I guess this place is as good as any chain. I don't have a huge correction and got a standard pair of glasses (I wear contact lenses) for bed time..nothing fancy or expensive. I read reviews where people spend $500 on glasses!! Wow. Anyway, my gripe is that if you need to order refills, they take forever to respond to the on line supplier or require you to get another eye exam and drop another $130 for nothing. I was told my Ray-ban glasses would be delivered 5-10 days after purchase. 10 business days later, I was told 2 weeks, two weeks later, I was told a month. I made the decision to get a refund due to the lack of communication and misinformation told to me by the staff. This company used to be great. They were awful 2 weeks ago. It was a total waste of my time. The eye Dr seemed like he had better things to do. He dilated my eyes to check for glaucoma but never told me i would have to wait 45 minutes until he would bring me back in. He saw another patient while I sat and waited. I wanted them to put my new prescription in my old glasses that I bought from them 2 years ago. Apparently they couldn't do that either. They changed labs and it doesn't have the capabilities. I would give a zero star if it was possible. In October I bought lenses that was valued around $500 and here we are 4 months later and they are damaged with all kinds of scratches. I went in person and they told me there is nothing they can do for me. You would think for the price they would hold up longer than 4 months. Came in for an eye exam to Foreyes. It is located in a big shopping center and has plenty of parking. When you enter during pandemic times, they have sanitizer at the entrance, a temperature check is done and you sign in. Once these safety measures have been taken, you can look in the store or proceed to the front desk. As we were looking at the frames an associate let us know of their specials and that if we tey any frames to place them in a box to be sanitized before they put them back on the viewing shelves. If you have to wait to be helped or your eye exam do view the wallpaper which is many words all relating to the eye. Definitely interesting, lol. The optometrist was friendly, calm and explained his eye exam findings. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. When you enter the store, it is bright and clean. Light, nautral colors. I guess this helps when picking out glasses, no background disturbance. Overall, good experience and glad to see the safety measures in place. read more

When I first walked in I was greeted by a very nice lady and was helped within 20 min. After my eye exam I sat with the manager and she helped me pick out two frames in a timely manner. I paid, everything went smoothly then when I got home I realized I spent way too much money on the frames and really could not afford it so I decided to call the office that same night and asked if I could return one of the frames. The person who answered the phone put me on hold and then said she would have to speak with her manager and call me back. I waited about 3 days for a call and nothing. I decided to just let it go. 10 business days later...I called to find out the status of my glasses. The young lady who answered the phone said "uhh yea they're here". Uhh well thanks for the follow up call...is what I should've said. They are nice and timely when you walk in but horrible with their follow ups. read more

I broke my glasses and I went to a place that said they can't fix them. That they could break and handed them back to me. I saw your store and decided to try it before giving up. Milly greeted me when I walked in. She looked at them and said they would probably break, but she would try. she fixed them and it's about 2 weeks and I'm still wearing them. What a huge selection of glasses! They have frames starting under $50 that look classy and stylish to name brand frames for a great price. They have social distancing signs on the front windows, stickers on the floor, hand sanitizer, staff wearing masks and each customer trying on or touching frames is given their own box to place anything touched into so that they are sanitized after. All of the staff was friendly and the service was prompt, no waiting around for anything. I have been to three other stores prior to this one and each one of those place had extremely high prices and the staff was not attentive nor helpful. For Eyes not only had a super clean and sanitary store, but the staff was kind and helpful and the prices were extremely reasonable. I got three pair of prescription glasses! One pair of sunglasses and two regular prescription pair. They have an amazing sale on getting a second pair of glasses and they also give a AAA discount! Who knew, but the young lady helping me was extremely helpful in helping me pick frames that would fit me well, feel good and also save me money. What more could you ask for. read more

Make sure that you pay close attention...they will slide additional charges on your bill. They add $35 warranty on my glasses without my permission. I've been wearing glasses for over 40 years and I haven't had a warranty since I was teenager. Im 100% confident that the rep did not tell me they were adding a warranty. The only reason I found out was that my HSA had rejected the cost and I just saw the email since I dont go check this account frequently. The team was dismissive said it doesnt matter that they charged me against my wishes I only have 30 days. It's not a big deal to me but they lost a off future revenue from family of 4 with glasses and contacts over $35. It's a principle thing. I would void them like the plague or at least really scrutinize your receipts for add-ons. It's a shame I really like the DR Eric Stepp. He was awesome but customer service manager made a bad call. read more

Our 11 yr old son wears glasses since the age of 5. We recently moved from another state and it was time to buy new glasses. I came across For Eyes after going to Publix. I ran in and asked about any specials they might have, explained about our son. The Lady who helped me was super nice & patient with me. I brought our Son in the next day, with his prescription and they aimed us in the right direction. Telling us which glasses would be a good fit. He is a tiny kid. Once he had 3 picked out she left us alone to decide. Not overbearing but very pleasant. He even liked her. The glasses came in before the deadline she gave us. Again super Customer Service when he went in to pick them up. Will definitely try out the Dr before school starts this Fall for his annual eye exam. read more

Ever since I first visited this location everyone was welcoming and Dr. Stepp is professional and listens to concerns and addresses them. My eye sight has never been better. They have a wide selection of brand frames and price match contacts with 1-800-contacts on select brands. Katherine helped me pick out my frames this time. She was patient, funny and gave great feedback. The prices are very competitive and I love their buy one get one free offer. I moved to Parkland over two years ago and will continue to make the drive to this For Eyes because the quality of the service is outstanding and they always go the extra mile. First we explored frames, I tried on quite a few, Sebastien helped greatly by being a true professional, he steered me to exactly what looked the best. We sat down and I asked his recommendation for lenses, once again he had the answers to my many questions. First I thought that I would just add a sun transitions lens as I've always worn. He explained the difference between dedicated sun glasses and what I wore. I realized then that driving in South Florida with its glaring sun I needed 'real' sunglasses. As a regular customer of for eyes I went to the Weston location to buy frames with progressive lenses. (My previous experience of this location was excellent ). When I indicated to the salesgirl that I need help she gestured and moaned that she is overwhelmed/ annoyed ,than proceeded behind the cashiers to engage in other activities ( phone calls admin stuff) After patiently waiting ,a male employee saw the situation and told her he will handle the admin, ushered her out to take care of me. Firstly she did not even find my previous prescription in the system , but finally she discovered it. As I was not sure of the starting date of my insurance I asked her to look it up. She categorically stated that without the last four numbers of the primary insured's ss number she can not tell me whether my insurance is active. When I asked her to call the insurance she repeated her statement. Needless to say that when I called the insurance myself they asked only my ID number and DOB. However by the time I finished the phone call, the girl put the frame back to the shelf. Her whole attitude was rude and unpleasant, the only thing was missing a kick to my bottom to get me out of the store. read more

After initially receiving my glasses they were great for a couple weeks into the lens fell out they were then tightened up and the lens fell out again mind you I only wear my glasses a couple times a week. They were sent out to be fixed and then apparently had to be resent out so I've literally had these glasses worked on four different times in a couple of months I'm sure it's not the actual employees but whoever they make the glasses the system is obviously not working properly..I was also guaranteed that they would be back in a few days and then when I came many days later I was never called to tell me that the glasses were not in fact there so somebody also dropped the ball..I've been wearing glasses for over 20 years and have never had to have a single pair worked on four different times and have the lenses done three different times it's kind of ridiculous read more
