Have been going to Jazzy Eyes for now over 15 years. I never switched when other doctor retired. Dr Falco s more knowledgeable and more personal than other Donna, the master fitter for eyeglasses. She is the best of anyone in the business. She always picks out for me the best fit and the best look for me every time I recommend them both for the best in Broward County read more

Not worth it. $208 for an annual exam. The exam was good but not worth the money. I do have eye insurance, and they were not able to find my United Health Care plan number in their system. They charged me FULL retail for my exam. I had to submit my charges to the insurance company, that only reimbursed me for the "Reasonable & Customary", $150. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of frames and lenses from Jazzy Eyes over the past 45 years. The least they could have done was charge me the $150 that my insurance covered. They have zero flexibility for their good long time customers. It is not a matter of the money, this will not break me. It was the idea that if they do not take your insurance they charge you a high retail price. For a routine annual visit. So sad. In the past, Jazzy Eyes used to have the largest selection of really funky glass. Their selection has been reduced and many of their brands that they used to carry, they do not have anymore. $50 dollars cost them my business. I am sorry to go, it is just a matter of principle. In closing, there is more competition today for eye exams and glasses. Before choosing Jazzy Eyes check around for your best options. I have added this business to my "do not recommend " list. read more

Finally got my prescriptions right on progressive eyeglasses that I've been avoiding. I had a hard time trying to get use to them but now I feel I really need them when watching tv, driving and reading. Came here as a referral from a friend. Beautiful selection of designer glasses at normal prices BUT an average of close to $600 for prescription lenses which would set me back at a grand after all is said and done. Found a nice pair of Tom Fords but not willing to fork out the bucks. read more

I usually don't do a review, but in this case, it deserves a review. I order a pair of glasses a month ago. I never got a call that my glasses were ready. So I decided to stop by and see if they were ready. A young lady with blue hair asks me can she help me. I gave her my information. She had me waiting am thinking that she was looking for my glasses. She then comes from the back and answer the phone. I am thinking she is going to assist me when she got off the phone. Am still waiting patiently. She goes to the back, and another young lady ask me if I have been helped. I told her yes. I was waiting. I heard this young lady with the blue hair talking to someone else and just left me still waiting. The 2nd young lady read more

New owner, Dr. Laura Falco, and her team are fantastic! Personable, knowledgeable and actually made getting an eye exam fun. Imagine that! Plus, they let me know that my health insurance (Cigna) would cover the exam - I didn't realize it would being I don't have vision. I've had a vision exam at a chain in the past and walked out with frames that I knew would see the bottom of my bag more than they would my face. Dr. Falco's was very thorough and educated me on what each part of the exam helped evaluate. When it was time to discuss frames, she and her assistant were so helpful and helped me find the best fit for my lifestyle and comfort. I was pleasantly surprised at how many pairs I actually liked! I'm feeling much more optimistic about the pair I just picked up - plus the frames are gorgeous! These will definitely not live in the bottom of a bag. If you're looking for a new Optometrist, you will not be disappointed with Dr. Falco. read more

