They have denied me service because I had the audacity -- ONCE -- to supply my own part! They stated this is their existing policy which was news to me. I call 'em like I see 'em on both sides, meaning I leave reviews both good and bad for everyone, I speak my truth. I've lived in my residence 18 years, with my original AC unit and gas furnace. For the entire 18 years, I've had a slow steady leak & calling an HVAC company to refill refrigerant has been the drill for a long time. I've been through every scenario imaginable-AC pan full of water, AC unit freezing, AC drain clogged & plumber required, you name it - I've been there -- including with every other vendor in town. My next strategic move was to purchase a home warranty -- jury is still out as to whether the decision was cost effective. The BEST result of the home warranty decision is: Air72! In ALL my 18 years of AC vendors - they are hands downs THE BEST!! It isn't JUST the tech, or JUST the installer - it is EVERY person on staff! I began with what I thought was the same ole same ole need to fill low refrigerant and ended up purchasing a 3 ton unit. Yeah... huge purchase, but willing to and WANTED to purchase from them. I have been using Air 72 services now for 3-4 years; they are by far, most professional HVAC services I have ever dealt with. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and considerate; they are straightforward to work with, they always get the job done, and if there are any issues or problems after the work is completed they will fix it in no time. They stand behind their work and you can be rest-assured, even years later if something goes wrong, they will find solutions. Doug is a great HVAC technician. Mary-Jo in the office is always helpful and works with me to schedule work on time that is convenient for me. Hand down best price, customer service, and quality of work. Fact that they are only want look up for duke energy discounts and etc. you can't go wrong with em. Other "big" company try to charge me mid 5digits while they are doing it for high 4digits it's amazing. Plus we replacing two units not just one! If you're burning up with no AC, I wouldn't advise calling Air 72. First of all, it will take them longer than 72 hours to get out to you. Second, they work for and/or with the home warranty people and basically screw you out getting the warranty company to pay for service and then quotes you a huge price for them to service it on your dime. Serviceman was at my house for 10 min, left without telling us what the problem was, and then I waited four days before I received a denial from the warranty company. On top of that he turned off the unit under the house and we would not have been able to turn on fan (or heat in winter) if I hadn't called out another company to check it. Rip Off!!! read more

Air 72 is the best! The owner explained exactly what was wrong with our air conditioning unit and fixed it on the spot. The price was fantastic and the service was wonderful. This company does not try to over charge you and knows what they are doing. My friends air conditioner also just broke. I recommended she call Air 72 and they were able to replace it with 2 days. After carefully examining our two air-conditioning units and the furnaces, they explained clearly what was going on and how to fix the problem. They gave us the costs up front, and I believe they were reasonably and competitively priced. (BTW although I didn't expect it, they used disposable shoe covers each time they came in our home. ) This is an outstanding HVAC company in my estimation, and very highly recommended! read more

We have used Air72 for many years and they continue to "beyond EXCEED" our expectations. We are not easy customers, not by a long shot, so our recommendation carries some weight! While we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, where we are acting as our own GC, we totally blanked on who was going to do the installation of the electric downdraft. The person that the appliance store highly recommended never called us back, and time got away from us before we realized that the gas company was coming to install and the downdraft had to be in its place. With extremely short notice, I called Air72 and explained my situation. John the owner was out the same day to look at the project and within 24 hours he had a crew here to perform the installation. The entire team was extremely professionally, but more importantly extremely knowledgeable. There were some structural obstacles and the team talked us through their strategy and gave us several options, keeping us updated each step of the way. Air72 is truly an AMAZING company with a phenomenal staff! We also purchased a new AC/Heat pump from them last year, and the installation was professional and clean.
