Great staff with understanding of each person's situation. Willing to explain options and implement recovery strategies. I feel like the best thing about this facility after the great staff is the water therapy. Using the pool to exercise was a life changer for me. If you need PT this is the place. read more

The staff really cares about patient health and progress. They work together as a team seamlessly.

I was suffering from hip bursitis. With the pool exercises, I gradually got stronger and more stable. The "land" exercises and stretches towards the end of my treatment were very helpful. The staff and therapists were so friendly and knew my name when I came in. Everyone including the front desk were friendly, and fun! I enjoyed going to each session. I'm back to walking around Shelley Lake, and stairs are not painful. Thank you Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond. read more

Can't reply to owner post to my review so posting a second. He said small amount of dirt. Let me tell you it was more than a little. Mold above the pool. Look up! The things used in the pool are thrown back in the mix. No cleaning. Yes there was dirt on the ac thermostat but that was the least of the dirt/ mold. I have asthma and sensitive to mold. He did attack me and get nasty. He emailed me apologizing so I will need to get on the pc to post that. I am sure he is trying to save his business with this reply. Save yourself and go to the one inside of lifetime. The care is tailored and MUCH better! read more

Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond - Here is what I was sent after updating my review. It will stay. I don't do threats. Will let this speak for itself - Physical Therapy Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

I am a 77-year-old male who tries to live a somewhat active lifestyle. I have been a patient at Aquatic PT and Beyond since the Spring of 2016. The knowledgeable and skilled Physical Therapists there have helped me rehabilitate a number of injuries ranging from total joint replacements to spinal fusions. (Yes - I'm accident-prone.) With each injury or surgery, they have carefully assessed my deficits and developed a treatment plan that effectively restored me to my daily routine. I am currently recovering from a total hip replacement. I anticipate they will have me back to cycling as soon as the surgeon will allow that activity. read more

Absolutely amazing staff. I worked with them right after my knee replacement 5 yrs ago and needed to return because I did not maintain the exercises. They got me tuned up and back on track within 3 weeks! I used both the pool and the gym 3 days per week and had great results. I highly recommend them. read more

Thrilled with my progress and respect and like physical Therapists. Love pool option. read more

I am a former collegiate athlete and current athlete. I drive over 30 mins to get treated here. I have been treated here on a few occasions for a few different injuries. I have done both the gym and the pool. I worked with Elizabeth and her intern Tallin, who were both amazing. Elizabeth is a former collegiate athlete who was able to treat and push me so that I could continue to compete at a high level. Anytime I needed to cancel, reschedule or schedule my appointment it was never any issues. Christina and Joylin at the front are very personable and greets you with your name. All the therapists are very knowledgeable but of course my favorite is Elizabeth. The owners have a presence in the office as well. They also offer dry needling which was very beneficial for me. I have been treated at a few different centers, I will say that this one is by far the best. read more

Am 76 and have extreme challenges with scoliosis, etc. in addition to severe osteoarthritis. In the past several years, have been to eight physical therapy places and NONE of them compare to Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond. For starters, they offer intensive AQUATIC physical therapy much more focused than usual aquatic physical therapy elsewhere and also a separate physical therapy room. These people are seriously dedicated to getting OPTIMAL results - not to mention they are all great people!! Am making much more progress at "Aquatic" than any of the other places. They also do their best to schedule patients at a convenient time. I wouldn't even think to go somewhere else! It took me years to find this place - so happy and relieved! read more

My name is Celeste Winterberger. I have had multiple back surgeries including a spinal fusion. Pain relief of several varieties has been only a little successful at best. I even have an implanted spinal stimulator. Aquatic Physical Therapy is helping me regain some muscle tone and range of motion. They are challenging and kind! I appreciate the positive attitude there, and the commitment to really helping. They are also VERY good at keeping everything clean and Covid free! Thanks APTAB! read more

