Tyler and his crew came in and did a great job painting my rental. The previous renter was chain smoking in there and caused some serious damage at least I thought. They said that they could take care of it as to where you wouldn't even know anyone smoked there before and it's been 3 years and have had no issues at all. Tyler & Jeff, owners of Seattle Skyline Painting, are the most responsible, communicative, & professional service providers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Our poor house, a 2-story w/multiple roof lines & a horrible paint job done in 2014 by a local, unprofessional & unethical paint company who used the wrong product, still tacky & collecting bugs 4 years later, needed miracle workers. When Tyler & Jeff came to do the estimate, they arrived in a white van, marked with their logo & shirts with their names on the front & logo on the back--the real deal. They were 100% honest about the amount of prep work needed to create a smooth surface, but then they had an idea. A few days later, they returned & put the plan in action. IT WORKED! They wanted to make sure they could do a professional job & boy did they ever. Tyler & I communicated via texts & phone calls. I always knew exactly what was going on. They arrived on time & put in a grueling 8-hour day w/their assistant painter Glen who was amazing. Anything we wanted done, they did, always focused on our happiness with the end product. They even went above & beyond, such as putting an overcoat on our worn wood front door at no charge (see photos). I could go on & on, but check out the pics for yourselves. Tyler and Jeff are easy to work with. They say one thing, and they do that with a smile. I had a condo I was helping my buddy sell and I was on a tight schedule. Tyler and Jeff showed up for the estimate and took pictures, and really inspected the place to make sure they knew what they were getting into. I have 14 foot ceilings, crazy closets (14 feet), and cracks and picture holes everywhere.....Not anymore. 1. On time. 2. On budget (competitive with anyone out there. I am middle aged and cheap...and these guys were more than fair) 3. They don't take smoke breaks all day. They don't smoke(I always smell my contractors for smokey smells...don't like it in my house) 4. Hey, I am a computer guy, i have no taste. These guys gave me options with paint tones. 5. I am not a christian, but if Jesus was a painter, he would hang out with these guys. I don't tip anyone. But these guys? I tipped because they treated my friend's house like their own. We hired Seattle Skyline to remove our popcorn ceiling and paint several rooms in our new home. After receiving a few quotes, we went with Seattle Skyline because of their expertise and their detailed explanation the process. Though the popcorn ceiling removal was not cheap or pleasant to live around while the work is completed, they made it as easy as possible. They gave accurate estimates and regular updates. The time I contacted Seattle Skyline Painting was 2021 late July. The owner, Tyler came out for the exterior paint estimate. He was quick to respond and very easy to communicate. Unfortunately they were all booked for the season. I agreed to wait until 2022 but it was worth the wait. Co-owner, Jeff came out for the wash, explained the process and answered all my questions. Their crew was so friendly and worked so hard to make sure everything was what I asked for. It took 5 days to complete and I felt so comfortable having them during those days. Their website shows how legitimate their business is - insured, bonded, license info, payment options and such. We requested a quote from Seattle Skyline to remove popcorn ceilings, patch and paint our living room, dining room, entry way, hallway and four bedrooms. The ceilings in the main living area are vaulted so they weren't the easiest to get to. What we didn't anticipate was that the ceilings tested positive for asbestos, so we had to hire a company who specifically handled that first. We'd also have to completely move out of the upstairs of our house for about two weeks for all the work to be done. We had a few issues with the asbestos removal company so we were very happy when Tyler, Jeff and their crew took over for their part of the work. They patched the ceiling, sprayed texture and painted. It looks great. They showed up when they said they would every day and provided daily updates, which we really appreciated. Tyler also arranged for Woody's Hardwood Flooring to put new wood over a very ugly beam that runs through the middle of our ceiling. They ended up with the wrong materials due to an error by the lumber company and both Woody's Hardwood and Tyler stayed until almost 8pm one night to make sure that part of the project was completed so they could stay on schedule. Woody's did great work as well, and came back a second day after expecting only a half day job. When they were almost done with the ceilings they gave us a great quote to paint all the walls, which we were going to have to do anyway so they did those too. They even cleaned up a bunch of the mess the asbestos crew left, including pulling out hundreds of staples near the top of the vaulted ceilings and in the molding. Their whole crew was great and Tyler stopped by every day to check on things. I'd highly recommend them. read more

I highly recommend Tyler, Jeff, and Glen from Seattle Skyline Painting! They did a PHENOMENAL job on my 1940s craftsman home, and I couldn't be happier. The whole home needed a bit of a refresh before moving in: wainscoting, trim, built ins, closets, ceilings, all needed a coat of paint. There were many holes in the plaster that needed patching, old bookshelves that needed to be removed, trim that needed to be caulked, etc. The project took about four days, and this team worked really hard to make sure it all came together and at a very fair price. I told them I felt like they remodeled my whole house... the difference is incredible. My neighbor even came over yesterday to say she was so impressed with their work ethic that she wrote down their name. They were such a pleasure to work with that I'm not requesting a bid for the exterior. Call them, you won't be disappointed! read more

This is my second time working with Jeff and Tyler and they exceeded expectations. In a word, they are amazing. The scope of work was a 3800 sf house with lots of trim, a large amount of wall holes and some high ceilings in addition to regular walls and bathrooms. The crew was once again meticulous with the work and detail. I noticed the crew being similar to the previous job about a year ago at a different house (see my other review) which I think speaks to their ability to recruit and retain a team of people that you can trust in your home. As I was doing a full reno, I had other trades come through and all commented on how great the paint job was and asking for their name. I honestly can't give them enough praise for their work. If I had another house to paint, I would feel comfortable just handing them the keys and returning when the job is done because they can be trusted with the work without any supervision.
