Plus Platinum Jewelry screwed me over TWICE and TOOK MY MONEY. I asked them for a watch overhaul. They took my money up front and eventually got back to me with the "fixed" watch, which was now 8 seconds faster than normal. Each time I asked them to fix the problem, they took the watch, "fixed" it, then returned it to me, but the watch was always off-sync. This continued for a total of 9 TIMES. I ended up asking for a refund because they continuously failed to fix the watch's issues, and they responded by showing me a Google result that claimed that it was normal for a watch to be out of sync give or take 10 seconds. Then why not tell me that before charging me $1000 for a watch that you can't even fix? I had another watch that I requested a price estimate for a movement cleaning. They took 4 DAYS to get back to me, claiming that they "wouldn't be able to fix the watch". I NEVER asked them to "fix" this watch, only asking them for a price estimate. When I opened the watch, I realized that they had tampered with the watch, with some components beyond repair. They refused to take responsibility for it, and initially refused to even acknowledge the fact that they tampered with the watch, straight up lying to my face. At some point they admitted to me that their mechanic wasn't used to fixing Breitling watches (this was a $50,000 watch they ruined!). TL;DR: Benjamin and his son Jacob both lied to me. They took my money for a watch they ultimately weren't even able to fix. They also messed up another one of my $50,000 BREITLING watches and refused to take responsibility for it. If you're going to do business with these people, TAKE THOROUGH PICTURES OF YOUR ITEMS, INSIDE AND OUT BEFORE YOU GIVE IT TO THEM. They will not take responsibility if things go wrong. read more

On December 5, 2024 I purchased a block letter, 14k white gold diamond initial "T" and a 14k white gold 16" chain from Plus Platinum Jewelry in the Wellington mall. In less than 24 hours, I decided to return the items because I was asked by 5 acquaintances why was I wearing a cross? I am not Christian and it deeply bothered me that people saw my letter "T" as a cross! As you can plainly see, I was told and given in writing that I could exchange this block letter for a different "T" for the SAME price of $2,250!! I was told to bring in a picture of the "T" I wanted and a new pendant would be created with the exact specifications as the one I returned. I brought a picture of a script letter to the store the very next day! Today, December 17, 2024 I received a voice mail from the owner of the store, Lana, telling me she has some good news for me. I stopped by the store and was told by Fuscia that they could make the pendant for me at a cost of $3,500!!! She would not honor her words which are in writing in the attached document. Fuscia retorted that she couldn't find anybody to make the pendant for the price of $2,250 and she wasn't going to lose money! My question is - why do you put something in writing and make a promise when you have no intention of honoring this legal document? I refused to pay an additional $1,250 and asked for my money to be refunded. They did refund my money and I reminded them that I could take them to court for not honoring this written contract. I also told them that they have lost a good customer and I would never step foot in the store again! When you put something in writing, you need to honor the written word, even if you stand to lose money. I visited for a special gift for my wife and the husband (owner) was present and not his wife. Suggested they had a second booth in Festival and she was covering it. Ok ... I saw the piece wanted and asked him for a price. She had provided a price prior on piece and I expected it to match. Nope ! He was several hundred dollars more. I tried to be reasonable and went to the other booth to see if wife was available. I could not find her and found another piece there and asked for a price. Another almost full retail price offer ... Ouch ! Luckily I looked just East and found another booth with gold jewelry. I went there and immediately assisted. The pricing was very fair and they have sold me two other pieces since. I offer three stars here as their greed pointed me to a better jeweler and actually helped me long term. I tried to show allegiance, but would not be shafted either with unfair mark ups. Beware of Plus Platinum Jewelry, I recently purchased several pieces of jewelry from their flee market store. A friend of mine had been looking to purchase a Rolex for his wife and they had one. I called my friend Ed, and put Ben Abrahamaez the owner of the store on the phone with him. We were both told several times the watch could be returned so I put the watch on my credit card. I took my purchase with me and had the watch sent to him. I was very trusting because I have purchased things from this store in the past, and it went well. I would never have put someone else purchase on my credit card if it could not have been returned. I called from Chicago and said that Ed would be returning the watch and his sales person said that it could not be returned. I was shocked, and asked to speak with Ben, the very "talkative and friendly "Ben now would not even talk to me. I signed the store receipt which says no returns of more than $500.00 in very small print. I thought this did not apply because we were told numerous times the watch could in fact could be returned . Besides the lying, lack of customer service and rude behavior, the store lost a very good customer. Make sure that you get a detailed appraisal, and read the store recite and get EVERYTHING IN WRITING. I had a broken latch on a pearl necklace that needed to be replaced. Instead of actually replacing it, they "repaired" the broken latch, which broke the moment I got home. I purchased an 18K gold bracelet for $2,400 and I asked that the bracelet be made longer. The owner's mother, , SVETLANA ABRAMCHAEV added 2 14K links that ruined the entire look of the bracelet and told me that I had purchased the bracelet like that. This was not true. I had another jeweler at the Festival Flea Mkt test the two links that was added to confirm that they were 14 carat gold. She is very disceptive and I disputed the payment on my Visa. Her son, the owner, after several weeks finally made good and had a link made that matched the bracelet in 18K gold. I would not recommend these people. They have 3 booths there.
