After being surprised by Josef's approximately $900 quote to replace the movement of the watch (a standard quartz movement that itself is available for sale online for ~$40) I took the watch to JR Dunn in Pompano--an authorized Tag dealer and repair shop, where Josef's is not--and was quoted less than $300 to have the entire job done, by Tag themselves, with a warranty. Shamelessly quoting 3x a certified dealer for the exact same job is outrageous.

Do not take the risk. Misleading site. Fake advertising and uncooperative horrible customer service. GREED. You're better off going to Macys at least you have a clear understanding of policies and quality and can return if you want without someone slipping in all kinds of fees. Places like this need to be reported.

First of all Steve and his wonderful wife have been my Jewelers for the past 20 years. Steve designed my weeding ring and now a few years later has done it again. He designed my wedding band to go with my ring. I told him what I wanted and he just make it. This is a true family business and they care about you and take time. Best Jewlers around. I was looking for an honest family owned business and that's exactly what I found. I had my engagement ring and wedding band cut off my finger, not knowing what to do Steve suggested we try to salvage the old band and try to reset the diamond in a new setting because it had been improperly fixed with a different material. I had a ring with bead work that encircled most of the ring. I needed to get it sized down and Steve was able to do a seamless sizing keeping all of the bead work intact. The man left no evidence he did anything to the ring and that's a sign of an excellent jeweler. Janet and the other staff members out front are all super friendly. Another plus was they called before the sizing to make sure of the size. read more

As for me, I wanted a custom two tone ring made with white and rose 14k gold and most places wanted to charge over $1000 to get it made. Then in September, we went to Golden bay Jewlers. At first, I was skeptical since it's located at the Festival Flea Market in Pompano, but the staff there was super friendly and Asaf was able to make my wedding band exactly the way I wanted it for under $900! In 14k gold. And to our amazement, he had a platinum band that matched my wife's engagement ring with the same size stones set in the band. He had it sized for free and it matched perfectly. We couldn't be happier. We came back 2 days before our wedding and Yaron steamed my wife's rings and the diamonds shined like brand new. Take a look at our rings. They are just perfect.
