Was looking for a reliable company to ship my daughter's car as we ran into trouble last year when our new Mercedes was shipped from California and was damaged. The shipper had a ridiculous insurance policy that required you to obtain three estimates for repair and have them submitted in on their desk within 72 hours. Fortunately, the dealer covered the damage. This time we were doing the shipping ourselves from Seattle to Rochester, New York and were given a reference to ITL by our financial advisor as one of their people had used them. Lisa was very helpful and reassuring. They were able to get our shipment scheduled with minimal delay. As you know, ITL arranges for the shipment but the car gets put on any number of trucks during transport. My daughter reports her car has arrived on time and other than dust, in great shape. Even though they might be a couple hundred dollars more expensive than the cheapest price you can get, knowing that your car will arrive as promised and in good shape is well worth it. read more

Based on all the great reviews, I contacted Interbay Transport. Excellent service from Nate and Lisa to arrange a "local" transportation. My 65 Mustang was moved from the Seattle area to the Olympic Peninsula so that I didn't have to add any more miles to the old girl. Lisa did a great job of finding a driver who could meet my schedule and the car was picked up and delivered exactly on schedule. read more

I used this company for my second cross country move. During my first move, it took over two weeks to get my car and it arrived completely filthy on the outside and with a bent antenna. I decided to use ITL based on the Yelp reviews and am so glad I did. Nate and his assistant were super responsive and worked with me to find a pick up day that fit my schedule. The actual truck driver was friendly, thorough with the car check and fast. My car arrived to me in less than a week--two and a half weeks earlier than my other belongings. The car was in the exact same condition as when I dropped it off and it was still clean. I also appreciated that even though the car trailer didn't fit into my neighborhood, the truck driver separately unloaded my car and drove it directly to me. Great service! read more

The people at Interbay were great from the get-go. Nate was helpful at the beginning and Lisa was helpful afterwards. The problem I had was with the driver of the transportation company they hooked me up with. Having never moved a vehicle across the country before, I was not familiar with what to look for. Our driver lacked communication (he arrived a full day earlier than planned, didn't update me as promised along the route and then arrived in Austin earlier than he said). I was so thrilled to be reunited with my car, I walked around the outside, saw no damage and signed my life away. The driver left and when I got in my car later, I realized it was a mess. I have a light colored leather interior and there were black handprints EVERYWHERE - the ceiling, the back seats, the front seats, the head rests. He had also obviously laid our back seats down and there were scratches in the trunk of our SUV. My husband and I had the car washed and spent an hour trying to get his greasy hand prints off everything. There are still a few left but it's better now. We think he used our vehicle to transport something inside. But that's not ITL's fault. I should have looked on the inside and Lisa at ITL did everything she could to make things right. read more

Hardest decision to decide what firm to contact. I went on a web site that you submit a bid. The vultures descended on email, text and calls in moments. The $800 bids I knew damn well were sketchy. These assholes called me and texted me for a week after I replied no or stop on the texts. One even called me out and doubted my decision. Excuse me? Reading, reading reading I finally found Nate from Interbay. Trusting the sweet yelpers that looked like they had more than 10 reviews, I picked Interbay. My car was in Seattle- I am in Austin. My job has me traveling like crazy and I was unfortunately scheduled to be out on the road when my car was projected to arrive. Nate was made aware- it wasn't his fault. Somehow by a miracle, I landed at DFW and got a voice mail that the driver was near Austin. As it turned out, I landed, took a cab to the Barton Creek Mall with luggage and there was my Mercedes! That felt good to get in my car No damage, a very nice driver. Anywhere in the country, he can broker the driver and get your vehicle to you safe and sound. read more

I totally recommend Interbay Transport. Nate gave me a quick quote; I paid exactly that amount. I had a tight deadline and he accomodated that, which was really kind. The driver was courteous and professional. Everything was fantastic, easy and fast and the car arrived in California the same as how it left Washington. OK, it was dirty, but I don't think that counts against the driver! read more

