I had a flat tire after hours, and five other companies did not answer at all. One place finally picked up but asked for an unreasonable amount of money. This team responded right away and genuinely felt like lifesavers after a long and stressful day. They arrived in under 30 minutes, loaded the car quickly, and took me straight to the service center. Leo was incredibly polite, very careful with the car, and explained each step so I felt safe and supported. The price was also half of what another company quoted me. Excellent and reliable service. Called to check in on the status of a fax that they forgot to send, and the woman who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. She promised they would get the fax sent over "very soon." This fax was important for our operations and for the registered owner. Four hours later, we had not received the fax. We called back and a man answered the phone. He was immediately hostile and began blaming us for calling and wasting his time. "Our office staff isn't even in yet, why are you calling?" He did not apologize for the fact that they had forgotten to fax the form TWICE. He did not assure us that it would be done. He did not offer any solution. He simply made it his mission to scold us for politely checking in on a form that should have been sent hours ago. I'm not sure what the man's name was or what exactly his role was. I assume he is a tow truck dispatcher who was having a bad day. Regardless, normal people still know how to be polite, professional, and courteous even on their off-days. We do a lot of business with Mac Towing but if this behavior continues, there are many other tow companies that we can rely on to act professionally. I would not recommend Mac Towing unless you are okay with being bullied, belittled, and patronized. I cant imagine calling them during a stressful event and having to talk to this man. My car died about 2000 feet away from the Lexus dealership in Bellevue. The original towing company ASAP (far from it) at 4pm said it would take 3hrs, they didnt show up and then they said they wouldnt be there til 11:30pm!! I called Mac Towing and Dan said he'd be there in 15 min. He was there in 10min! They are one of the best towing companies hands down. I had a tire blow out on I90 the Friday before the 4th of July weekend. Every girls worst nightmare!! Even worse, I was heading to Seatac to catch a flight. I called in a panicky state. They were two hours out. Jeremy from Mac calmed me down and gave me instructions on what to do. Then told me to take some deep breaths and to order an Uber and call him back. Got the Uber ordered. called back and they told me not to worry about my car. To catch my flight and call when I returned. They held onto my car and towed it to a local tire shop once I was home. Beware! Predatory behavior with a guy who yelled angrily at me! I started my experience by calling their phone service who said they couldn't provide a fee or estimated cost. This should've been the first red flag, which I learned too late is not normal for legitimate towing places. They said the drivers handles the cost estimations and the phone person didn't have access to financials. Later I realized how absurd that sounds, you work in the industry and have no clue what a tow could cost? Like you've never seen a receipt your whole time there? Anyways I accept without knowing how much it'd end up costing, because I was impatient, in a pickle, and they probably knew that. Later, when I speak with the tow truck driver, he refuses to give me a copy of the fees before payment or to outline them for me. He says he'll provide a copy after I accept and pay. I should've known at that time this was probably illegal or super sketchy (accepting first, before knowing the total cost). When I asked him about it (in a neutral non-offensive voice), he started immediately getting agitated and raised his voice at me. He said if I wasn't going to pay, he was busy and was going to leave. Obviously I didn't want my car stuck and to wait for another company so I caved in. I assured him I was going to pay, but I was just curious what I was paying for exactly and wanted a copy for my records. He started getting even angrier and physically started to move to leave. Wow, I was already stressed and didn't need someone else yelling at me, not did I want to be stuck longer. So I just handed him my card and took the hit. I later researched this online and apparently it's common predatory tow truck behavior when they know you're in a bind. After picking up my car from Mac Towing I noticed a small crack in my front window (where I would assume one of their lights fell off). The crack has grown and after 3 times calling them I have still not received a return call. Just a response that the manager also drives and they have no idea when he will be in next. Hey everyone, some of you may know my car got stolen from Evergreen Hospital where I work at 10:27 AM. I purchased a new car and accepted