My doctorwants to do knee surgery but I wanted to see if I could either delay the surgery or get in the best shape for a more positive outcome. I started working with Albert Chen at the recommendation of a friend and he has been outstanding. My range of motion has improved, amstarting to get some strength and the constant pain has dimenished, particularly as long as I keep up my exercises. Now I am in 1x/2 weeks to keep my motivated to do the work on my own and have him massage my knee and do range of motion stetches. When I was moved closer to her for another treatment, I asked her to leave because her coughing was spreading germs all over the place. She made a sarcastic remark. Life-changing. I've been going around all these years thinking that I wasn't very limber, thinking…read morethat you're supposed to wake up with stiff joints and tight muscles, but it doesn't have to be like that. Working with Dr. Bill, I've addressed pain I didn't realize I was carrying. My daily headaches are gone. My feet used to give me trouble if I stood or walked too long; now they no longer ache. I can turn my head to check my blindspot while driving without having to turn my shoulders! My pain is gone and my range of motion is better than ever. My lower-back pain (due to years of sitting like a potato) is resolved. He also showed me the right (and easier) way to sit with proper posture. It's an incredibly simple fix, but it's not obvious until you've been shown by an expert. In some ways, I feel better than I did when I was 20! haha It does take some work. Dr. Bill will show you how to do a number of highly targeted exercises and you'll be expected to do them between sessions (as best you can, but he'll also share videos with you so you can continue to improve on them). But the amazing thing is that the exercises are designed to help me at my level, so even though they require some work, I don't feel fatigued like I used to feel whenever I tried to work out. I feel energized, which is amazing if that's how most people feel after exercise, because that's new to me. If you're thinking - yeah, yeah, but my pain isn't that bad - maybe you're right. But pain is really the last indicator that something is off, so if you're at the pain-stage, then it's something that already needs addressing. It's like when a car's tires are unbalanced. Sure, it can drive from A to B, but after a while the unevenness will catch up to it, and it'll start having bigger issues than if you had just balanced the tires at the start. On top of the exercise routine Dr. Bill has shown me, I've had cupping, which is way more beneficial than I could've imagined, and dry-needling, similar to acupuncture. In general, Dr. Bill likes to use a balanced and client-specific approach, so you'll get a solution that fits your highly unique situation, and not some cookie-cutter program. It costs money, for sure, but it's a pretty standard rate for the service he provides. Not to mention, the service and the results are by far better than anything I've gotten anywhere else. Like I said above, life-changing.

Based upon my experience, this is not the place to go for rib injuries like costochondritis. I had…read moretherapy here for 6 weeks and, while they were able to increase flexibility and strength, they really do not deviate from their playbook which did not include addressing my main problem and what brought me into the office to begin with. When, after about four weeks, I mentioned to Chip that I believed it was costochondritis, he was rather dismissive, even after I forwarded information to him about the condition. Well, if all you want to do is run your playbook, who needs a diagnosis? At that point I started to look elsewhere. Upon discharge, he admitted to me that they have not had as much success as they would like with rib and hip injuries. I would've preferred to hear that at onset. Also, I do not recommend spending the $1000 for their laser therapy. The results for me were extraordinarily temporary, despite being applied directly to the rib cage area during my tenure there.. 2025 Update: I was able to get significant relief from an out of state osteopath who specialized in OMT and was able to place the ribs back into place. Forget wasting your time, energy and money on practices that do little more than run their play book.