I just shipped a Jeep from Kirkland to Hilo Hawaii. I spent a good amount of time looking and getting quotes from other shippers. I was puzzled by high ratings from shipping sites but one star ratings on Yelp (I have shipped cars and other stuff from Hawaii before). Well, I decided to find a shipper with the best Yelp rating that shipped cars to Hawaii. Interbay was a winner both on Yelp and getting my car shipped to Hawaii with absolutely no problems. I rate Interbay a five star company with five star service. read more

I cannot say enough good things about how helpful and responsive Lisa at Interbay Transport is. She arranged for our car to be transported to North Carolina in January of 2014 as well as having it returned to Seattle from North Carolina in May of 2015. She made all of the arrangements for me and I all had to do was provided her with an address, vin number and a check. She handled the details and every thing happened exactly as she said it would, when she said it would. For the return transport, I was contacted personally by the driver, who surprised me by saying that the car would arrive five days earlier than I had expected. Then he surprised me further by driving the car right into the driveway, early within the time 3 hour window he had predicted. My house is hard to find and I live at the bottom of a steep, winding hill. The transporter parked his huge truck on the side of the road at the top of our hill and drove the car down to deliver it personally. I expected that he would find a street somewhere that was convenient to him and I would have to find a ride to meet him and take possession of the car there. If I ever need to ship a car again, I will certainly contact Interbay Transport and ask them to handle the transaction. read more

My very first review and it goes to Interbay Transport. I highly recommend using ITL if you need to have your vehicle shipped. We first tried using someone else who gave us a quote but then ended up wanting $300 more when they found a driver. I called Nate at ITL and he gave us a great quote and when the car was picked up the charge did not change. They were very flexible to where the car would be picked up depending on our plans, which really helped lessen the stress. When we emailed a few times on an update, Lisa got right back to us to let us know she was contacting the driver. As soon as she heard the from the driver she gave us an update. Great communications at this company and I can't recommend this company enough and will be using them again the in future! - Thank you Nate & Lisa! read more

Thank you Interbay for making the transport of a vehicle from Fort Worth, Texas to Fairbanks, Alaska run seamlessly! My son moved back to Alaska and Interbay was very fast in locating a driver to pick up my son's car and have it delivered to the forwarder in Seattle. The car arrived in perfect condition and as promptly as promised. Thanks again! You did an exceptional job!! read more

Used ITL for a second time. Again top-notch customer service from Nate and Lisa. This time the drivers were also very courteous, even after a small delay from my part in delivering the car to them. read more

Lisa handled my case with professionalism. Once dispatched, my car was picked up at my home with a flat bed which was great (didn't have to meet them at a lot). The worker looked over my car and a few minutes later it was gone. Throughout the process the office kept in touch with me. My car was going over 3k miles and they handled it extremely well for winter season. I would highly recommend them! Also an added bonus, i received my car in less than the estimated date:) whoa! read more

I contact Interbay to transport my car from Bellevue, WA to NY, NY. The process of smooth up until delivery and it all went downhill from there. Upon delivery of the vehicle, the vehicle was damaged in multiple areas (several long & deep scratches driver side, 2 rock chips on hood) and was reported immediately. Their contracted truck driver from Fast Freight Trucking Inc. had the audacity to rush me even though he neither gave me a heads up nor delivered it to the right location. I had to go 15 minutes out of my way to pick up my car because him and his son were apparently "late". Not only that, they decided to double park on one of NYC's busiest Manhattan streets. Since the idiot driver parked in such a tense and fast-paced environment, I quickly signed the release form without even inspecting my vehicle (100% my fault) since I was also being rushed by the two of them. I contacted Lisa at Interbay immediately after I parked and had a chance to peacefully inspect the vehicle, calling her multiple times and her a email with all the picture proofs of damages. No one at either Interbay or Fast Freight Trucking (contracted shipping courier) bothered to contact me for another 3 months until I contacted Fast Freight myself. Vitaliy (suppose owner) calls me to ask me why I signed the papers even though I had explained their mentally challenged driver decided to park 15 minutes away in a very tense and fast paced environment. Vitaliy then goes on to belittle me and accuse me of creating the damages myself even though there are multiple dated before pictures and I had reported the damages immediately (you can't get a rock chip on NYC streets lol). Order #5334. read more

