It was that time of year again to have the A/C checked to make sure it was set to handle another hot Charlotte summer. This time Karsten G. was the service professional to call on us. After the usual introductions, I started to show Karsten where all the equipment was. He said he was first going to check our thermostat. I had contacted Integrity about a month ago regarding what I thought might have been a problem with the thermostat. He checked it and said it needed a slight recalibration, which he did. He upgraded the A/C condensate drain tube and we had him install a second drain pan float switch. We felt he did a great job in checking over the A/C and was very knowledgable in any qustions we had. We fell comfortable we'll survive another Charlotte summer. read more

They installed a new unit and we had problems which they came back out twice to try and find the problem, My husband wound up finding out what was wrong. The problem was water sitting in the exhaust pipe and they told us we were basically on our own to fix it and the company they recommended to do the work was lost about having to break our ceiling up to get at the pipe and basically a nightmare conversation with them, Integrity charged us twice for the two visits and said they would reimburse us the 200 dollars which they then said they never told us that we would get any money back. They reimbursed us $1.41 after all was said and done, We paid alot of money for the new unit and after it was installed Integrity just basically washed their hands of us after it was done. They are not people of their word and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Condenser fan motor went on Saturday. Had prompt reply when contacted integrity. Tech arrived within and hour and made determination of what was needed. Because it was holiday weekend unable to get part. On Tuesday received call from Maddie to inform me part was unavailable locally. It was ordered and being overnighted. We switched our service provider to Ingregrity Heating & Cooling Last year. We had been using the previous business for 7 years. We started to questions certain repairs and found out that our services were not done completely. We were sent to Integrity by Costco. We are very happy with our service and feel like we can trust them to not lie about unnecessary repairs. read more

We have been customers with Integrity for 2 years now and would never consider going anywhere else! Every time they have come out to do a checkup on our systems they have taken the time to explain everything very clearly to both my wife and I. Any time we call there is always a quick response with a friendly, polite person on the other end. Most recently Tyler came to fix an electrical issue and absolutely knocked it out of the park! He showed up on time and wearing a mask. He took the time to check every wire from the thermostat to the compressor and was able to find a small cut in a single wire that was shorting our system out! While this all sounds like "he did his job", it's not only what you do, it's how you do it! He was extremely professional and went above and beyond our expectations. read more

I have been working with Integrity since 2004 when they were Alpine. They installed the units in my house when it was built and I have used them since for all service and maintenance on my heating and AC units. I have never had an issue with response or timeliness. I have never once felt like I was getting "upsold" on unnecessary work. The technicians are always polite and don't hesitate to talk to me like an equal (no "dumb woman mansplaining"). I will continue to use them for the foreseeable future. Not sure why the bad reviews here as I have nothing but good experiences. read more

I think the technician was very professional and honest but the company's prices are completely ridiculous. To replace a $26 capacitor the company charged $191.00 + $89 service call. Diagnosis and repair took less than 40 minutes. That's $375/hr for labor!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE: During the repair the technician either disconnected the drainline and forgot to reattach or accidentally snagged something on it on the way out of the attic. The drain pain overfilled and flooded the attic collapsing the second floor ceiling. $2000 in damage and an emergency call to another HVAC company to remedy. The owner claimed that it was a faulty install 14 years ago and the drain line "just happened to work itself loose" within 24 hours of their technicians visit. Unbelievable. They eventually covered about 75% of the repair cost after repeated excuses and lots of time and frustration on my part. No such thing as "INTEGRITY" here. read more

This company needs to understand the meaning of Integrity. (the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness) This is the second time within 1 year that we have had problems with them. Last year due to their inconsideration, we each had to switch days off of work to wait on technicians. Once the technicians came out and let us know what the problem was, they scheduled to come back out in 2 days, in which it took them 10 hours to install a new unit. We did receive a nice potted plant from them. 2nd time- We spoke with them on Tuesday once we noticed our air was not working properly. They set up an appointment for the technician to come out on Thursday 12-4:30. By 3:30 we were still waiting and hadn't heard anything from them. We had to call 3 times before getting in touch with someone to tell us the technician was running behind. We finally received a call from the technician around 7:10pm. Asked if we were still home and if he should still come out there, it would take him 30 mins. We of course said yes. He "assessed" the problem only to tell us that it should have been taken care of when the unit was put in. Also explained that they really don't have set times, the company just tells a time so they won't get yelled at from customers. (Great Customer Service) tell us a time, just to wait and still show up late?! Friday morning around 9:30 we called to see what the next step was, however, the technician had not turned in his report. We finally receive a call around 4pm to let us know that "their guy" can't come out until Monday, we were the 2nd person on his list. The lady who called us argued and basically called us a liar, that she had called and spoken to us, once we explained how late it was when the technician called. Around 1pm someone called to see if we were available. We said yes, that we have been waiting ALL Day. It is Monday at 4:30 and we still haven't heard from the technician on when they will be out. At this point we have missed work waiting. As well as we still don't have answers to the problem. I am sure that there will be more to follow! I am highly disappointed in this company. I will not refer anyone to them. "Integrity" is a joke. read more

