**WARNING - Misleading Pricing & Delivery Commitments** I'm writing this review to support someone close to me who had an extremely stressful and disappointing experience with this moving company. They initially quoted a lower price and promised a shorter delivery timeline, but once the belongings were picked up and payment was processed, the story completely changed. The move was from San Jose to Seattle. The sales agent, Ari Kalfon, promised delivery between 4/27-4/29 and quoted around $1962. After the shipment was packed and already in transit, the customer was suddenly informed that delivery could happen as late as 5/8. This extended timeline and the concept of "guaranteed delivery" were never properly explained during booking. Additional charges were also added shortly before pickup for extra items, and once the shipment was gone, communication became extremely poor. Calls were ignored, emails went unanswered, and there was almost no visibility into the shipment status for nearly two weeks. What made the situation worse was the lack of empathy from the staff. Important personal items and even medicine were stuck in transit, yet the response received was basically: "It will arrive when it arrives." As a result, she had to stay in an empty apartment, sleeping on an air mattress and dealing with unnecessary physical and mental stress during an already difficult move. Moving to a new city is already overwhelming, and customers deserve honesty, transparency, and respectful communication. **WARNING** THIS IS A SCAM. This is an absolute scam where they sell you services quoting minimum price and shorter delivery times and once you are locked in and have shipped your stuff, they start charging you more and talking about delayed delivery. I was moving from San Jose CA to Seattle WA and dealing with sales agent Ari Kalfon. I needed delivery by 4/27 in Seattle, he asked me to schedule pick up on 4/20, quoted a price of $1962 and promised delivery between 4/27-4/29. At the time I said I have 15 boxes and he said I could take up to 30 at the same price. Finally I ended up having 25 boxes and I added a mirror and 2 bar stool for which 2 days before pick up he added $200. I said okay. Then, after my stuff is packed, the operations guy tells me your 10 day delivery window will start on 4/27. After I shipped, I get an email from Ari's manager Pavel Kushnir, saying the delivery could happen anytime between 4/27 and 5/8. Until this email I had no idea it would take this long. I called Ari multiple times and every time he would ask me to call after 20 mins, eventually he stopped answering my calls. I then tried reaching out to the customer support who then got me connected to Ari who still said it will not take till 5/8 and it should arrive earlier. At this point nobody was responding to my emails or calls or giving me any visibility into my shipment status. I was furious. I would not have gone with this service if this was the case. Over email, the manager Pavel tells me I would have to pay for guaranteed delivery which was never mentioned to me at the time of sale. They charged my card right after pick up and I had no visibility into where the shipment is for 2 entire weeks. To top it, the behavior of these two people was unacceptable. I was running out of a medicine which I had shipped and I requested them to prioritize this but the response I got was 'It will arrive when it arrives'. I did not have a choice but to stay in an empty apartment, sleeping and sitting on an air mattress and screwing my back. I would have planned my move much better if right expectations were set. I was completely scammed and was sold different pricing and delivery timelines. I would not recommend California Seattle Express. Moving cities is a stressful business and these guys DO NOT HELP YOU. read more

I hired California-Seattle Express for shipping my car from Seattle to the Bay Area. The quote was $700 which is more expensive than most quotes I received. I signed the contract with them expecting a better service. I told them I need the car by June 11th and please arrange early pickup so that the car can arrive on time (it's also OK to arrive early). The car is ready to pick up a week before but they picked up only four days before the scheduled delivery date. The guy picking up the car told me it will arrive in four days. However, when I checked with the customer service a day before 11th they told me it will arrive two days late on the 13th. I do understand delivery date can vary depending on the traffic conditions but it will be helpful if they can inform me promptly about possible delay so that I'm prepared. If I did not contact them I would still be expecting the car to arrive on the 11th. They later told me the car will arrive between 5 to 7pm on the 13th and without any surpirse, my car did not arrive until 8pm. I was hit with another surprise when I started to drive my car - a piece of plastic has detached from the chassis of my car which later fell off completely. It turns out they did make sure there were no scratches on the car surface, but did not take good care of the car's chassis. Overall, they managed to get the car delivered and the price was guranteed, but the service was substandard. I will not recommend this company. read more

I was helping my friend to look for a transport company because she was moving to a different city. It had to be done ASAP since she had other matters to attend to. So, I went on yelp and found this place! I went online and filled out the form for a quote of how much it would be. They gave my friend the best price possible out of all the other companies I've looked at! It's very affordable as well. They also have all kinds of services ranging from moving pianos, cars, housing, etc. The following day I made an appointment. The process went very smoothly and nothing was damaged or missing! There was also no miscommunication with the company either, super happy with that! My friend loved it and she would use this company again. She recommends it to anyone! My brother got a new job offer in Seattle and he lived in the LA area. We had no idea how to go about finding a moving company who would make such a long move with decent pricing. I called around and came across these guys had a good rate also they were helpful on telling me the process they do and how about they are going to pack the things so on. They showed up on time and were very polite also had special bins and crates for delicate valuables. Everything was wrapped neatly and professionally making sure all corners of the furniture was secured and on top of everything they secured it even more with moving blankets. We arrived to Seattle and everything was delivered safely just like how it was before LA. My cousin needed help transporting her car from her place to Seattle for school so after many different attempts with other shipping companies we found this place online. when we called in they actually offered us a better price then all of the places we checked before and also provided us with insurance for the car for the long trip; needless to say we were pleased with their quick shipping service, (as we planned to get the vehicle shipped out within 2 days) and the communication was great. they even sent us photos of the equipment that will be transporting the vehicle for ease of mind. Car came in quickly, no dents or scratches and the driver was friendly. We will definitely be using this service again. Thank you! This is the place to go to if you're trying to get anything moved! Had to move into my new home last week and they were the only company that was able to help me the soonest! The price they had per mile shipped was a lot cheaper than most of the places i searched up. They came to my place on time and even explained the whole procedure! They even showed me the equipments that were going to be used to move my items and protect them. Everything came to my new home on time and there were no damages! I really recommend this place!
