Mel and another employee did not properly diagnose my phone, yet they attempted to claim there were damages that I did not believe were present. When I questioned this, Mel argued with me and repeatedly insisted that she had explained what happened, when that was not my experience of the interaction. I was also uncomfortable with Mel repeatedly asking me to provide private information publicly. I made it clear multiple times that I wanted to protect my personal data and did not consent to discussing or providing sensitive information where others could hear it. I should not have had to repeatedly explain that I wanted my privacy respected. The entire interaction was embarrassing and unprofessional. If you work in the phone repair business, customers should be able to expect a proper diagnosis, clear communication, respect for their privacy, and basic courtesy. I am asking management to review the security camera footage from around 1:15 p.m. so they can see how this interaction was handled and evaluate the conduct of their employees for themselves. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses both the customer-service and privacy concerns raised by this experience.

I contacted Casio, who provided a list of authorized service centers, including Kami Electronics. I emailed Kami, and he responded the same day with a few standard questions. Scheduling a drop-off appointment was quick and easy. A couple of days after dropping off the piano, I received an update from Kami that Casio had approved a warranty claim and had sent the necessary parts, which were expected to arrive in about a week. Seven days later, I received another update letting me know the piano was ready for pickup. To my surprise, when I picked it up, I was given a brand-new Casio Privia PX-S7000. I highly recommend Kami Electronics for warranty repairs. A turnaround time of less than two weeks was impressive, and it was clear Kami understands the warranty process with OEMs and worked efficiently with Casio to get everything handled promptly.