This was my first time transporting a car to a different state therefore I had a lot of questions and Nate was very nice about answering every question. My car was picked up on time, delivered on time and the driver kept in touch with me with ETA. I am very happy with Interbay Transport and will be using them again if needed! read more

I would highly recommend Interbay to those looking to ship their vehicles. They were very responsive, the drivers were great, and my car arrived without damage. Lisa and Nate were both very helpful throughout the entire process. They provided a fair quote and there were no "hidden charges." They even arranged to have my car picked up a day earlier than promised due to a schedule change on my end. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! read more

After making numerous phone calls to different companies, that was totally wasted of my time. I was regretting that why didn't I find this company sooner. Nate is very nice and straightforward. While other companies give you wrong answers and information so they can rip you off, he will tell you the truth and gives very reasonable rate. The truck came sooner than we expected and happy to drive our car again ( getting tired of rental car). Thank you Nate!!! read more

We hired ITL to transport two cars from Seattle, WA to the Bay Area, CA. It was a smooth experience throughout and the price was reasonable. ITL provided us with a two day window for pickup and the truck showed up on the morning of the second day. The cars were delivered to us in CA three days later undamaged. The truck driver was professional and careful during loading and unloading. read more

ITL was a pleasure to work with. I am in the car business in upstate NY and have a relationship with a local transport company and was hesitant to switch to a new company. A new area of our business is selling restored vintage Italian automobiles. The restoration shop is located in Washington State and we went looking for a transport company in the Tacoma area. After interviewing candidates we decided to give ITL a try. Our first vehicle was located in Virginia and we needed cross country transport. Lisa was great, communication (emails/phone calls) was above expectations, the transaction was seamless and their quote was $400 less than average and they did not cash my check until after the car was picked up. The driver arrived on schedule and the vehicle was delivered to Tacoma Washington 2 days ahead of schedule. Great Job !!!!!! Can't wait for the next car. Bob A. read more

I HIRED INTERBAY TRANSPORT TO BRING MY CAR FROM WASHINGTON TO NEW YORK AND GOT IT A MONTH LATER! :( So why the 5 stars??? BECAUSE OF LISA THE BEST DISPATCHER EVER THATS WHY!!!! What can I say... We got hit by 4 snow storms in New York this month! (and nobody wants to talk about Global warming) -_- But anyway... almost every day Lisa would call, email or even text me to make sure I knew what was going on at all times! Wow. She even gave me the option to cancel and get my money back but after reading all the great reviews about this company... I didn't feel like going back out there to search for another one... so i stayed. And booyyy am i happy I did. Its rare to find customer service like this... she truly cared about me and about my car! Nate who handled the billing picked up the phone every time i called and never got tired of me lol. Long story short... Lisa was able to negotiate a car transport for me and I received my baby this past Wednesday... yes! the same day as the noreaster storm!! lol #GodsPlan The driver was very nice to me and was very professional. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be using Lisa and Nate again! I just found out they pick up and ship everywhere!! Do yourself a favor... if you want a no nonsense, best customer service, honest people to transport your car for you... Look no further than Interbay Transport!! THANK YOU SO MUCH LISA & NATE! Nate and his team helped me ship my car from Seattle to LA and the process was virtually seamless. I initially booked an auto shipment with a major national moving broker. They offered me a price I later discovered was several hundred dollars below the market price for a coast-to-coast auto shipment. I then waited 5 weeks just for the car to be picked up. Finally they called to say a driver was ready to pick the car up, but they needed an extra $350. I refused as protest against this bait and switch tactic. So I contacted Interbay and they gave me an honest quote from the beginning, and then got the car from the east coast to Seattle in just over 2 weeks with no damage and good service. What a contrast in experiences. I would definitely recommend ITL. read more

