I had a pleasant experience, and it appears other movie goers did as well. I have never talked to a manager as rude as the one here. When we were told that 2 of us couldn't go in we obviously asked for a refund. At first they were only offering a refund for one of the tickets when all 3 were purchased together. I just wanted to watch a movie before my friend leaves for college and the manager yelled at me to get out. I later go back in, to put an adult on the phone and he then said we would not be receiving any money back in a very rude way and walked away. never coming back again. read more

I just enjoyed a great night at IPIC with friends. As always, it's a relaxing experience with excellent service, the most comfortable chairs, and blanket to use! I highly recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior to your actual movie start time to comfortably order and in most cases, receive your food before or during the previews. I LOVE popcorn and theirs is delicious and reasonably priced - $5 for a small (which I've seen at $7-$9 at other theaters). I tried the burrata margherita pizza (excellent), buffalo chicken spring rolls (excellent), warm pretzels (not my favorite). The one negative - in no way IPIC's fault - is that some people show up late and then talk, order, and use flashlights to see the menu during the movie. We had a group behind us who had continuous flashlights on during ordering and when their food arrived to be able to see their food. I don't recommend ordering a meal there if you're not comfortable eating in the dark or just utilizing the glow from the movie screen. There is a stated cutoff that if you're more than 20 minutes late, you won't be admitted to the screening - which makes sense in light of what I just described. We were really excited to try this theater last weekend. Service was good, snacks were good BUT tell me why a couple brought their two small children with them to a horror film?? The kids were talking thru the entire movie.....lots of people were annoyed and another person actually commented to the dad that a sitter is $15! We couldn't understand why the employees let the two very small children accompany their parents to this scary movie. Other than that our experience was really good! The Serena bar restaurant and bar was great!! A one man band was fantastic and we loved the ambience here! We will definitely be back!!! read more

This is absolutely my favorite movie theater ever. The staff is always excellent. They have fluffy blankets and recliner chairs. Their drinks are always delicious. Their food is also delicious. They definitely have the best chicken nachos I have ever had in my life, so they are definitely a must if you go. Their popcorn is always flavorful with the perfect amount of salt. I came to see gladiator 2 and overall the ambiance is very nice the staff is very friendly and they have a great bar area where you can drink and sit and chat before or after your movie which I loved the seating area the only thing was there was no hot food available when we went to see our movie they had some construction or renovations happening so the menu was limited. Also the bathrooms were kind of dirty as well other then that it is a nice place to go for a movie night with friends or family or a date night. read more

We love this theater at this particular location for various reasons. We love the garage is free for 3 hours! We love that we can stop by the downstairs restaurant and have some cocktails during their happy hour before the movie. We go for their VIP area with recliners where we order food and / or drinks. The service is usually on point. The food is nothing spectacular, just somewhat elevated bar food. This place is great for date night! read more

Zero stars! Went to see a movie at noon today, theater #6 Seat F9. Seat was dirty and blanket was old and looked used. Server was asked to clean the seat and she did with a smile. While waiting for her I was standing and looked over at the curtain, as there was a strange looking spot on it. IT WAS MOLD. I informed the server (her trainee) and she went to get a manager. The lead came back with the spray and I showed her the mold and she said what is that? She looked closer and was appalled. Manager, Alex walked up and I told and pointed to the spot and he responded, "I don't know what that is, you can change seats," then he walked away. I was like really? The mold circle had spores on it. This theater is disgusting and the manager was very unconcerned. I hope I can attach pictures. I will be calling the health department. The seats (recliner with a blanket) are very comfortable and they serve food and full bar. The one in Boca has a really nice restaurant on the first floor. This is my favorite movie theater but today from all days on mother's day was a huge disgrace. I went here with my kids and husband for mother's day to enjoy my special day and to my surprise it was extremely horrible. I have never experienced such bad service at this establishment before. Number 1 just to show you the type of service I am used to at this establishment I never had to press the button for a server to come and great us and ask us what we will like to order.Today we had to press the button when needing to order not a big deal but thats just the type of service I used to get. We ordered the food which took over 40 mins to come out. Second we asked the server twice for popcorn and it never came. Third the server never came back to take the empty plates never came back to check on us. Fourth the bathrooms were dirty, floors sticky, counter tops dirty and smelled horrible. When we got into the movie theater it was not clean I had to wipe my seats. I rated 2 stars because the food was still good so chefs are still doing their job. I am so extremely unhappy about this experience especially for my mother day. Hopefully management will see this and get this establishment to the way it was before. read more

Went to the IPIC Boca a few weeks ago. What was once a beautiful upscale theater has turned into low end trash. When we walked inside you immediately met with a bad smell, as if the sewage backed up. To make matters worse the lobby was stuffy and felt warm. One of the workers advised the A/C wasn't working properly, but they think it was fixed. My wife and I went up the escalator and I waited outside the theater while my wife used the restroom. When she came out my wife advised she needs to speak to the manager because the restroom was a disaster. No toilet paper in any stalls, paper and garbage all about the floor. She said it was disgusting. My wife explained this to the manager who's name slips my mind. The manager seemed disinterested and said "Oh, the bathroom was a mess again?" "Again?" How about making sure your employees do their job? I know it's a novel idea. But the manager seemed to preoccupied and disinterested. My wife and I then entered the theater and sat down. Apparently, the A/C was never fixed because it was very warm in the theater. I was literally perspiring. I went outside to talk to this same manager (black male around 30). I asked if the A/C was not working because the theater felt very warm. He said it was working, but he would walk in the theater to see. As he followed me along with another employee he pretended not to notice how warm the theater was. He actually said "I don't feel it being warm, but I'll check the thermostat." I watched this incompetent manager as he walked back to the popcorn machine to help serve and never checked the A/C. Needless to say, I was angry. Another employee, a young man, who was actually normal, saw my distress and asked my wife and I if everything was ok? I asked about the A/C and he said "I does feel warm. I'll go back now and check the A/C. I'll let you know." After about 10 minutes the young man came back and relayed that the A/C indeed wasn't working. The thermostat was on 75, but showed it was actually 80 inside the movie theater. So, the incompetent manager just flat out didn't want to be bothered. We left and went downstairs to get a refund. Between the broken A/C and bad smell It just wasn't a pleasant experience. While downstairs another employee got another manager for us. I asked for a refund and gave him my tickets. For about 10 minutes he was on the computer trying to figure out how to refund/credit my CC. This manager didn't say one word to us. You'd think any sane and reasonable manager would ask "was something wrong?", "Is there something I could help you with?", "why do you want a refund?", etc. The guy said not one word and gave me a receipt showing the credit. Incompetent, rude, there isn't enough adj's to describe these people. What was once a great place to see a movie has turned into nothing but a low end theater not worth the price. read more

I love it here. I don't think I can go to a regular movie theatre ever again. From the time you walk in you fill like you are in a 5 star hotel lobby. There is a restaurant and bar down stairs. Upstairs are the theaters and more bars. The plush comfy seats recline and a cozy blanket is placed on each seat to use during the movie. There are servers that come to your seat and take your order. Press the blue light when you need something else and they are very responsive. I didn't try the food since we went to brunch before, but the people next to us ate and the food looked delicious.