I'm 66 and recently did a two month stint with the Census Bureau with overtime as a field enumerator. Up and down 3 flights of dozens of apartment building stairs blew out my right knee and lead to a Dr. saying - quit. Fortunately, I found APT&B - Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond from a personal referral. I'm confident that without APT&B I would still be walking in agony to this day. Geoff and the crew (including graduating interns) were totally awesome. It was no nonsense 'hit the ground running' (in water) after their first evaluation at the onsite gym. I have been to other local PT offices but PT combined with the pool workouts cannot be beat. Yes - cannot. Moving otherwise painful joints with the aid of buoyancy accelerated my recovery like no where else. I now expect to be kite surfing this spring. Really, it's like I have a brand new knee and I'm back to my 3-5 mile walks with no pain no surgery. Geoff also gave me more than floor exercises to rebuild my knee. He also helped me to figure out how to get down and off the floor so I wouldn't re-injure my knee while I was healing cause I just started another physical job that required floor work. APT&B is busy but they don't keep you waiting. It's very clean with changing rooms, lockers and they have a shower if you need it. Right off 540 at Falls of Neuse you'd never know it's there at the back of a building. APT&B also has a pretty good playlist on Pandora to listen to as you crank out the reps. They can let you 'cool down' in the jetted hot tub if you need it. This place is all that and a bag of chips - You don't know what you're missing. I highly recommend them. read more

Cold Laser Therapy and PT at Aquatic PT and Beyond has changed my life. 22 years of neuropathy from cancer meds left me with hardly any feeling in my feet which resulted in poor balance and inability to walk without the use of a cane. My expectations were to be using a walker and eventually a wheelchair but that has changed in the last few months. After my treatment I have been walking confidently without the use of a cane and my balance is much improved. read more

In 2021 I ruptured my achilles on my right foot and i have to say it was a really tough time for me. This PT clinic is excellent. They also have water therapy in a pool which works better for the pain. They provide a full hour if therapy. They are very creative with your therapy as they use all sorts of methods to help you. My left leg had edema for some reason and the doctors did not have an answer or solutions. The PT therapist wrapped the leg with k tape several times and the edema was gone. read more

I have been to many physical therapy firms due to 10 back surgeries and Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond is by far the best. They do not subscribe to a cookie cutter approach and constantly assess the patient and actually listen. Their deep water pool offers an innovative approach with the minimization of gravity to allow therapy without the pain encountered during exercises and stretching. I strongly recommend you give them a try and see what they can do for you. read more

I will preface this review by pointing out that I do not usually provide reviews for anything, good or bad. However, I was very much compelled to take the time to provide a review here because of my experience with Aquatics Physical Therapy and how this may be helpful for many others in similar situations. For those who are not looking to read a long review, just KNOW that Aquatics Physical Therapy and Beyond is a second-to-none physical therapy provider that is leagues above any other physical therapy provider that I have ever been involved with. I would not recommend any other place in the triangle, or within a feasible driving distance of Aquatics, to anyone in need of PT. Aquatics PT and Beyond is hands-down, the best. For those who do not mind reading and prefer to be a bit more informed before deciding on a PT provider: This place is like a finely tuned machine composed of knowledgeable, talented, friendly, and extremely passionate Physical Therapists and PTAs that truly care about improving your physical condition. From the ownership to physical therapists to the supporting office personnel, it is very apparent that they are a cohesive team that looks out for and collaborates with one another. I am very skeptical about health providers due to many bad experiences, but for once I cannot find one negative thing to say about this place. I will point out that I live in Holly Springs, work in Durham, but still CHOOSE to drive the distances because of how beneficial and positive of an experience it has been. I have been playing competitive sports all my life and have suffered countless injuries and undergone multiple surgeries as a result. In turn, I have done PT in a variety of settings and at many different locations. Did I mention that Aquatics is the best? They provide one-on-one therapy with full attention during the entire hour of your session. They are not focused on passing as many patients through the door as possible, but instead focus on improving the patients physical condition. Over the past several months I have had the opportunity to do therapy with most of the therapists and can honestly say, there is no weak link. It is a talented group that is ambitious about being experienced and knowledgeable in many areas and techniques. They are friendly, fun, and challenging all at the same time. I once heard a patient jokingly admit that half the reason why he came to PT was because he considered everyone there his friend. In all seriousness, I strongly recommend this place and can honestly say that I look forward to PT, which is something most people would say they dread. read more