To start with, I paid them $6500.00 for a HVAC unit with a terrible install. They installed the furnace where you couldn't get to the filter to change it. Secondly, they lied by stating that they would service the unit for one year. Then they wanted me to show them in the contract where they said it. Absolutely ridiculous! Charged $89.95 just to tell me there was no power to the unit. Had my electrician come out, everything was perfectly fine. The technician, although "professional," in the sense that he was both courteous and had good customer relations, didn't know to turn on the breaker to BOTH the AC unit and the Air Handler. Then came out on a second visit, charging me another $60.00 to give me a quote of $3400 to replace JUST the compressor. Then had their project manager come back on a Thursday, was supposed to give me a quote on Friday for the replacement of my entire unit... Here it is, Tuesday, still no quote. Had another company come out, on Saturday, they didn't charge for first visit due to my issues with Integrity. Compressor will only cost $1100, and replacing unit quote already received. Spoke with the owner of Integrity today, who could only say "I am working with the project manager on getting the quote.. What is the address?" and "I will speak with the technician about protocol." Poor customer care if you're going to 1) gouge prices 2) send out inexperienced technicians 3) promise times and not get back with customer 4) do not care about your customers experience or crediting them the second visit charge, when your technician was at fault for that. Bottom line: I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. read more

We purchased our system from Integrity around 4 years ago. Since then, we have had 3 things break. Each time, we found out our warranty didn't exactly cover everything like we were told. First time something broke, they didn't even have a part. Imagine having to wait for over a week during summer while they try to get the part in. Second time we find out the part that broke not only wasn't covered by warranty, but was also not even a Trane part. Now our console has gone out completely. Not sure if I would ever buy from Integrity or Trane again. I am not sure that all of the technicians actually work for Integrity. read more

THINK TWICE before using this company. This company does not stand by their product. I had an a/c unit and heating unit installed by "Integrity" 4 years ago. My A/c unit went out last week due to a faulty part and leaking coolant. After this being repaired for $500(half of which were service fees). I had to call a technician back to come find the leak the leak is in a coil that is covered under warranty but the service fee for the repair was $1200!!!! After 4 short years! This is what loyalty gets you. I now will get the a/c unit repaired or replaced but certainly not from this company. After 4 summers this unit should be running perfectly and the manager was rude and set on not standing by the product they put into my home. read more

Had to replace my old heat pump recently. I had been using Integrity for my twice a year regular service so I ask for a quote. Vaughan came to my home right on time and did a survey of the situation. He prepared proposals on three separate products, explained each, and answered all my questions. Ultimately we agreed on a system and price and set up the install date. I moved to NC a year ago and when we purchased our home we were recommended to use Integrity Heating & Cooling by a friend. To date, they have been responsive, professional and accurate. I had to place a service call today due to my upstairs unit not blowing heat (not good when it was 12 degrees outside). I called at 8:30am, left a message with an answering service, received a call back within 20 minutes from the office lady and had a 12-4pm window. I guess due to the cold temps I wasn't the only one with heating issues. At 12:30pm I received a call & email (with picture) that their technician Tim was on his way. Tim arrived around 1pm. After troubleshooting the issue, Tim found the outside drain pipe had frozen (ugh). He disconnected the pipe & got the heat running!! Now here is where I'm GRATEFUL. Tim could have been shady and said it was something else and try to sell me extra parts or service not needed. He didn't try to gauge me. He gave me a quote to insulate & said what I could buy to DIY. No pressure & a fix!! Thank you INTEGRITY & Tim. Would never go anywhere else!! read more

From the salesman to the installers to the owner, this company is 1st class. Never have I had such conscientious workers in my home. They treated me and the work area they were in with the utmost respect. But what really impressed me the most is their concern for my satisfaction of the work they did. The owner personally asked me if I was happy with how it turned out, and I am. Even the office accountant asked if was satisfied with the work, and I told her I am. Integrity is just a name with this company. I was having issues with my AC not blowing cool air so i called this company out to have them diagnose the issue. Little did they know I had already called a competitor and this was more or less a 2nd opinion. The technician although professional was attempting to sell me at the door with his scripted intro and pamphlet offering me some service package. After he evaluated the situation he presented me with a 7 item list of issues with multiple levels of criticalness(previous company noted water in a pan, and low capacitor).He stated that level 1's and 2's were required to "Get me up in running for the night" Included he noted that I needed 5 pounds or $500 worth of coolant. I thought this was odd since the previous company noted that my coolant levels were good and I also had coolant added to the system last summer. He claimed that my system took a maximum of 5 pounds and required the entire amount, when i asked him if he was claiming that my system was completely empty of coolant he stated that "It was possible". Because I was aware that this was a flat out lie I agreed to pay the service call and asked him to leave. All in all this company provided me a quote of nearly $1,500 and I had a competitor come in and remove the water from a secondary pan and clear up a blocked drain for less than $200. My AC is working perfectly and I didn't have to be robbed in order to accomplish it. I would never let this company do any work in my home, they will take advantage of unknowledgeable customers. read more

DO NOT USE INTEGRITY! Do not be mislead by the stickers on the Integrity work trucks, these people are not experts they are fools. After complaining of noise and pressure from the new Trane unit and duct work they installed, I was told by their service tech, Daniel, that what I am experiencing is in my head. I called another hvac company for a second opinion and learned the supply vents are too small, should be 4x10 and 4x12 not the existing 2x10/2x12 and the blower speed should be at a lower setting. When I contacted Kent, the owner of Integrity, I was told what I am hearing is the unit turning on. He sees no problem with the unit or work performed as it was done per his specs and will not be held responsible for any additional work to solve the problem. read more
