Went today and had a southwest salad, So little chicken, so much lettuce. Mentioned to server that there was not much chicken. Server went to see if I could get a Little more chicken. Instead of making it right, she said that they only put so much chicken on salad if I wanted anymore I would need to pay 4$. A late lunch on Friday at the IU on Danforth in Edmond. We started with some cheese sticks. The order comes with five sticks. They were good, and we enjoyed them. I'm a fan of their IU Classic Club, so that's what I ordered. It came out just as expected, and I enjoyed the sandwich. My friend ordered the half fried chicken club salad. It was enormous and could have easily fed two. My friend enjoyed the salad. The service was good, the noise was low, and the prices were moderate. read more

I always like this place. Their Best Mex menu is really good. Got the chicken enchiladas and they are my favorite! Their borracho beans are the best! You also get chips and salsa with the meal. Service was efficient and friendly! It's a little loud in there, but you can still carry on a conversation without shouting. Highly recommend! read more

It's been quite a while since we've been to Interurban since they closed the Memorial Oklahoma City location. We were shopping in Edmond and stopped in for a late lunch. The menu has changed a bit, however still a good menu and full bar service. Hubby and I both ordered burgers - mushroom Swiss burger cooked medium and I ordered the California burger medium rare. Both burgers were cooked to order and delicious. I was happy that they actually had avocado slices instead of a guacamole spread on the burger. The French fries were fried crispy golden brown. I hosted my ladies' group Christmas party last night at the Edmond location, and everything was just wonderful! We had 18 in our group, and were able to reserve the large party room. Our server, Josh, was phenomenal! He was so much fun and so efficient with everything! The staff let us have tables to put our party gifts on, and graciously served us all evening with a smile! Josh even helped us old ladies carry our things to our cars! The food and drinks were great...I had the grilled salmon and had them sub teriyaki sauce for the lemon caper sauce. It was excellent. I usually always get the fish tacos, as their tilapia is so so good as well. I noted that Interurban has changed the tortilla chips they serve with salsa. The chips they used to have were thick, and I honestly didn't love them. These new thin crispy chips are awesome! And they served EVERYONE their own salsas with several baskets of chips for the tables, even though not everyone's meals were supposed to come with chips. This was our first time. Some friends told us about Interurban and burger days on Tuesday where all burgers were only $8.99 including a side. All I can really say is it was ok. Came in just before 5pm this evening. (To beat the rush). Ordered two salads off the menu. (Excellent t salads!). After about 40 minutes the people sat next to us who were seated about 10 minutes after received their meals. At this point our server realized we did not have our food and completely disappeared. After another 10 minutes we let the hostess know we hadn't received our food after ordering 45 minutes prior and we were going to be leaving. Got a large smile and a "no problem". This review is for how the food was prepared for delivery. The messiest pasta dish was set on top of the other dishes. All of them were haphazardly stacked. Regardless of how the driver may be partially at fault for the mess we received, I would have expected a lot better and safer packaging coming from a place as expensive as Interrurban. It looked like some had gotten ill in the bag. I have had good food and service when inside the establishment. Let's hope something like this is considered for future togo orders. A simple packaging change would have kept things from spilling all over. read more

Walking into Interurban is like entering any chain. Did I turn you off there? Good! Run away and leave the rest for me!! Seriously, I love Interurban. We don't go there when we want fancy. We don't go for fried. We go when we want to give our family meat, veg and potatoes (what we would call a "normal meal"), but we're too lazy to cook at home. Their grilled chicken is always perfect and Chelsea's honey chicken is my go to (with the sauce on the side. I get it with double veggies instead of potatoes (because I'm eating the bacon and I want to shave some calories off the rest) and I get the sauce on the side for the same reason. I share with my 2 year old who lives for chicken and broccoli, but I always order a second muffin because he WILL NOT SHARE that. Our 5 year old loves the picture menu since before he could read and feels so comfortable ordering his own drinks and meals there. At this rate, he could probably order for us, too! The servers are so friendly they have the same charm as great babysitters, and also don't hover. Tables and seats are always clean and we haven't had a bad experience in our 10+ visits. A Monday lunch at Interurban Restaurant provided a chance to relax. I ordered a classic burger with cheese and French Fries. The fries were standard fare. They were the regulation size and cooked to a golden brown. Their texture was textbook neither soft or crisp. Nothing worth writing about. The hamburger bun a soft mildly bready copious offering with a very thin crust, quite adequate for the job at hand. The meat was soft any tasty with the appropriate spongy texture and caramelized crust. The cheese was a silent partner adding it's cheesy undertone to the sandwich in a proper cheddary range. The onions were properly grilled after an initial offering and send back.their caramelized flavor added a harder overtone to the flavors giving an added dimension to the whole. It was a burger worth the eating but I would consider a different side next time. read more

Came here for a family dinner and it was a positive experience. We had a party of 12-15 and they sat us in the back away from the general dining area. Food portions were solid and in line with the price per dish. Everything tasted good. Kids actually ate the food which is a big win! Service was also real well. It's been a few years since we have been to Interurban, and I will say this with all honesty....this is our last visit here. Service was outstanding, but a 5th grader could have prepared the food better. I ordered the California burger which comes with lettuce, tomato, 2 slices of bacon, and 3 itty bitty tiny slices of avocado on a "burnt" burger. I could eat a burnt burger at home, and believe me when I say if I grill it, it always comes out burnt. The onion rings were very good. My husband ordered a Cuban sandwich, and it was small enough for a child. Ceilings need repair, and they definitely need a new cook. Sad to see this place go downhill. read more

Filthy inside and out! The people need to clean out in front of the restaurant and run the vacuum inside! This is a great old Edmond restaurant and it's been one of our favorites for years but it is trashed! If the dining room and front deck are filthy it makes me concerned about the kitchen. We walked into a not-particularly-full restaurant. We were quickly seated and brought water by a host. Lots of staff milling around, it looked like a big party in another area was ending. We picked out our orders, left the menus at the edge of the table, sat for a while, one of my kids went to the bathroom, came back, we decided to give them another 2 minutes, waited 5, still no server. We just left. If it took that long to take our order, how long would it take to get food. I just looked at my Life360 data and we were there 25 minutes.