I have been a patient with Kristine off and on for over 10 years, Kristine and her staff are all knowledgable, friendly, and most importantly professional. Kristine has not only helped me through all my surgeries physical but also emotionally, she kept in constant contact with my surgeon, practiced many modalities to help revive my pain, encouraged me to work hard and most importantly had a heart of compassion. Aquatic PT and Beyond does just that, they go beyond the norm! Forever grateful to you Kristine and your entire staff! Dana read more

Thanks to the great Physical Therapist here I can now open my car door to get out, shower better and sleep better. I still have a lot of work to do. One of Raleigh's best kept secrets. Well I am excited to be the one to let the secret out. I have dealt with a series of ailments since 2011. I have tried almost every physical therapist from Franklinton to Wake Forest and Raleigh and then my Dr. Recommended Aquatic Therapy. Honestly when I arrived to my appointment I said to myself "here we go again" with no enthusiasm whatsoever. I stayed quiet and absorbed the atmosphere. 15 minutes later I was running my mouth like they knew me forever. The owner's personal touch made it even better. I suffer from a laundry list of disabilities and each therapist designed my work out according to my disabilities. This has never happened to me at therapy before. It was then I finally saw a light at the end of this painful tunnel that has plagued me for years. Most importantly especially during this pandemic they are social distancing in the pool, the gym and the whirlpool yup they have a whirlpool and the cleverness to have a treadmill in the water for people like me. I was sold. I never used to get excited to go to therapy but thanks to these guys my bags are packed the night before; waiting by the door for my next session. Thank you Aquatic Therapy and Beyond. Oh before I go I can't leave without telling you guys about the convenient location. I live in Franklinton and its a breeze for me to get there but for those who don't they are right of the 540 beltline. Which will allow you to avoid the crazy Raleigh traffic. read more

I have been going here for 4 months now. Staff is very knowledgable, cordial, pleasant, professional and understanding...especially when you are struggling with pain. Facility is very clean. People should definitely get a referral to come here for PT or contact their insurance companies to cover the programs offered. read more

I have been a patient at a number of different physical therapy facilities here in Raleigh, as well as in other states and Aquatic Physical Therapy & More is by far my favorite facility, with my favorite therapists and I truly wish I had not waited so long to try them out. What's different? First and foremost, I am comfortable with every single staff member - they are professional, know what they are doing, are friendly and truly make you feel at home. They actually take an interest in you and are truly there to help and that has not always been my experience with other companies. The facilities are well maintained and the atmosphere is professional, yet comfortable. The pool and the underwater treadmill are AWESOME and can be real game changers. I was initially extremely hesitant and self conscious about the idea of aquatic PT and potential embarrassment as I am NOT comfortable in any type of swim attire, but the pool is small, the staff and other patients are friendly and not at all judgmental, and this is the perfect type of PT for me and my long suffering knees. The pool is a comfortable temperature and there is a hot tub you can relax in for a bit afterwards. The maximum amount of patients in the pool (which is more of a large tank) is about 4. There are usually 2 or 3 people at a time, but sometimes you luck out and have the pool all to yourself. I have just graduated from using only the pool to also using the gym facilities/machines, and I enjoy that as well. For the first time ever, I actually look forward to going to PT. I have been here since October 2019, and have loved it. I should also note that they have been especially careful about cleanliness during Covid 19, and I feel very comfortable continuing with my PT during this time. I really recommend that you give them a try! read more

Great positive people! They are all ready to help you . Love the pool nice setup.
