Hidden gem! For me at least! I've been in Boca around 3 or 4 years and I'm actually a frequent visitor at Mizner Park. But I didn't even realize this theater was here for the longest time. And it's really great! The auditoriums are sensational, they look great, they're clean and they have comfortable chairs and blankets so it's very enjoyable to watch a movie here. You could also order food from their extensive menu and have it delivered to your seat, which is great. The food is pretty good quality too, and for a movie theater it's unbelievably good. If you haven't seen a movie here I would strongly recommend checking it out. This place rules. Five stars!

Ipic in Boca Raton is not your average movie theater- it's a full experience. Tickets are around $23 each, and seats must be purchased in advance, which makes sence given the limited and intimate seating. You choose your seat location when booking, and once inside you're greeted with cozy, relaxing space that feels like a private lounge then a typical movie theater. Each reclining chair comes with a plush throw blanket, and there's a call button between every two seats to summon a server. You can order drinks, meals, snacks and everything arrives quickly, usually before the movie begins. We saw Weapons, which definitely kept us on our toes with intense, suspenseful moments throughout. This place is perfect for date night or a special night out. Theaters like this are rare, and I can't wait to come back and catch another film here.

Clean, modern, comfortable seats. They give you a blanket, which is perfect for chilly movie theaters. Seats recline to a nice position. The staff is super friendly, easy to order, and there's a decent menu and food options for everyone. Nice variety of drink options as well!

I find myself coming to this movie theater whenever I want to go to the movies. I love the food on the menu and the opportunity to have a server bring all of your food before the movie starts or even during the movie. You don't have to stand in line and potentially risk missing the beginning of your movie for snack nor do you have to eat before coming to the movies. I love that the chairs are comfortable and lean back. The theater providers blankets so it feels intimate as if you are watching tv in your movie room at home. I love this Ipic.

Early Valentines Day movie - Anyone But You...Walked in to the ipic and immediately was greeted by the cashiers. Then took photos as we walked thru an amazing restaurant up the escalator to the ipic food and beverage area...Everything was visually perfect. We sat in plush leather seats right in the middle of the theatre. We were greeted by our waitress Susana. She was personable and made our movie dinner entertaining...We has the Boss Burger and Filet Mignon Sliders which both were amazing.. Will return again...Very Very good time. The bathrooms were spotless.

First time visiting an IPIC establishment for the Taylor Swift special movie premiere. Was I in for a surprise or what?! The plaza where IPIC Boca is located has a Statbuck, many restaurants, and shops. A complimentary self parking garage is directly behind the theater; street parking spaces are available with a fee or a limited free time of utilization. The lobby ambiance is classy, adjacent to the theater's sit-down restaurant; it was not super busy due to it was a weekday. The elevator is available; however, i took the escalator to the second floor to admire the gorgeous chandelier while heading to the movie screening rooms. Besides the film screening rooms, the second floor kitchen, coffee & liquor bar is where the magic happens for a quick preparation and delivery to guests as we enjoy the movie. The seats are comfortable in lazy boyz style with a blanket as the room gets a bit chilly. The restrooms are clean and decorative with amp stallsThe staff and managers are helpful and attentive since I was a bit lost as it was my first time at the IPIC! The food, snacks, and coffee were all on point! I had a pleasant experience, and it appears other movie goers did as well. Unfortunately, I don't have any IPIC theaters in the Kissimmee and Orlando region; time for the corporation behind IPIC to plan and expend in the Orlando region as seem like it would do well in comparison of other theaters in its category!

Ask the Community - IPIC Boca Raton

Are there any gluten free options on the food menu?

Yes there are gluten free on menu in movie theater, as well as a selection of keto plates.

Does anyone know what sort of attire is recommended? Has anyone seen people dressed, semi formal/fancy?

It’s a casual environment. Formal dress definitely is not required.

Calories in the veggie burger?

Don't worry about the calories. Skip the bread. Focus on the veggies. And enjoy the film. (I've never seen calorie count on any ipic food items)

Went to dinner detective in west palm beach with some coworkers the other night. For the price, it…read morewas a fun and different experience however, I expected it to be different. It was a great one time experience but I probably would not go again. Check in went smoothly and as you are checking in, there were some appetizers being served, which were absolutely delicious. However, I do wish there were little picks or tongs to use to pick up the appetizers versus everyone using their hands. As you enter, there is salad and bread already at the table, which was good, you can't go wrong with that. Then you are given about 10 minutes to mingle and "interrogate" others at the start of the show. Which was a bit confusing at first because there were no instructions, no performance or anything to give us an inclination to what the crime we are solving might be, and many people were just shy about approaching others and talking. When people started talking, I also noticed it was one of those things where they weren't sure if they should answer truthfully or in character. That was really the only time guest were doing individual interrogations and interacting with others not at their table. Throughout the dinner, there were 3 Acts where different clues were presented. First, I would like to start off by saying all of the staff both actors and servers were great, very professional and nice. The actors were great however, the overall acts were a bit chaotic. There was an option to purchase a suspect package at an extra cost. Which would result in someone at your table being a part of the acts as a suspect. Which was a fun/funny experience. However, those portions seemed a lot like improv and had nothing to do with the actual scenario. The actors also tried to get the various guest involved by choosing individuals to complete reenactments and do task as a table (drawing a suspect, writing all the alias of the table members). Again these task, had nothing to do with the actual scenario and did not help with solving the crime. They felt more like time fillers. However, they did add some funny moments into the night. Okay, solving of the crime. Personally I was very lost. In order to solve the crime, you had to know/understand some specific pop culture references. Which I personally did not. So even with all the clues presented and the acts, I was very lost. The ages of the guest varied from teenagers to older adults. However, with a majority of the guest ranging from 50-70 years of age, so I understand the pop culture reference being older however, I think the overall show would be better if the references were more universally geared. Or if there were no pop culture references and all the facts needed were presented somehow. The food. Personally, I felt as if the portion sizes were good for the price and I left the show full. I personally liked that there were a variety of options available. They even had a vegetarian option which I was grateful for, however, no vegan options. The portion sizes for the vegetable lasagna were large, however, the food was served kind of cold. It still tasted good. But nothing amazing. Overall the decor was minimal. There was plain table cloth and table numbers at each table. One of the two detectives had a police vest on. I thought I read somewhere that there might be sound effects. However, the show didn't have any. The actors did not have any mics and there was no music or light effects. At the end of the show, if you wrote a Google review, you were given a free shot glass in exchange.

