Something tasty something quick, the two men in this truck - truly knows how to soothe your craving for Vietnamese flavor. Portion was priced right. Presentation was neat and colorful.

Lukewarm broth doesn't cook the copious amount of meat through, which is fine for people like me who like their steaks rare

Bottom line: great place to grub if you're nearby and want convenient pho. I tried this place skeptically, wondering how good pho from a food truck could be. However, to my pleasant surprise, the pho wasn't bad at all. Ipho is far from the best pho restaurant - even for UC standards. The noodles are bit hard and the broth is mediocre. Yet it wouldn't be fair to compare iPho to actual Vietnamese pho restaurants. As only food truck that serves pho, it does it's job pretty well and earns borderline 4 stars. This is a great on the run lunch for Drexel students or people stopping by the area and aren't looking to eat anywhere serious. Tried: beef pho ($6) Pros: gives plenty of meat. good serving size, decent flavors Cons: noodles are a bit hard, broth is mediocre, broth is served lukewarm sometimes and rare meats end up raw or undercooked (which may actually be a great pro for those rare meat lovers out there). pro tip: don't eat the pho right away. Found out that letting it sit for a bit softens noodles and gives time for meat to kind of cook a wee bit more

Vietnamese is definitely one of my favorite cuisines. With skepticism and doubts, I decided to try iPho. The beef bahn mi is delicious!!!! Tender and flavorful beef with fresh carrots slices, cucumber and cilantro, spreaded with this savory Vietnamese sauce. Next time I'm trying the pho. Last but not the least, the staff is soooo friendly.

The biggest surprise was the tái (eye-round steak), yet still retaining that pleasantly chewy texture of undercooked beef; the gầu (fat brisket) was thick and crisp, fragrant but not greasy--who would have thought I'd find brisket fat here? This showed the restaurant's precise control over the broth temperature and the thickness of the beef. Almost all phở restaurants claim to offer authentic raw beef or various cuts of beef, but very few can truly make customers feel the difference. The restaurant's decor is simple but spacious and clean; the service is average, but very efficient. Efficiency is essential for phở, otherwise the beef would be overcooked in the hot broth. After all, the essence of a restaurant is food, and for such affordable ones, it's gratifying to see them spend most of their costs on the food itself.
