This site does a good job of keeping up with all of the care you have had. I messaged through the portal that I needed to see my Dr and they got me in in 2 days time. It was quick and easy. I them received follow up texts and emails for verification purposes. When I arrived for my appt, check in was quick. They collected my co-pay and I was called back within 15 min. Everyone was friendly and professional. In the past, I have also done PT at this location. No complaints about that either. Just ask questions --- be sure you understand the process.

I screamed bloody murder to let me out the 1st time so they adjust the foam airplane earplugs and put hard flat plastic panels on each ear. They slid me in again and again I was screaming screaming let me out. I was pulling up my head and body which I strained trying to get out. It was unbearable. The highest level sound a human can stand before it gets unbearable is 120 decibels and I swear mine was higher. My head was rattling, I couldn't hear my voice in the normal way when I was talking. All the muscles and bones were strained to the max. I have really loved EmergeOrtho but I am so traumatized I dont even want to go to the good machine which I had prior, at another of their locations, until the trauma and anxiety wear off. I ended up in an Urgent Care Center about thirty minutes later. My neck, head, shoulders, even abdomen were feeling like there had been stressed and strained. Also I was worried about my ears. At WakeMed Urgent Care they found no perforations in my ears. They treated my neck and sent me with a Rx for muscle Relaxers plus a strong lidocaine gel. I cancelled the appt I let them to go to the other location and backed out of that one. Too traumatized. My theory: the MRI Machine was from the 60's and the two people in there were clueless. To be fair and just, those two technicians should have to experience what I did. I want to know some things: why did the phone operator tell me I could only get an MRI on a Sunday? Bribery, side hustle ? I want to know the make and model of that machine, and when it should have been retired. I want the names of the technicians. And a good attorney. All names of attorneys are welcome. Only honest will be considered.

About a month after my surgery, I was referred to do physical therapy with CORA. I was honestly skeptical, didn't know much about physical therapy, and frustrated that I'm not healing as fast as I expected. On my first day, I was welcomed by Shane, a travel physicals therapist, who listened to my complaints and struggles with zero judgement. He made me feel comfortable and excited to work on my left leg and foot. When Shane wasn't available, I was seen by Jim or other CORA physical therapists. They are all friendly and welcoming! I had been going to CORA for about 2 months when I started to feel strong. I grew back on all the muscles that I lost post a foot surgery. By the end of my physical therapy, I was doing exercises to prepare myself to go back to hiking and running. It's been almost 1.5 months since I finished my physical therapy, and I'm happy to say that I'm able to run (2 miles in 40 minutes). If you have any issues with your body, I strongly recommend CORA, especially the Apex location, to check out. It will literally help you! :)

Wish I'd have been told from the beginning. I've since started going to a privately owned practice and the difference is night and day. Good for the not so serious stuff. They schedule 3 people per session with one therapist which limits the therapist's ability to focus on each patient and help as needed.

I was recommended by a current client and began to have PT sessions with Sangini. The exercises not only helped progress the healing process, but also found the route of other issues. I had been walking and training in an arched position without stretching or strengthening to balance my body. This made me more susceptible to injures as my previously shortened psoas muscles and pinched lower back nerves had shown. With the exercises and guidance I was able to get back to training within 6 weeks and came back strong. Not only this, but was given exercises to continue for injury prevention throughout my career and after. I would recommend the PT center for those looking to heal or prevent injuries at any age!

Every time I have gone to Sangini with a new issue, she has performed magic and never gone for the same issues again. I call Sangini a magician and her method of treatment is fantastic. I would definitely recommend her time and again.

At her first appointment, there was inclement weather, and we completely understand Stacey's concern for her children's whereabouts. However, I felt it unfair that my mother lost time at her paid appointment due to this. Stacey told her she had another client directly after her, and she refused to go over exercises with her. In addition, the location was unable to schedule her next appointment until March 2020, which was more than 7 weeks out? How is it that you accept a new patient, and you fail to accommodate? The office called several times with cancelations for the same week she had therapy? She did not need therapy the same week, she needed an appointment 2 weeks thereafter. They told us they are short-staffed and Stacey was the only therapist on hand. How is this our problem? I will say the other Duke locations are great, and they are very accommodating, but I would not go back to this particular location again, even if it closely located.
