YES FOR ATLANTIC JEWELERS! Steve and Janet are the absolute best and I am so grateful for the amazing work they did on my engagement ring. My boyfriend proposed with his mom's ring and a few days after the proposal we took the ring in to look into a halo setting and to get a bridge because the ring was far too big. Steve checked out the ring and immediately noticed that some of the prongs were missing on the head. He advised me to be very careful wearing it until that got fixed and I am so glad. It would have broken many hearts to lose that stone. He also cleaned the ring so I could show it off for a few days while we waited for a potential halo setting. They ordered a possible halo setting on our first visit and called a few days later saying they had it in. We went to look at it and I had such a hard time deciding between the halo and solitaire so Steve and Janet kept moving the main stone back and forth between the settings so I could compare. I still couldn't come to a decision so I left the ring there then came back a few days later with an entourage of people to help me decide! Steve and Janet were so patient with me as I went back and forth. Finally I decided to go with the halo and I am so glad I did! Steve did an amazing job constructing my ring and I feel like its a beautiful piece of my fiancés family with some of my own touch. Honestly, I was a little sad that my ring was all finished just because I didn't have an excuse to go visit Steve and Janet any more. When I mentioned that to them they were so kind and reminded me to come get the ring cleaned from time to time so we could catch up. Atlantic Jewelers did such an amazing job taking care of us that my fiance and I would actually consider inviting Janet and Steve to our wedding! Their personalities and customer service skills made us feel so loved and appreciated, but we were equally impressed by the value and quality they provided. We wanted to restore or tastefully bling out my mom's classic diamond solitaire engagement ring that was too big, needed lots of cleaning and had 3/6 of the prongs missing to protect the diamond. After helpful consultation we decided to put a platinum halo setting on the original shank with some small stones around the outside to really add to the depth and shine of the ring. My fiance was moved to tears when she saw her new ring perfectly sized, completely shined up and sparkling stunningly. I could not be more happy with the service, value and the look on her face wearing that symbol of love and commitment. She can't stop looking at it and I love that! First of all they cleaned the diamond for us for free which did wonders and really made my bride-to-be fall in love with the stone. They provided us with several options as far as settings, metals,and estimates even ordering a halo for us to see possibilities first hand without any pressure to buy. Being able to see a version of what the final ring would look like really made the difference to my fiance and she eagerly decided to add a platinum halo around my mom's original stone. We had told them that we were visiting family and truly didn't expect them to have it back to us, but miraculously they had her ring ready in 2 days. I know this isn't standard, but we were really touched and honored they worked so hard for us. It really truly felt like we were engaged once she put the ring on her finger and it fit, felt secure and shown so brilliantly. I know next to nothing about jewelry other than that it's expensive and I don't appreciate most of it, especially for the cost. That said, I was truly shocked at how affordable the ring was. They walked us through several price options and the pros and cons of each alternative and encouraged us to opt for value and strong materials. There was never any pressure and they were genuinely excited for us to be in love and engaged. We finished the process feeling like they were friends and I couldn't be happier. Very nice family to purchase from. second purchase I made from them and my third is on the way. 4 years ago my fiancé bought me my custom sail fish pendant from them and they put the Ruby red eye in it and it still looks almost brand new and never had any problems with it. This past Xmas I purchased my fiancé and 8yr old daughter a dolphin and sea turtle pendant both with an anchor chain. They were very helpful and made my selections less stressful. Also I was contemplating on buying myself a new anchor chain and what I was personally impressed by was the fact that they did not try to push a sale on me (cause I can be impulsive lol) and insured me that the one I currently own (7 years old) is a really nice one. Just that alone shows how honest they are which is very rare in itself these days. Doing business with them is a very pleasant experience and as soon as you walk in their doors you feel welcomed on top of that they make you feel as if you are family and have known each other for a long time. They have always cleaned my rings for free after purchase and when another jewelry store -- a large chain-store -- dented the platinum in my antique engagement ring, Steve took a half hour out of his day and fixed it for me. He didn't even charge me! I can't remember Steve's wife's name (starts with an A, I think...) was so sweet to me. I was almost in tears over my ring being damaged. They have beautiful, "modern" jewelry, but my favorite part of their store is the estate type jewelry that is one of a kind. The prices are incredibly fair and they don't sell anything that's not quality. The selection isn't enormous but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's easy to stock a ton of garbage. There is something for every price range and they will help you find what's right for you, not just what they can sell you. They have all the standard items you would expect and unique one of a kind pieces as well. If you're looking for something specific Steve can get it for you or make it himself.