the total loss. Insurance did not give me a dime. Right before Christmas I had to come up with a cash down payment. I filed a police report explicitly stating do not impound. It's a 1995 Acura Integra blue book $700 to $1400. Not valuable enough to impound. I have a teenage boy who has been begging for the car. I promised if it was recovered he could have it. I received a letter Monday January 29th from Mac Towing stating they had impounded my car 2/25/25018 for $225 and $60 per day. They sent me a letter but went ahead and started charging days before snail mail go to my house. I received the letter Monday night and called first thing Tuesday morning. By this time they were demanding 588 if I took it Tuesday. I explained the car was reported stolen and not to be impounded per my police report. Ken the manager at Mac Towing kept saying he followed the law. I Did RESEARCH and learned it is standard to run plates before towing so if the car is stolen they are to call the police. Kirkland police never received a call. The car was literally accross the street from where it was stolen!! Too much effort to actually look for my car. It's slso too much effort for the police to call Mac Towing even though they did not follow protocol. Driver could lose his liscense for this. Attorney Generals office did not care. My car Insurance agent said pay them?? I can't afford to pay them. Now they will auction my car off and force me to pay the difference. I thought extortion was illegal. I also don't understand why they can sell and profit from my stolen car. I guess all the pawn shops and used car lots should be made aware that selling stolen property is legal because police won't serve and protect. I received a five over speeding ticket on the freeway. That keeps the whole force busy i guess. I've seen multiple sting operations with 6+officers ticketing people who unlawfully use the carpool land to get on the freeway. Full time job!! Anyway, I'm stuck. Please repost this and tell everyone. Don't use Mac Towing they don't even run plates when towing a seemingly abandoned car. Funny because car thieves just hot caught in Kirkland. How many other stolen cars are being ransomed back to the victims of theft? Did you know the officer woukd not even run me home when I got stranded at work? Wow. What a courteous company. Had some rude little punk park in my paid reserved spot tonight. He's been tagged before for it, and decided that because he "couldn't find a parking space" that he would park there again. (Yeah, buddy. Parking in Seattle is a commodity, and those of us who pay for it aren't going to be inconvenienced just so you can park your busted up little Honda someplace where you don't have to walk...) Called MAC Towing to resolve it, and when the kid came down and started mouthing off, the driver basically told him to move his car or have it moved, then called to confirm afterward that the problem had been taken care of. I thought i needed a tow for my car, cause when changing a tire something got bent and scraped against the wheel. I know nothing about cars and was kind of worried i was going to have to spend a lot to get it fixed. Enter Mac Towing who came to move my car to a shop, but the driver who's name i've forgotten, asked my problem and turned out it was something he could just bend back in place for me. This saved me money for a tow and now all i needed was to replace my tire. I didnt even get charged for them just coming out, and i felt bad i didnt have any cash on me, cause i totally would have given them a few bucks anyways. So while they didnt actually tow my car, for their outstanding customer service and helpfulness of the driver, I gave em 5 stars. I had a fantastic experience with Mac. After my son's car was stolen and recovered, it was brought to Mac. Minus 2 wheels and with a shaved key jammed in the ignition. Dan helped me strategize a solution and when I brought the 2 new wheels/tires he was kind enough to put them on for me for free, after hours. He made a crummy situation feel a lot more manageable. On January 22 at 9:23 pm, with my wife and parents, we got two flat tires after hitting a pothole on I-405 and called our roadside assistance service, who called Mac Towing. They said it would take 90 minutes. We then called an Uber to take my three passengers home while I waited on the side of the road. Just after 90 minutes had passed, I called Roadside Assistance again to get a status update. At that point, they found out Mac Towing had silently canceled the job because they couldn't transport 4 people. They didn't tell us, they didn't tell the service, they just left me sitting on the side of the road in the dark waiting for an hour and a half. If they had just called me, they would have found out we know tow trucks aren't passenger vans and had already solved that problem. At the very least, they should have had the courtesy to call and let us know they canceled the job. Worst customer service ever. read more

