Interurban in Edmond's Kickingbird Square is a favorite for locals in search of a quick bite any day of the week. They have a full menu that includes burgers, sandwiches (the IU club is great!), soup and salads. They offer a variety of entrees ranging from pasta and fish to chicken and steak. I always get the chicken picatta! Interurban also has a great patio where you can have dinner or just hang out with friends after work. Met here with another couple and enjoyed our time, the service was good the food was fairly priced and the place was nice. That was about it though nothing stood out to me to much but that was okay, just like the place. I will go back if it is my only option, no I take that back I would go there over any Chili's, Applebee's etc. read more

A little pricey for the quality, especially since there are no rolls/crackers/chips and salsa as part of your meal. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, and then I paid $15 for a less than stellar sandwich. Overall, I thought it wasn't that great for the quality. We've been here many times and it's never good. This time, the southwest egg rolls came out cold with a gelatinous bottom side, the "sushi grade" tuna was overdone and the burger was underdone. Hopefully this latest visit has convinced my companions to give up on this place. Blech. read more

we go there every year. We love this place. They are very good to the group of people that we bring in. they will do special orders for you as well. My favorite is the Barking fish sandwich and the salmon. I've also change the Barking fish to Salmon instead of tuna and it is very good. read more

This is our favorite local restaurant. It has a wonderful menu and a "everybody knows your name" feel. The tuna, vegetable plate, beer muffin, Cuban sandwich, and honey chicken sandwich are some of our favorites. Also has a great kids menu that our kiddos love. read more

Me and my mom love this place it's a local spot for people in Edmond! They have great salad called Linda's salad! Bland food and the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant in my life. The waiter took our order and never came back. Someone else brought the food, no one asked if we needed our drinks refilled, how the food was (I ordered a medium rare steak, it arrived well done), if we needed anything...nothing. I had to go find another waitress to ask for the check after we sat with our food for 45 minutes. The only thing they were quick about was running my credit card. I wasn't impressed. The food was ... okay. Way too expensive for the quality you're getting. Don't try the mac and cheese, it's pretty nasty. We ordered a side to share and neither of us could finish it. Blech. It's also a little too kid-friendly. They were screaming and running around everywhere. Different families everywhere. It was difficult to enjoy our meal. This one kid right next to us SCREAMED so loud and wouldn't stop... he screamed for no reason for about ten minutes and no one did anything about it. What do you do when you are seated at a restaurant and the hostess says someone will be with you soon. After 10 minutes goes by without anyone saying hello, be with you in a moment, etc. I was done. Note, they had plenty of waiters and waitresses so that was not the issue. Many were talking, joking around by the bar, cleaning, etc. They were not very busy neither. I usually don't complain but that's not expectable and expressed my feelings nicely. After waiting 10mins I got up and left with the kids. Then I decided to talk with a manager. Well, I expressed my concern and kept my cool. The concern seemed to be somewhat of an in convenience from the manager. She was getting a Christmas party reservation, no care was shown. She did apologize but I didn't feel it was sincere!! I deal with the public and I know what to look for. I just wished we could have enjoyed the dinner there!! I was looking forward to a nice dinner with the kids. So, Braums got our business and it was fast, friendly and fresh food. Didn't have the heart to tell the manager she had some Mayo or white sauce on her face/cheek left side. Very disappointed in the way things were handled and even the response! read more

My husband's family was in town and we decided to try Interurban. I ordered the pork chop dinner and was very pleased. It was cooked just right and had a great flavor. Recently my husband I went back and I ordered the same thing. Since I was on a low carb diet, I asked to sub out the rice. The waitress was happy to make suggestions so I could select another side. I have eaten at Interurban dozens of times in the past. The burgers are great but the fries could be better and don't measure up to Johnny's. I went there about 2 weeks ago and was disappointed to find they have removed 3 parking spaces for take out. Parking is already difficult and I have yet to see those spaces used. Being handicapped I was very disappointed that parking is so difficult. They have moved handicapped parking and while I did use it then I found the walk too much. I am disappointed that I won't be able to be a regular diner any more. read more

This has always been a go-to for my family because we never have a bad experience. Tonight was different. I ordered my usual Saint Helena salad and it was AWFUL. I know it was not just an "off night" because I know this salad well (recall I have ordered this as my usual). It normally has wonderfully cooked bacon, fresh pineapple chunks, lots of strawberries, and a very flavorful light dressing. Tonight... had what I can only describe as over cooked bacon bits that covered the entire salad (I'm thinking they poured ALL of the crumbs on my salad from the bottom of container), obviously canned pineapple mini-chunks that had ZERO flavor or color... They were colorless, 4 thin slices of strawberries (so not even 1 whole strawberry), and the dressing tasted like olive oil with a little sweetener added. It was HORRIBLE. Even the chicken looked second-grade. I ate the only thing on the salad that had any flavor... The 4 slices of apple. I wasted my money and my time going to pick up this meal and I had been excited about it all afternoon. So disappointed. read more

I have eaten here several times and have never been impressed with the food or cleanliness. My family usually avoids this restaurant, but I went recently because it was the place chosen by a friend visiting from out of town. Where I sat at our table there was something smeared on the edge that I had to cover with a napkin to not lose my appetite. Both of my companions simultaneously made disgusted faces when they first took drinks from their straws and complained that the straws had a salty, sweaty taste to them as if the waiter had touched them with dirty hands when placing them in the glasses. When I asked for an extra plate, the waiter brought me one that had dried food on it. Interurban is a great neighborhood restaurant for the entire family. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is always good, especially their hamburgers which are $5.00 on Tuesdays!! The staff is friendly and service is good. They also have a bar area with large flat screen tv's. It is a "Cheers" type atmosphere, we always see someone we know when we go to Interurban. read more

Tuesday is "Burger Day" and it is pretty legit. I don't really know about the rest of the menu, but all of the burgers are very filling and taste great. I would have given it another star if they special applied to take-out orders like it used to. read more

Just left the restaurant, I have been ordering the Theta Burger for the past 20 years, and I will continue to do so. The Burger is the best I have ever tasted, the restaurant, the service was exceptional. Definitely will recommend if you need a burger fix. read more
