From the initial estimate to the project completion, Kay was always on time, and always went above and beyond to answer my questions, talk over options, and provide recommendations. I am beyond satisfied with the quality of the work. Kay paid incredible attention to details and made sure I was satisfied with every step as he checked in frequently throughout the job. There were no surprise extra charges and he finished on budget and within the promised timeframe, even though I had him do a completely unrelated garage window replacement in the middle of the job! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Kay again for any job big or small, and I will be recommending him to anyone who is looking to do a home project.

Wise Choice uses a platform for selecting materials and so forth that was great in theory, rather questionable in practice, and our wires got crossed more than a few times. The time issue was simply that the projects took a bit longer than we'd planned. The time problem though was at least partly our fault (changing our minds about design, etc), and that was compounded by suppliers actually sending the wrong product on occasion, so certainly not all a Wise Choice issue. Other than that, they were great to work with, very pleasant people all around, very conscientious (cleaning up work spaces thoroughly every day), and the entire project came in under budget! We will definitely reach out to them again for our next remodel.

We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

The project included removing and adding interior walls, relocating a door, enclosing another doorway, moving electrical with permits, and replacing the flooring and baseboards. Ivan's bid was competitive, and the final cost was exactly what he quoted aside from a few minor changes I asked for. What stood out most was the communication and organization. He created a shared calendar so I could track the project, and because I was out of town for the first week, he sent me photos regularly so I could see the work as it progressed. He said the project would take two weeks, and he finished it on time. Other contractors I spoke with had estimated three to four weeks. The quality of the work was excellent, the job site was kept clean, and the few changes I requested along the way were handled easily and graciously. I would absolutely work with Ivan again. In fact, I plan to have him bid on another project at my home.

There were no surprises, and everything was communicated upfront. Ivan is also very trustworthy and friendly. He always listened carefully to what we wanted, never pushed us in any particular direction, and respected our decisions. He was proactive in taking care of additional work and addressed even the smallest concerns my wife had, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the quality of work and the entire process exceeded our expectations. He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" We noticed a small leak where the deck cover connects to the house, water was dripping from the soffit boards. Naturally, we were stressed about potential water damage and repairs, but when I reached out to Tim, he responded within minutes and sent his team the very next morning!