Went in for new glasses, and was very impressed with their customer service. I'd been having issues with the last few sets of lenses in my old frames, my old eye doctors office told me there was nothing wrong. I stopped into Jazzy Eyes on a whim, and they knew exactly what the issue was. They ordered a new set of lenses, and those had the same issue. Come to find out, the quality of that particular coating had gone down since the manufacturer was bought out. ANYWAY..... Donna was able to find a solution in a timely manner. And for the first time in 2 years, I'm extremely satisfied with my glasses. Thank you so much! It was refreshing to see someone truly care, and have a genuine interest in making the customer happy. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE I came in as a friend referred me to Jazzy eyes. My current frames were broken and I was looking for new glasses when they said they had frames that fit my lenses. I decided to get a new frame as well as a new pair of glasses as my work was paying for replacements. I didn't find what I wanted but did purchase one of the 5 frames the lady (Donna) said would fit my current lenses. Not even 24 hours later the lense popped out of the left eye. I decided these do not fit as they thought so will take frames back the next day. Well, they would not take them back and then lied and said "they told me they were trying to make them work." I would not spend 275 dollars on "try" and make work frames when my current glued ones were Making it work. Since I was in the market for a new pair of glasses but thought it would be nice to keep these lenses (as I really like the way the manufacture made these progressive lenses ) that I had made when I bought frames from my eye doctor in the bahamas 5 years ago without a problem as all, even though the lady said RayBans were not very good. In Jazzy Eyes defense it does says on the reciept, that I didn't look at , (she folded it and handed it to me after I electronically signed my cc. ) My bad but it does say no refunds. Morally though I think they should of taken them back. Instead they called the police as a witness!! To say they told me these may not work! And that I came in couldn't see and needed glasses. I showed the police that I had glasses and showed her my glued intact frames. The police agreed they should take them back but that it does say no refunds and to find some other place to shop. I said that I would And that I was sorry they had wasted her time on such a silly matter. I work on a boat in the bahamas and on a private plane in California. I need to depend on my glasses. These I will not be able to . Instead I spent 275 dollars to make me rush and find new glasses that I can depend on. instead of doing what I was doing and just keeping my glued frames that have worked since July. Jazzy Eyes thinks great customer service is come in everyday if you have to get them fixed. They took my money and do not care. I will not buy anything from them again. Oh and while waiting for them to put the lenses in and they were waiting for the police... I helped a nice lady pick out sunglasses! As she was just buying frames to have her Dr put lenses in. I did warn her though make sure you like them as they will not work with you. DO NOT BUY FROM JAZZY EYES. There's lots of other places in Ft Lauderdale that will work with you and refund your money if you are not happy. No need to lock yourself in I feel the Stole my money. read more

I went to Jazzy Eyes because I kept hearing amazing praises about Dr. Laura Falco, her reputation as an expert in her field definitely precedes her! And let me tell you, there a reason for that, Dr. Falco is also super sweet and caring! She knew what I needed right away and took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. Everything about my experience was fun and pleasant. From the knowledgeable and friendly girls at the front desk to sweet Donna who helped me find a perfect pair of frames in 10 minutes! That was a record time, I usually take forever to decide after trying all the pairs in the store and Jazzy Eyes have an ENORMOUS selection so thank god for Donna she knew right away which frames will fit my face and my style and even feel comfortable. That was a fun experience and I absolutely love my new glasses. I recommend you to go to Jazzy Eyes and support Dr. Falco and her team because they're just awesome and they truly love what they do. Because of the fantastic frame selection and proximity to my house, I've been coming to Kimmelman for years. This isn't because he's an outstanding doctor. This isn't because I feel like I can see things more clearly (ha!) after each visit. This is purely because they have an outstanding selection of frames on offer. And yes, if you don't have insurance, you'll practically have to refinance your house to afford a pair. When anyone in my family is due for an annual, we always have a good laugh about "going to see Kimmelman." You really have to have tough skin to handle his blunt attitude and recommendations, or else you'll feel like you're doomed. This, of course, is definitely not an ideal feeling to have when you see a doctor, but like I said, if it wasn't for the frames, I would obviously go elsewhere. My most recent visit a few weeks ago also exposed me to another side of him and his staff. I was in a bit of a rush so didn't feel like committing to purchase a pair of frames, and once they figured out that I wasn't going to "use my benefit," as it was labelled, they blew me off. Completely. I even felt awkward asking for him to write my prescription down, and although he did so, it was definitely with animosity. I ended up ordering contacts from them a few days later, as it was convenient and the same price as online, and they mailed me my old prescription :/ Thankfully I have enough on hand to last me, as I'm still waiting for the proper box to arrive. All this being said, I think my last experience was enough to make me finally part ways with the doc down the street. read more