I had higher expectations. Probably because they have a high rating on Google but now it makes…read moresense. They were giving out free shotglasses to people who showed them a 5 star review on Google before they left the show. Nothing was fantastic here. It was subpar and mediocre. I definitely applaud the actors for their performances but majority of the show seemed like improv. It was interactive so they did mingle with the guests and put them on the spotlight but it was really dragged out. We weren't sure why. If it was due to matching up the timing of the kitchen and food or if it was because they needed to drag out the allotted 3 hours. There was really only one acting scene that lasted 2 minutes. There were no other acting! Wish I knew that prior to coming. It was hard to figure out who the killer was because they give you a 10 minute break in the beginning to mingle with everyone and interrogate people. This doesn't work well with majority of the audience who came here for entertainment. It seemed like people didn't want to approach strangers and just talk. I think the hosts tried their best with the jokes they could come up with that weren't scripted and it did make me laugh here and there. The food was not good. I enjoy a dinner being waited on but the food was obviously mass produced and very dry and luke warm. The dinner came with water or self serve coffee or ice tea. If you wanted a soda, it was an additional $5 at the bar. I would tell everyone to save yourself the high ticket price as the show I attended lost its audience attention not even halfway through. My guest and I are in our 30's but the elderly couple sitting next to us in their 60-70's also said they were disappointed It was cheesy but now that I did it, I can share wi.th someone else to not waste their money on it.

I love this place. It really gives new meaning to "dinner and a movie." Honestly, the movie I saw was good, but that's almost secondary here. The real draw is the experience. Being served a full meal while sitting in a super comfortable recliner takes it to another level. I had the buttermilk fried chicken with maple syrup dipping sauce and sriracha ranch, along with fries, and it was all very tasty. I also like the brownie dessert they have. It's delicious. The theater itself is upscale and feels more like a luxury experience than your typical movie theater. I've been to other theaters that try to offer food service, some closer to this level and others that feel more like a regular theater that just happens to serve food. I definitely prefer the upscale version, and this place does it right. Service is handled well and doesn't distract from the movie, and they stop taking orders with about 45 minutes left, which I thought was a smart move. It is pricey, so I wouldn't go all the time, but once or twice a year it's a great treat and a really enjoyable experience.

Overall, it was a nice night out, but not something I'd rush back to do again. The highlight of the evening for me was hands-down the food. Absolutely delicious! It was served buffet style with a clear Caribbean theme--chicken, pork, ravioli, rice and peas, bread rolls, and plantains. Every bite was full of flavor, and the meal honestly outshined the show. As for the performance itself... it was definitely on the cheesy side. The acting left me unsure if it was intentionally exaggerated to be funny, or just awkward. The murder storyline felt a little confusing, and the clues didn't really connect for me. I found myself more lost than intrigued. All in all, I'd say it was a fun one-time experience. I'm glad I finally tried it, but it's not something I'd personally do again. Escape rooms are much more my speed... I enjoy those way more! Ohh!! I also didn't like that fact their bar was cash only! You know you're walking into a real theater when the building itself makes you slow down for a…read moresecond and say, "Alright... this is going to be a night." Not a strip mall stage wedged between a nail salon and a frozen yogurt shop. A real theater. The kind that feels like it was built for big voices, bright lights, and the occasional crowd singing along a little too loudly after a couple of pre-show drinks. That's the first thing you notice about the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Sitting right along the river in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the place just looks like it belongs there. Modern lines, big glass, clean design. But at the same time it still carries the charm and warmth you expect from a classic theater. It feels like a venue that was designed for nights out. Once inside, the layout works well. Sightlines are excellent. Whether you're down low or up in the higher seats, the stage is easy to see and you never feel like you're watching from a bad angle. But here's the one thing that caught us by surprise. The sound system struggles a bit when you get up into the higher seats. The speakers just don't quite reach that far with the same clarity, so the sound can come across a little muffled. Here's the pro tip. If you're sitting high, save the money and go cheaper on the ticket because the sound quality up there probably won't match what you'd expect from a premium seat anyway. The parking situation has actually improved. Getting in is easier now that they switched to the pay by plate app system. You drive in, park, handle the payment on your phone and head to the show. Simple. Leaving, however, is another story. Getting out of the parking lot after a show can feel like a bit of an adventure. This is where patience becomes part of the evening's entertainment. Give yourself time and don't expect a quick exit. We saw Darius Rucker last night, and even with the sound challenges in the higher seats, it was still a really fun night. Good music, a great crowd, and the kind of energy that makes live shows worth it every time. Here's the move if you're coming here. Go early. Grab dinner or drinks somewhere nearby. Walk over without rushing and enjoy the atmosphere around the theater. And when the show ends, don't fight the traffic. Take your time and let the crowd thin out. Do it that way and the Broward Center becomes exactly what it should be. An outstanding way to spend a Saturday night.
