My experience with CORA Physical Therapy at the Apex location was nothing but amazing. I had a…read morebunionectomy on my left foot back in September 2020 causing my left leg to be weak and uncomfortable compared to my right left. About a month after my surgery, I was referred to do physical therapy with CORA. I was honestly skeptical, didn't know much about physical therapy, and frustrated that I'm not healing as fast as I expected. On my first day, I was welcomed by Shane, a travel physicals therapist, who listened to my complaints and struggles with zero judgement. He made me feel comfortable and excited to work on my left leg and foot. When Shane wasn't available, I was seen by Jim or other CORA physical therapists. They are all friendly and welcoming! I had been going to CORA for about 2 months when I started to feel strong. I grew back on all the muscles that I lost post a foot surgery. By the end of my physical therapy, I was doing exercises to prepare myself to go back to hiking and running. It's been almost 1.5 months since I finished my physical therapy, and I'm happy to say that I'm able to run (2 miles in 40 minutes). If you have any issues with your body, I strongly recommend CORA, especially the Apex location, to check out. It will literally help you! :)

I initially had PT for a broken foot and they did a good job…read more I thought to continue with PT for a chronic condition I have but it became clear that the Physical Therapist had no interest in learning how to work with this condition. Wish I'd have been told from the beginning. I've since started going to a privately owned practice and the difference is night and day. Good for the not so serious stuff. They schedule 3 people per session with one therapist which limits the therapist's ability to focus on each patient and help as needed.

Sarah ain't just another PT. She's got two (not at all related) niche's: dancers and soldiers. I'm…read morethe latter. During our initial session Sarah asked me a few basic questions about my flexibility/mobility and then rattled off my strengths and weaknesses like she had been observing me for a decade. She specifically said "I bet you hate pull ups" and also guessed correctly that ruck marching was my arch-nemesis. (it's the event that failed me out of Ranger school, had always been my career's achilles heel) It was wild how accurate she described my history with just 5 minutes of seeing me touch my toes. To me, a layman, this borders on magic. To her I'm sure it's just another day on the job. Regardless: if you are someone who values and insists upon high-performance from your body (a ballet dancer, an infantry guy, a a CrossFit athlete) then I highly recommend you give her a call. I'm GLAD I did. The body has reasons why it does what it does, and she can help you figure them out!

Let me start by saying Sarah is simply amazing! I injured my quad at CrossFit & was very concerned…read moreit was going to be a long recovery back to full strength. Sarah immediately took control and put my mind at ease. She texted me even before our first visit asking for pics and specifics. From there she set me up with a plan so I didn't do any harm before my 1st appointment. At my first appointment she went over both long & short term expectations. She answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. She is the perfect blend of science & common sense. she is one of the smartest therapists I have been around. Always citing the latest literature. Using that she listened to me so she knew what I was willing to do and not do. Meaning she didn't "force" her plan or opinions on my when appropriate. Of course I had to do things that I found uncomfortable, but she found a way to work then all into my lifestyle and comfort level. What made it even better was she gave me her cell # so I had access to her pretty much 24/7. We all know what it's like to leave a medical practice and feel lost & anxious with it being nearly impossible to get questions answered once they see you. This is not the case with Sarah. She was with me every step of the way. She is truly a throwback to old school medicine where the provider really cares about their patients as individual. I would recommend Restore & Reform to anyone who wants outstanding professional treatment and the personal touch. Oh, I am now back to full-strength and doing all the things I used to do and more. Next week I'm going to tackle that dang front squat that messed me up. But this time using Sarah's advice and techniques so I don't get injured again.

Their clinic is like a combination of The Mayo Clinic and "Cheers": the expertise is unquestionable and the ambiance is friendly, welcoming and cheerful. I went to them on the recommendation of a PT friend. My hip had been bothering me for about a year, and there were also episodes of pain down my leg and in my lower back. I could not sleep, had pain when walking and getting up/down, and did not stand up straight. My GP said I had bursitis of the hip and he could give me a shot to manage it if the PT did not work out. Right off the bat, Andy began to diagnose and track the pain origins, levels, and progressions. And no, it was not "bursitis of the hip." It had to do with a variety of muscle, nerve and tendon issues. He, and then Steven, explained it all to me clearly, answered all my questions, showed me anatomy pics, and then moved to explain what I/we needed to do to correct the issues. And, they were very patient in helping me understand it all. Between the on-site sessions and the homework exercises, it didn't take very long for my issues to subside. At this point, I just need to keep doing the exercises to build my core and keep myself "stretched out." I am walking without pain, with good posture and a good gait! Kind of unbelievable. And, if I need/want a refresher, check-in, they are always available for a text or visit or both. Andy and Steven have my gratitude and highest recommendation.
