Used Seattle Auto Shipping to transport 2 vehicles for a state to state move. Tom got us a great price and the dates we needed for the move. Customer service along the way was phenomenal. Driver at pickup was super great and delivery driver kept us updated throughout the process.

Car barely cleared the ramp

Car pickup for a $200k+ Audi R8 was very bad. Paid $1400 for Seattle to LA enclosed trailer. For pickup -- driver couldn't fit the car easily in the ramp, and made me stand in the ramp just to hold it down so it could work. They should have brought a second person or a different ramp for a low sports car. He was also nervous and unsure, and when he pulled in the car it was so close to the side he couldn't get out of the side door and climbed on the top of my car and slide down the windshield. For drop off -- driver was also late by a day. The text reminders said Nov 3-4 and they said the driver would call day of for drop off. He did on Nov 4 saying he'd be there in evening time. However I got a later call he wouldn't be there til 11pm and asked for the next day Nov 5. Overall -- I had to rebook my work flight from 5th to 6th just to wait for my car. They said it's guaranteed in 7 business days so it's technically within delivery window, just the driver confirmed Friday 4th on the phone and then changed to Saturday 5th. It felt uncomfortable with the loading experience and unreliable with the delivery window. The car didn't have any damage thankfully so I added a star. To resolve -- I spoke to their team who called for feedback at the end and asked to amend the issues. Edit: they have escalated to management and we're very helpful so added another star to make it 3. To close, I don't recommend for luxury cars as the pickup was a scary experience -- in my search, I found the place with best ratings and quality price (since I don't mind paying for great work) but the service was bad overall and caused me a lot of stress during my move.

Honda Fit was shipped from south Florida to Seattle.

I live in Seattle but bought a car from a friend in Florida. I was starting to get overwhelmed researching shipping companies / costs since all of the websites ask for your info then spam you with various quotes. I finally figured out that I could just call a local company even though the car was out of state since Seattle Auto Shipping is a broker and schedules the actual shipping with one of their various partner transport companies depending on the location (they used USA Auto Transport for my shipment). I spoke with George and he was very helpful in explaining the process, answering my questions, and helping me get started. They shipped my 2010 Honda Fit to Seattle from south Florida for $1,200 (which is the going rate on an open air / uncovered semi. Covered shipping is extra). The price included their insurance coverage up to $100,000 (It's still wise to have the car be insured with your company as well) and they said I could put up to an additional 100lbs in the car if I needed anything else shipped with it. I called on a Monday and they were able to arrange USA Auto Transport to pick up my car on Wednesday. They guarantee it will arrive within two weeks but it only took 8 days to get here. They also won't charge your card until they have picked up the car. They picked up the car from my friends house in south Florida and, while they do offer door to door service depending on the location, I live on a very steep narrow street so I met the truck driver at a spot about 10 minutes away that was more suitable for him to unload. He called / texted me as i requested on the days leading up to his arrival to update me with his ETA. I examined the car for damage (I had my friend take photos before it was shipped) and found none so I signed off and that was it! Overall, I'm very happy with the service. I recommend calling as I was unfamiliar with the process of a shipping broker but George at Seattle Auto Shipping told me everything I needed to know and the process was exactly as he described.

Seattle Auto shipping got my car to where it needed to go in one piece. Reasonably priced and very helpful. I would recommend them.

My car was picked up in Seattle Wa and transported by Ivan to Lexington SC. I was initially very nervous about sending my car off with a stranger. Jordan B was professional and courteous and answered all my questions which is why I chose this company for the transport. Ivan who picked up the car was professional and put me at ease. He was quick, the car was picked up on Friday morning in Seattle and in Lexington SC on Tuesday morning. He obviously didnt waste any time. Thanks again.

Your boxes are moved from truck to truck by who knows and they can be total amateurs and nobody takes responsibility when there is a problem. My bicycle was completely ruined beyond repair. Someone along the way decided to rip it all apart for some reason. They never told me why. It still hurts me to see these photos. The insurance company they offer is useless. They offered me $1000. Less than half of the cost of the bicycle. Still mad about this although it happened a while ago. Will probably never forget it.

The scheduling pre-move was done very well, it is nice having a dedicated consultant to help with your paperwork. Day of my move, I had to call the consultant a few times to get an updated ETA for what time my movers were arriving. The movers finally contacted me with and packed up my items within 3 hours. For reference, I had 1 BR apartment's worth of furniture. Most of the packing went smooth, they do their best to wrap every item in blankets to avoid damage in the truck. However one of the movers did damage my bookshelf when packing up, I was assured this would be fixed upon delivery. Additionally, if the items you provide on the pre-move checklist do not match the number of items *exactly* upon pick up, you will get charged extra. Delivery took a while, they give a 10 day delivery window and my consultant assured me this wasn't the norm, I should expect closer to 3-5 days. My movers arrived after 9 days...being in a new city with no belongings for 9 days isn't ideal. The contractors performing the delivery were thorough however informed me they were legally not allowed to help fix my bookshelf, which was disappointing. None of my other belongings were damaged, but a few days later I did receive a message from LDM asking if I had received any boxes that weren't mine as another client was missing a box.. Overall, my move distance shouldn't have taken 9 days to deliver items. And I wasn't happy with the damaged bookshelf. Additionally, hearing that another client lost a box isn't very assuring.

He was extremely patient with me calling him many times about the logistics, deposit and payment, etc. because I'd not shipped a car before. Pickup of my car happened within the 72 hour time window I was given, and delivery actually happened on the shorter end of the estimated time. I had packed a number of boxes into the car very neatly (sight lines were clear for the driver) and GAT didn't give me any hassle about extra weight in the car (although I was afraid I had gone beyond the 100lb. allowance). Car arrived in good shape, although I wish they had put down a paper protector on the driver's side floor mat - it was very muddy. D.C. has rules about big truck haulers on city streets so my car was transferred to a single-car flatbed for delivery at no extra charge. I was able to pay the driver the C.O.D. charge electronically, which was great. Working with GAT was a good experience.