Great service and team! Used them to ship two cars in two years from Seattle to the NY area. Pickups were as scheduled, great communications and deliveries were as promised as well. Both cars were delivered in pristine condition. Can't say enough good things. read more

No Bull! That's the best thing about Interbay! From the quote you get within an hour or two of your request, to the fact you only have to explain your vehicle/needs once and every promise they make is kept. I had horrible experiences with other car shipping companies. Some take your $ after promising they'll find someone then leave you out to dry...not Interbay! Nate got my quote, and although it was more than other cheapos, the yelp reviews convinced me to try it. Within a few days they had a carrier scheduled and got my car picked up by the most professional and clearly experienced driver. Was able to communicate with Lisa at Interbay the entire time, as I was nervous and skeptical after being burned a few times by other shipping companies. She kept me reassured all would be fine, and sure enough, my car arrived in Florida right on time and as good as new. Payment is hassle-free, and if any questions come up you can rest assured Lisa will be happy to answer them. I communicated entirely through email (Interbay) and text (driver), and always got responses within the hour, if not minutes. I would definitely recommend Interbay to everyone. Five Stars! read more

I needed to write this review because my experience had very little resemblance to all the 5 star ratings. The first issue is that only 5 star ratings are shown so it will be interesting to see if this remains on the site. I chose ITL because they were local. They were more money but I was extremely anxious with all the companies and their claims. Based on the reviews and the local contact, I contracted with them. I had to change the date of the pickup and from that point, I seemed to be blamed for every failing. I COULD not receive any tracking information. I was just told (by Lisa) the car would arrive between 8 and 11 days from date of pickup. On the evening of the 8th day, I received a call saying the car had broken down and needed to be repaired. They were hoping to get it to me by the 11th day. I was told by Lisa that there was no way to track the car and I would just have to wait until the driver called me. It was supposed to be delivered on the 12th day. Waited and waited. Talked to Lisa on the 13th day who had alternated between being very good to chastising me to telling me the car was picked up a day later than it was to recalculate the days to saying it was really all my fault . Blame the customer. Nate's respond was to send me a copy of the contract which tells you that nothing is their fault. I was aware of that but surprised by the lack of interest in customer satisfaction. On day 13, I waited all day and it did not come. Lisa said it would be day 14 that the car would arrive. Lisa is very good at one word responses so I thought she had confirmed the car's delivery for day 14. When it did not arrive on day 14, I received another email that was sharp and unforgiving stating that I was just "one customer" and there are others. Each day I wait and wait and cannot make plans. ITL has my money and my vehicle and will not/ does not offer any other information besides I will get a call 2 hours before it is delivered...whenever that may be. I feel like I was being shifted from the angry Lisa to the kinder Lisa although I do not believe there was any reason for this aggression. Lisa verbally offers to talk to Nate about a refund/discount for this trouble. She says it will be small. I paid $1200 and she said they would send a check for $50. Their disclaimers say they are not responsible for anything but customer service goes a long way. I received a check. It was $25.00. It was not about the money but I consider this more insulting than trying to appease an unhappy customer. And I do not believe I can be the only one who had an experience like this. In clear terms, Lisa told me more than once that there is no way to track the car and just wait until they call. I waited from day 8 through day 15, everyday waiting. Hard to believe that all those 5 star ratings were only random reviews and not carefully chosen. read more

I needed to transport a car from NC to Seattle without a lot of notice. ALL of the transport companies I talked to were quoting the same exact price and their reviews were spotty at best. I chose Interbay because they were knowledgeable and honest. They explained the system of hiring and contracting out the work and told me that our carrier would not ever come up with some "extra fees" due to weather or whatever, as can be customary. Our vehicle was picked up the very next day, and though our contact information was not toally ironed out by then, the driver was persistent and called all the numbers to reach us. The car arrived road dirty as would be very normal and the transport truck was full. I ahve NEVER seen a loader like this one, it takes a mechanical genius to run it. Our driver kept in touch with us all day on delivery day. We tipped him with goodies and homemade jam, and in a heartbeat I would call this company again. I paid about 250.00 over the rest of the competition, but they are local to Seattle and have a vested interest in keeping local people happy. Good JOB! read more

