I got here around 11 on Sunday. Parking was easy. I found metered parking on NW 2nd it was free until 12 and only $3 an hour after. It was a beautiful day. Vendors lined Atlantic Ave and a few f the side streets.. I was a little taken back by the $9 lemonade but it was a street fair so more power to the vendors if they get away with that. Plenty of art, food and unusual nik naks. More vendors here this year than the last few and it was fun just walking around.

This is the Delray Affair's 60th anniversary and my first visit. I was easily able to find free street parking only a block from the fair. The city garages are offering parking for $5 a day. This is one of the largest arts & craft festival in the Southeast United States running from April 8th through April 10th, It attracts artists and crafters from across the country. The fair stretches 12 city blocks from city hall, across the railroad tracts, and down to 5th Street. In addition there are vendors in Old School Square and on all of the side streets. The fair has been nicknamed "The Greatest Show Under the Delray Sun." There is so much to enjoy at the Delray Affair. Shop over 400 artists and crafters. You can learn about the history of the fair at the Delray Historical Society Booth. Children can enjoy the free kids zone with activities sponsored by The Avenue Church, Silverball Museum, Delray Beach Library, Sandoway House and AWATFit. Live entertainment is offered at Old School Stage Beer Garden. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the fair, local businesses are offering special deals and 60;s themed activities. There is multiple booths selling food and drinks. It was so thoughtful of Delray to provide all of this amazing shopping and food during my birthday weekend. LOL Entrance to the fair is free but you are definitely going to want to shop and try some of the yummy food. After attending numerous events in Delray this one is the best! The weather is gorgeous and the fair is still going so come on over.

We got there about 11 AM on Saturday morning and the place was packed and full of so much energy. We started to look down the street on the right, on the left, and all you saw with vendors all the way up we realized it was 10 blocks long. We stopped and talked to everybody at each food. I had this conversation with most creative art in different items it was so much fun. It was so much fun. We stopped along the way and had lunch at lemongrass, and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best sushi rolls I've had in a long time. Along the way back we went shopping in the shops along Atlantic, and browsed in an out, I stopped by the licorice chaos, but three bags of fresh natural licorice the flavors were absolutely delicious. I look forward to such fun and DELRAY will be back next year and will be back next Weekend

    Great sign!

We walked around the event for awhile to see what they had. It's always hot! Always the same weekend in April- 2nd weekend! The Kiwanis club had a great booth and they were saying "free water"- well, almost free .donate $1 and get a bottle of water! Excellent ! I also tried entering a raffle for an IPic gift card- to no avail- meaning I entered but did not win!. I did buy a leather strap bracelet which I love- I wore it for a short time and because my wrists are small it kept turning (beads weren't in the middle like when I did try it on). I did contact the seller that night and I am exchanging it for a smaller one (I sent I back). I always like supporting the artists and walking around my town of Delray. I did notice more of a police presence this year too- glad to know we are well protected. I saw big cell towers attached to a police van. Keep us safe! Ty!

The Delray affair was moved to the boynton mall parking lot this year. The ambiance is very different but it was easier to walk around and there was plenty of parking. As usual some of the best vendors and lots of great food abs snacks.

Could not ask for a better day beautiful weather, it was a large crowd but it was beautiful. the food was good the entertainment and music was great .you can find almost anything in the booths, easy to find parking spaces even though there was a lot of people. Lots of restrooms everywhere ,and on top of that all the restaurants and shops Lining the Boulevard was open if you wanted to bite to eat in a restaurant instead of vendors. I also went yesterday and it was great been going for about 9 years always a good time

This was my first time attending The Delray Affair. It was great! Such a huge and unique group of vendors. This opened my eyes to a whole new world of art. I couldn't believe some of the things these artists are doing with random objects. Truly amazing. I made some great purchases and learned about some awesome local artists that I never knew existed. This event seemed to be very well organized and planned for. It was crowded, however, everyone was so nice and having such a great time, that we didn't mind the crowd at all, it's not as if it was a rowdy group of people. Everyone was strolling along at a very slow pace, taking in all that the festival had to offer. There were a lot of kids and dogs, so we felt right at home. The vendors were all very nice too, they were open to questions and concerns about purchasing their items online, etc. It was a really fun event and I can't wait to come back next year!

    Beautiful day for an Affair!

