I took a "brand new" battery that I bought back in august and it failed they told me my charging system was failing l. I took my car to my shop. They are independent Former honda acura dealership mechanics and have been in business 12+ years. They ran a test on my battery using INTERSTATE'S OWN EQUIPMENT. the results came back that the battery was failing but the charging system works perfectly fine. I dont know what interstates business prides itself on but it sure isnt selling a good quality product or good customer service, their business practices are far too close to being fraudulent. read more

The entire visit, from purchase to installation, was about 30 minutes. They even have a device that keeps your vehicle from losing its settings when the batteries are swapped. Absolutely loved the service that I received here. I literally was able to pull up, tell them what I needed to be checked out, and go! The technician that helped me was super friendly and honest. He told me that he would first do some preliminary checks of my battery and then some additional checks to see how my battery was running. Everything turned out okay and it only took about 15 minutes. During that time I was able to run a quick errand and come back. I am so glad that Interstate was here so I could get a second opinion. I bought a 3 year battery and because I was stranded I had to pay 90$ extra for installation. Fast forward 2 and a half years and that battery dies. Supposedly the battery warranty is only for 2 and a half years and then you get a discount on a new one. I'm not paying for another battery when the first one didn't last as long as they guaranteed. an And it wasn't guaranteed. And most auto stores don't charge to install a battery. Worthless battery. Took my Omega watch into camp bowie store for watchband repair, also another watch for band repair, and another custom band clasp for a possible repair or replacement on the bracelet at store. A total of 3 items. There was a reluctance to repair any of my items which I was turned down on 2 of the items. I wasn't satisfied with the band re-attachment on my Omega and I purchased the watch from them. People are nice though customer service not good. Definitely not a custom jeweler. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I called ahead to inquire about battery installation for my car. Justin was very matter of fact and polite. When I arrived he checked the Voltage and output on my battery. Very quickly he observed that the output was 2/3 less then normal ( I had to jump my car to get there) so it was time to change it. The battery I got has 30 months exchange warranty, it wasn't cheap ($159) but I needed my car running. Will se how the battery will hold up through the scorching Texas summertime. The battery install itself was about $20 and done very fast. I would fully recommend this business! read more

I have been coming to this location for probably ten years. They are always fantastic! The staff will change out those pesky car remote batteries for you if you ask. We have three cars and all of them have Interstate Batteries. They will change the battery while you wait....only take about 15 minutes from start to finish. read more

The store is small and well organized, with a small, but knowledgeable staff. The reason for my five start review, though, is the incredible level of personal customer service I've seen. In the store the other day, I overheard one of the employees speaking with a young girl and her parents about a Pokemon watch battery they had replaced. i guess the watch wasn't really built for long term use ( or had broken ?) , because the gentleman was explaining to the girl that they needed to replace the watch. Not only did he address her by name, he had personally researched replacements as well as the names of the Pokemon featured on the watch. The family walked away delighted, and rightfully so. I'm impressed by the small-town service this corporate company has consistently shown, and I will be back nest time I need a phone battery. read more

We came in thinking we needed a new battery because ours had died twice in the last few days. After extensive testing -- on the hottest day of the year -- they determined it wasn't the battery, but rather a (very dim) light that had been left on that drained the battery. And then they didn't charge for all their time. Needless to say, they will get all our battery business from now on. These are good folks! read more

Bought a $300 battery in May. It failed in November. Took it back to interstate. They took 20 minutes to find the tester. Then determined it failed. They then charged another $20 to replace a 5 month old battery and the guy didn't use a battery maintainer when he replaced. Lost all my radio stations and gps locations. Poor quality. Worse service. I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

Make sure you have them test your batteries first. I was sold dead batteries and had too make an extra trip to make sure batteries were okay the next day. Let them know the issue and not even an apology. read more

BEWARE- Questionable business practices Went in to buy a new battery for my gate remote. When I showed the Manager the type of remote I had and described the battery he took the remote from me. He removed the 2 small screws that hold the case together identified the correct battery and replaced it. When I get to the register he tried to charge me $9 for labor to change the battery. We are talking about less that 1 min worth of work. After telling him that I wasn't going to pay for a service that I wasn't notified of he said he could cut it in half and then finally agreed to remove the charge. I realize that this is the companies policy and not the Managers but it is extremely overpriced. It is also very questionable to try and charge someone for fees they were never notified about. Who would agree to pay $9 for 1 min worth of labor to install a $4 batterie. It seems like this is to take individuals that may not realize how simple it is to change the battery. If this is how they handle the smaller details to business then I would be cautious of how they handle larger more detailed jobs. I sent an email to the general manager and received no response from them. Instead I get an email from the Manger that tried to take advance of me in the first place. Interstate Battery doesn't seem to have a problem charging exorbitant prices for minimal services and when you try to reach out to their upper managment they ignore their customers. BEWARE of these guys, this is a free service at RadioShack that is only 1.5 miles away. read more

Don't have a sign that says you install batteries in cell phones if you don't do this. Other locations install regularly. I'm not sure how this location stays in business. Do what you are in business to do. Interstate has the best batteries around and they are a wonderful company. This is why I always use them for every battery need, however not this store I guess. The one on Plano Rd in Dallas has no problems installing batteries. The manager at this location needs to figure out how to keep staff that can do what they are supposed to do. read more

I was very pleased to find out that Interstate did watch battery replacements. I had no idea. It was a great experience from the conversation on the phone, all the way through the replacement. I waited a grand total of 20 seconds before I was helped by a staff member. It took maybe 5 minutes total to get the battery replaced, and I was very pleased with the price. All that alone is worth a five star review. But the reason I gave five stars was the staff. They were helpful, fast, and very friendly. I didn't just get great service in those five minutes; I also had a good conversation with the gentlemen that was working on my watch. I will most definitely be back! read more

Dropped off a battery to be reconditioned and was told It would take a day or two at most and to expect a call. Returned to the store 9 days later and the work is not complete.
