I've gone to Delray Bash in the past at this location. This year it was very good. They had foods from various restaurants in the area as well as many booths including a great one from Yelp. I enjoyed almost all of it. They needed more beer booths. They had very few beer outlets. The only one I saw was Sam Adams not one of my favorites, but they tried hard. I prefer light beer but there was none to be found. Meat balls were everywhere. Really good ones. Great wine was all over the place as well as Vodka. A great many restaurants were represented. Brio, the Melting Pot, Dada, Pizza Rustica and many, many others. I had a great time eating and drinking my fill. They had great music performers playing throughout the evening. The evening was wonderful.

Had the opportunity to attend this event with my friend that was invited by Yelp and given two free tickets. When we got to the event we noticed the line wrapped around the block. But by the time we parked right next door valet for $10 and walked to the line it was moving fairly quickly. The event was sold out and we had to pick up our tickets at will call which was very well organized. We got our tickets and continued doing the line. When approaching the entrance they only had one volunteer doing the wrist band which I thought maybe one more wouldn't hurt to help. As soon as we entered we went for the drinks. There was a lot of options for wines but we went straight to the Bombay stations. I love how they served the drinks in their signature glass which we ended up taking home! The drinks were all good. But the first line was super long but we waited it out, the drink was worth it. After we had our drinks in hand we went out to try the food. The best was the burger from MEAT the line was a 30 min wait but worth it. The worst was the quinoa salad from Brio. Unfortunately this was one of the last items we had and we were quite disappointed. All the other food wasn't really out of this world. But with limited time and some of the restaurants running out of food (the melting pot) and long lines we weren't really able to taste everything. For dessert we had way to many seasons 52 signatures dessert I loved the carrot cake and the chocolate cake was also very rich! I don't think I would pay the 50 dollars for this event unless your a huge wine drinker. There was a lot of selection of wine and easily you can drink way more than fifty dollars in wine! I think with the six Bombay drinks we had was more than 50 bucks. Just the variation of food and the lines were a bit unwelcoming also very limited areas to sit or tables to eat at. This event was definitely an older crowd, if you know what I mean.

    I have arrived! So stoked!

The event is held over a weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. This was my first year attending and I was impressed by how large the festival was. Over 150 vendors from all over Florida and the country lined two full streets selling art, garden decorations, home decor, pet items, beauty items, and food. I definitely saw some cool things I've never seen before. I ended up by buying a bromeliad with orchids to hang on my front porch, a wooden Great Blue Heron and egret for my garden, glass earrings and a heart necklace, and a plumeria plant that is just a stick right now but hopefully in 6 months it will be blooming with beautiful flowers. I also found some pretty ornaments for Christmas presents. I could have spent a lot more money if I had it. The vendors were many and varied. I can see why this festival has lasted so long. There are also a ton of restaurants to eat at and places to shop within walking distance of the festival. I couldn't leave the area without popping into Proper Ice Cream for my favorite honeycomb flavor. The weather was delightful for a divine day of shopping. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon.

The event attracted over 100 exhibitors showcasing hand created art works which included glass, photography, paint, mixed media, jewelry, metal, wood, and textiles. My favorite art in the festival were the colorful dog paintings, the pictures made out of colored pencils, anything with mermaid s and flamingos, and the whimsical mailboxes. The weather was gorgeous and I always love visiting Delray Beach. There are a ton of great places to eat and drink steps away from the fair on Atlantic Avenue. If you missed this art fair, there will be another one held on January 15th at SE 5th St over the Intracoastal and extending on to A1A. Nothing beats enjoying beautiful weather at art fairs in January in Florida.

They did a really nice job with the festival as usual. There's a carnival part which has a modest selection of rides and games and they also have vendors, folk dancing, a bar and tons of Greek food options, everything from feta topped fries to Souvlaki to saganaki. Desserts too! We tried a bunch of different items and they were all very tasty. The only downside this year was that the festival happened to take place on a weekend where it was absolutely freezing. We hung around for about 3 hours but had to spend most of our time in the tents because it was so windy and chilly. But there was dancing, entertainment and music inside, so we really didn't mind. Overall five stars. I hope they continue to have this cool festival in the future!

The Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church on Yamato Road in Boca, transforms its grounds into one of the best festivals of all times and welcomes everyone from Thursday - Sunday. Parking at the church is $10 and there's free parking down the street at some of the other church parking lots. I've been going since I moved to Florida 25 years ago and have only missed a few years. Always took our boys and watched them grow from pushing them around in a stroller to riding the rides with them and eventually they drove themselves with their friends and would find us so we could eat together. Now, youngest is in college so I send pictures so he feels likes he's not missing out. The best food ever... it's a delicious eating frenzy...Gyro, Moussaka, Homemade Baklava, just to name a few, and plenty of Greek wine and Beer!! Don't forget to stop by the Saganaki booth to watch the show. The same guys have been working the flaming cheese and Loukaniko booth for years. Its so much fun and usually my first stop. Grab some food and a seat inside the tent and listen to music and watch the dancing. Volunteers from the church work hard all weekend and everyone is so nice. There's even a drive-thru if you just want to pick up food. A must stop is the church itself. it's beautiful and IMO one of the nicest in the world. You can take a tour or just walk in. The inside Sanctuary is magnificent. Until next year... when everyone is Greek for the weekend. OPA!