I was very pleased with his communication, and he didn't seem to be annoyed by the endless amount of questions that I had for him. I had never had my car shipped, so I was nervous and I was told so many different things by many places, but something about Anthony kept me calm, and I trusted the reviews on Yelp for SCS. I liked the quote Anthony gave me, and how calm and sure he was of their business. He also replied through email very quickly. There is a direct deposit, and it was reasonable and taken out immediately. I also kept in touch with a very nice lady named Elina C. She was a logistics coordinator and clarified that I'd need to stay in contact with a driver named Igor of Vyrado Logistics in Puyallup. Again, I was a little confused in this whole process being new to this business, but Elina reassured me that nerves are normal and that they'd ship my car in about five days. I was shocked because every other place said that it'd take about 7-10 days, and one place even said two to six weeks, which is odd if they can drive hundreds of miles a day, and Detroit is about 2300 miles. The funny thing is that the ones who said it'd take longer said it'd be safer, but it was more expensive and it'd take longer than what GAT said. I kept in touch with Igor, he was nice to allow me to put a lot in my 2010 Civic (more than the usual amount with no extra fee), took pictures, gave me electronic forms to keep, and then he was off with my car on the carrier. It's nice that they do business door to door. He was also accurate with the times he gave me on pickup, and kept in touch well through phone. He let me know I could pay after he dropped off the car, and that cash was preferable. I forgot that GAT said that the carrier who comes decides what amount I need to pay in, so I called GAT right away and told them I was confused why I needed to pay in cash? They reminded me that again, it's up to carrier, and Igor was flexible also mentioning I could pay cashier's check, money order, or credit card but it'd be an extra 5% by card. I told him I'd have the cash ready. I just received my car about an hour ago, and we are all surprised at how it got here in a timely manner, just five days! It took a little bit just because he had to take the cars off to get my car down safely, but I'd rather have him do it in his own time and well, instead of rush and risk damage. He was very careful with the other cars too, and told me I could wait inside because it was chilly out here. After he was done putting the other cars back, I thanked Igor, and I am overall very pleased with GAT. Car was dusty from going across the country from Tacoma to Detroit, but this was well worth it for such a great price. Thanks guys! Y'all made my day. :)

The person who contacted me, Bruce, was extremely kind and helpful, and did a great job at making me feel like my concerns mattered and were being taken seriously. **WARNING - Misleading Pricing & Delivery Commitments**…read more I'm writing this review to support someone close to me who had an extremely stressful and disappointing experience with this moving company. They initially quoted a lower price and promised a shorter delivery timeline, but once the belongings were picked up and payment was processed, the story completely changed. The move was from San Jose to Seattle. The sales agent, Ari Kalfon, promised delivery between 4/27-4/29 and quoted around $1962. After the shipment was packed and already in transit, the customer was suddenly informed that delivery could happen as late as 5/8. This extended timeline and the concept of "guaranteed delivery" were never properly explained during booking. Additional charges were also added shortly before pickup for extra items, and once the shipment was gone, communication became extremely poor. Calls were ignored, emails went unanswered, and there was almost no visibility into the shipment status for nearly two weeks. What made the situation worse was the lack of empathy from the staff. Important personal items and even medicine were stuck in transit, yet the response received was basically: "It will arrive when it arrives." As a result, she had to stay in an empty apartment, sleeping on an air mattress and dealing with unnecessary physical and mental stress during an already difficult move. Moving to a new city is already overwhelming, and customers deserve honesty, transparency, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, this experience felt extremely misleading and unprofessional from start to finish. Would not recommend this service to anyone expecting reliable timelines or transparent pricing.

Before I get started if your considering this company DONT here is why. Mark Kaplan came to my home and went through each room making his own notes on everything I required moving. I gave him full access to every nook and cranny and let him make his own notes as I wanted the company to also pack my belongings. Based on his finding he then sent me a quote which was initially very attractive, it comes with a full page Guaranteed price (OR SO I THOUGHT). The day came for removal and they turned up on time and packed all my belongings and off the truck went. 3 days or so into our journey as we were driving to Florida I get a call from Mr Kaplan "It seems we needed to use a lot more boxes than estimated" was the gist of the conversation. Well you provided the estimate and if anything I have reduced my inventory not increased it so its not my fault I replied. You then get a call from Amanda Rey. We have a problem there were more boxes than intended its and extra $2295.00 (THE CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH). At this point you are well and truly S.....d !! they have your belongings on a truck and you wont see it unless you pay the extra. They will tell you, they will open a claim (give you a false claim number but will never do anything with it, see later). So I paid and my belongings turned up, in fairness the team unloading were very good except when they purposely mentioned they had taken my TV's out of a wooden crate in the van ( long story but Kaplan told me my 4K TV's would need a wooden crate which did not happen and when I complained about this lo and behold it was mysteriously in the van, well I went out to the van there was no wooden crate to be seen, MORE LIES and DECEIPT). So now the full reveal begins, as we started to unpack the reason for the extra boxes became very clear. Cross Country Movers are experts in packing boxes with PAPER !! not your belongings or not much but lots and lots of paper (see photographs) not only that they can wrap a single plastic bowl in 4 sheets of paper and a single plastic lid in 3 sheets of paper (so they wont break!!) and then they stuff it full of more paper. So it went on and on, we have bags and bags of paper not small bags 60 gallon bags. Stay well away from this company they will rip you off. BIG TIME