No-one wants to have to call a tow truck, but for the second time in the last few years we've needed one and Mac have been there and delivered great service. Friendly, helpful office staff (Ashley), a very accurate estimate of when someone would get to us (important on a cold day!), and a very professional recovery operator (Kevin) made the best of a bad day. Good and Honest. They've done work on our Mercedes RV and our old Ford Excursion and always been fair. My powerstroke had a bad oil leak. I filled it up and dropped it off, expecting the worst! I got a bill for $97. The parts were almost a dollar for an o-ring. I told them "What a rip off! Ace had them for fifty cents!" :) They are great. read more

After my initial review, I was contacted by the general manager, Ken. During this phone conversation, he apologized profusely, and let me know that Owen was no longer employed at the company due to multiple complaints. The fact that Ken took time out of his day to validate my feelings and apologize for the lack of customer service I received, was refreshing and appreciated. He offered to pay for the tow that I had to pay for. At the end of the call, he also asked for my address to send me a free tow, on them. Although this phone call did not take away the bad experience that I had with Owen, Ken stepped up and totally changed my opinion on the company. Overall, I am thankful that Ken reached out to me and knowing that they value customer service, I now won't hesitate to use them in the future. read more

They said it would be 45 minutes-1 hour and they were there almost immediately. Ken showed up and offered to try and jump my car to see if it would work instead of just towing it. This Towing Company responded to a call from a clerk at a store, wanting my car towed from their parking lot. However, I was a customer at this store and had just left this store to go across the street to visit another store when the call was made to tow my car. I was only gone for a brief period, about 20 minutes when my car was towed. I believe a towing co. has the responsibility to ask more questions before they just tow a vehicle. My problem with this towing company is that they didn't care what I said, that my car should not have been towed and impounded because I was a customer at that business where I was towed. My problem with this towing company is that they forced me to pay over $400 to get my car back and they only had it less than an hour. I will be contesting these fees and the towing and impound of my vehicle. But how can they charge over $400 for less than an hour and while only moving it under 2 miles to their impound yard from the parking lot where I was towed from? These fees are unreasonable and unjust and they need to be regulated. read more

This is the worst company my family and I ever had to deal with and If I could give them a negative rating I would. First off I'd like to say thank you to Kevin, the guy who towed my car, he was the only one from this company to actually help me and give useful information when he came to get my car, But everyone else was and is a joke. Okay so If you want to be lied to ask for Ashley. She will give you false information. She told me they were open on weekends and I could come get my stuff out of my car but never told me there is a $95 charge because technically they aren't open on weekends. She also will give false information to insurance companies if you're dealing with them for an accident. There is also an employee there, a middle aged African American woman, who never once gave my parents nor I her name, who has hands down, the most horrible customer service. She made my family and I feel like an inconvenience to her because we were there to get my belongings out of my car. She also made us feel we had to rush to get my stuff, take pictures of my car and for me to say goodbye. We tried to talk to her but she completely ignored us, so our questions we had couldn't get answered. My mom and I also specifically told this woman multiple times what insurance company my car could be released to, but they only take verbal concent not written which is not going good in their favor because they released my car to the wrong insurance company. Also all their tow yards look like an actually dump and it's very unpleasant. But If you want to deal with horrible customer service and possibly loosing your car because they let the wrong people take it, this is the place to go! But I highly recommend to never call them and NEVER let them tow your car. read more

Unblievable service. My 10k truck attached to my 7k trailer stopped working at a stop light which is the exit of a freeway. A little panicked, I googled MAC Towing and called. I was put right through to the manager Ken. Explained my situation and Ken said he would call in early a driver that was not scheduled until later. Last Thursday we where in jam, car broke down in Monroe with my ex and my daughter, called Mac towing around 6 pm just to ask how much to tow our car back Kirkland and explained my ex and my daughter was stuck with no one else to help get them home, the dispatcher was excellent btw and explained to her our situation she said give 5 mins and I will have a driver give you call. No less the 5 mins go a call from Kevin super nice driver explained everything, and boy was he on it he said give me 30 mins to get out there. I am in auburn at this time and playing phone tag with my ex, she calles me about 25 mins later saying he is there and getting the car. I have to give 5 plus stars to you guys not only did you get my family back home safely, but it was less then quoted and above and beyond excellent customer care making my ex feel comfortable and less stressed just from having a smile and being friendly. You guys definitely are great company!!! And train your guys right, cause being able to smile and being friendly to people have a bad makes it not so bad. Again I can't thank you guys enough!!!!