The event is held over a weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. This was my first year attending and I was impressed by how large the festival was. Over 150 vendors from all over Florida and the country lined two full streets selling art, garden decorations, home decor, pet items, beauty items, and food. I definitely saw some cool things I've never seen before. I ended up by buying a bromeliad with orchids to hang on my front porch, a wooden Great Blue Heron and egret for my garden, glass earrings and a heart necklace, and a plumeria plant that is just a stick right now but hopefully in 6 months it will be blooming with beautiful flowers. I also found some pretty ornaments for Christmas presents. I could have spent a lot more money if I had it. The vendors were many and varied. I can see why this festival has lasted so long. There are also a ton of restaurants to eat at and places to shop within walking distance of the festival. I couldn't leave the area without popping into Proper Ice Cream for my favorite honeycomb flavor. The weather was delightful for a divine day of shopping. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon.

The event attracted over 100 exhibitors showcasing hand created art works which included glass, photography, paint, mixed media, jewelry, metal, wood, and textiles. My favorite art in the festival were the colorful dog paintings, the pictures made out of colored pencils, anything with mermaid s and flamingos, and the whimsical mailboxes. The weather was gorgeous and I always love visiting Delray Beach. There are a ton of great places to eat and drink steps away from the fair on Atlantic Avenue. If you missed this art fair, there will be another one held on January 15th at SE 5th St over the Intracoastal and extending on to A1A. Nothing beats enjoying beautiful weather at art fairs in January in Florida.

And aside from it being fun, it's great to be able to get together with friends, family and the community to support the good folks at the church. They did a really nice job with the festival as usual. There's a carnival part which has a modest selection of rides and games and they also have vendors, folk dancing, a bar and tons of Greek food options, everything from feta topped fries to Souvlaki to saganaki. Desserts too! We tried a bunch of different items and they were all very tasty. The only downside this year was that the festival happened to take place on a weekend where it was absolutely freezing. We hung around for about 3 hours but had to spend most of our time in the tents because it was so windy and chilly. But there was dancing, entertainment and music inside, so we really didn't mind. Overall five stars. I hope they continue to have this cool festival in the future!

Parking at the church is $10 and there's free parking down the street at some of the other church parking lots. I've been going since I moved to Florida 25 years ago and have only missed a few years. Always took our boys and watched them grow from pushing them around in a stroller to riding the rides with them and eventually they drove themselves with their friends and would find us so we could eat together. Now, youngest is in college so I send pictures so he feels likes he's not missing out. The best food ever... it's a delicious eating frenzy...Gyro, Moussaka, Homemade Baklava, just to name a few, and plenty of Greek wine and Beer!! Don't forget to stop by the Saganaki booth to watch the show. The same guys have been working the flaming cheese and Loukaniko booth for years. Its so much fun and usually my first stop. Grab some food and a seat inside the tent and listen to music and watch the dancing. Volunteers from the church work hard all weekend and everyone is so nice. There's even a drive-thru if you just want to pick up food. A must stop is the church itself. it's beautiful and IMO one of the nicest in the world. You can take a tour or just walk in. Several food vendors were on hand selling crabcakes, gyros, lobster rolls, souvlaki, stir fry, frozen lemonade, fresh squeezed lemonade, and so much more. It was a free pet friendly experience with many diverse art items on display such as sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, wearable art, live plants, along with delicious fast food and drinks. It was sweaty blast and somehow we found a way to once again purchase numerous creative artistic pictures & sculptures that we will wonder why we bought a month later. The event for the most part was well organized. The ticket booth was fast and efficient. All the booze was the outer row and the food the inner row. I have to say there were a lot fewer restaurants representing this year which made the food to booze ratio quite off. Less tables to sit and eat from, also made it harder to socialize and juggle all the cups, food containers and plate. Music as per last event was exceptional and I love that they use a local band out of Lake Worth that really know how to throw a party. As for the food, Hullabaloo stole it for me, their pork belly was to die for and I probably, and unashamedly had about 5. DaDa was there with their classic goat cheese and chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in peppercorn bacon, BrusRoom showed up with a boneless buffalo wing, Melting pot did a little dessert medley with melted chocolate, Seasons 52 had mini desserts (red belted, smores, cheesecake), Bella Luna had a seafood bisque and cheese pieces - that sums up the food options. As for booze, there was at least 4-5 breweries, 4 wineries and a whole lot of liquor. My favorite new find was a chipotle infused silver tequila called Tanteo which the lady was nice enough to give me a mini bottle to take since I became an instant fan. Overall I had a good night, I do think the last event was better overall, and the tickets were pricey considering there wasn't as much food, but a good event for a good cause nevertheless.