Moving to the Bay Area for a new job - yay! Cue the heavenly harp sounds. Drive my 16 year-old honda civic from Seattle to SF in the winter? Cue the violin horror music. I really needed my car and Interbay Transport saved me from my white knuckle drive all the way down to California. After reading the yelp reviews, I decided to request a quote. The quote was a lot less than I thought it was going to be. Since I needed a car to get around, it was money well spent to have my familiar ride transported to me, and even better that I was able to fly down without worrying about the logistics of driving. Booking online was a breeze and Nate was fast to respond. Lisa kept me informed of the status of my transport and my trusty civic arrived just as I had left her. Drivers were nice enough to call me ahead of time and give me an estimated arrival. I definitely recommend Interbay and would use them in the future! read more

I am currently deployed overseas and purchased a 2014 Mitsubishi Evolution located in Seattle, WA. I needed to transport that vehicle to Corona, CA before my home coming. I contacted those high rated broker companies and they kept referring me to a shady transport company with terrible reviews and all I could find were horror stories from previous customers. I was close to giving up until my wife suggest I look on yelp, I found Interbay Transport and my prayers were answered. I requested a quote via their website and received a great deal, but if that wasn't enough they also gave me a military discount! I had some additional questions so I emailed Nate and he was extremely helpful and quick to respond back to me. I was sold and completed my order on Tuesday at 10am. The next morning I received an email stating that Lisa would be working on my order and that she had a carrier scheduled to pick up the vehicle later that day. The car was picked up at 11am on Wednesday. So far, I was very surprised with how quickly the process had been initiated. The car was originally scheduled to arrive a week later from the pick up date. On Thursday afternoon I was informed that they would be in the area the next day so they would be able to deliver the car early. The car was delivered on Friday evening at 6pm. Needless to say I was left in awe from their ridiculously fast service. It is a total of 1,990 miles from Seattle to Corona and thanks to Interbay Transport the task of transporting my vehicle was completed in an incredible 4 days from start to finish. I'd like to thank them so much for their awesome work, I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to transport their vehicle. What an amazing company! I'd like to thank the driver. I didn't get to meet or speak to him but thanks to him, my car arrived in the same condition that It left Seattle in. Thanks again ITL!! I am ecstatic about the amazing service I received with Interbay Transport Logistics. My husband and I moved to Arizona from Washington and planned on driving separate cars. At the last minute we decided that we would prefer to ride together and took to the web to find a shipping company. Since we had never shipped a car and had heard scary things about it we decided to read the reviews here and we are so glad we did. We contacted Nate at ITL two days before the move and before we even left town everything was in place and ready to go. The quote we got over the phone was the exact amount we paid. We got accurate info with quick responses from both Nate and Lisa . Lisa also kept me updated on the status of things and when my car got picked up my grandparents told me the driver was so nice to them. When it arrived in Arizona on time and in perfect condition, the driver had trouble getting the rig into our condo community's tiny roads. He ended up parking on a larger street around the corner and drove the car right into my garage. Then he walked back ( in the terrible AZ Heat). I offered to drive him back because it was a street or two over but he said it was no problem. That is service! If you are considering using this company please do! They are serious about customer service! read more

I heard about Interbay from my colleague who moved from Seattle to Austin and she used their service. A month ago, I had to move to Seattle for job relocation and I contacted Interbay to ship my car from Austin to Seattle. Overall experience was great with Nate. He promptly responded and followed up with a quote and spent time explaining the process. A pickup date I had was less than two weeks from the date I called but Nate helped manage the pickup and delivery schedule effectively and accurately, and I meant it. The pickup driver was on time and the delivery date was a day early than I expected. However, the driver managed to deliver during the time slot that I was available to meet me at the convenient location for both of us.
