They charged me FULL retail for my exam. I had to submit my charges to the insurance company, that only reimbursed me for the "Reasonable & Customary", $150. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of frames and lenses from Jazzy Eyes over the past 45 years. The least they could have done was charge me the $150 that my insurance covered. They have zero flexibility for their good long time customers. It is not a matter of the money, this will not break me. It was the idea that if they do not take your insurance they charge you a high retail price. For a routine annual visit. So sad. In the past, Jazzy Eyes used to have the largest selection of really funky glass. Their selection has been reduced and many of their brands that they used to carry, they do not have anymore. $50 dollars cost them my business. I am sorry to go, it is just a matter of principle.
