5 stars is not enough for this place but there's no option to add more so...5 it is. :) From the very first phone call I had with Letty to ask some insurance questions and learn more about their services, I've been blown away by how kind and genuine every member of their team is. You can tell they all really care about each client and are truly passionate about helping people. I think the word "vibes" has officially been overused at this point but I can't find another way to articulate that this place has great vibes. It just does. I've been working specifically with Amanda for about a month now and always look forward to my appointments with her. She's extremely knowledgeable, helpful and so easy to talk to. Their gym is clean, quiet and has everything you could want in one place (even that weighted thing you push around on the fake grass if that's your jam). Every time I go to Chain Effect, either Honey or Letty are at the front welcoming people and always share in your excitement of the progress that's being made, whether it's PT or nutrition. I would like to share my personal experience with Chain Effect Physical Therapy and Performance Enhancement First, they are true professionals starting from booking an appointment till receiving treatment. Upon arrival, the clinic was totally COVID safe, and measures are taken very well. I used to take physiotherapy sessions in the UK, and I needed to continue them in the USA. I was fortunate to meet Taylor; he is very friendly and explained everything in simple terms that I could understand. Personal opinion Taylor was one of the best physiotherapists I ever encountered; he diagnosed and treated the first session's problem. I went to the Chain Effect to rehab a lower back injury in June 2018 and couldn't recommend it more highly -  - Taylor and the team are friendly, responsive, and deeply knowledgeable. Taylor has a rare gift for providing an intelligent-and-easy-to-understand orthopedic explanation for my issue and the treatments we pursued, very helpful - The facility is clean, modern, and highly functional. I loved having gym access in addition to PT services - Most important they drove meaningful recovery. I have more mobility and less pain - can't argue with results. Hopefully I won't need to go back! I've now had the opportunity to take a couple of classes at Chain Effect and can honestly say this is one of the best group workouts around. I haven't taken advantage of their personal training but this gym really has it all for a bargain of a price. They have a ton of group fitness classes to choose from as well as personal training, physical therapy, and a 24/7 open gym. For $75 a month to be able to have access to the gym and top notch classes is a deal. I've had an opportunity through my ClassPass to check out their Train Strength class and most recently a Train Endurance class. As someone who works out a lot I consider myself in pretty good shape, well after the Train Strength class I took months ago I got a huge awakening. I worked my body in ways I hadn't in a long time. I've been looking for a workout with more cardio that also incorporates strength training, you will find all of that at Chain Effect. The Train Endurance class I took this week kicked my butt. It's been a long time that I've worked out so hard that I actually didn't think I'd make it through the workout. If I'm going to take an hour class I want my ass to be kicked and Chain Effect definitely will do that for you. If you want to see results and you enjoy group fitness classes then this place is for you. Both the instructors, Caroline and Liz that I've had a chance to take a class with have been great. They really keep you motivated and make sure you have the right form for each exercise. The facility itself is very clean and has all the equipment you need. If you've never been before it can be hard to find. It's in the back of a large office building, just park in the parking deck and walk into the double doors it will be right there in front of you on the first floor. I was in the Raleigh area and researched physical therapy on Yelp and all the reviews were spot on. My karma was working and I got in to see the owner, Taylor Pope 30 minutes after I called. This awesome guy worked me in on his lunch hour for dry needling for groin pain after I explained I was in town for the day. Taylor showed me around the facility where training classes are held to zero in on your specific problem, combining treatment with strength training to get you back in the game. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the facility. Classes in personal training, group fitness and nutrition are also offered so you can heal body and mind. Dr. Pope did a great job helping me with my hip. I've had issues with it for 2 years and went in for my initial appointment, had dry needling, and felt better and better as the weekend went on. I really appreciated being able to go back into the fitness/training area and learn about different weightlifting and strengthening techniques to help prevent further injury. I cannot recommend Chain Effect enough. First, it's run by a young husband and wife team, which I love. I have taken a bunch of classes at this gym and am consistently impressed by how hard they push you and how much I get out of a 45 minute class. Caroline is probably the best class instructor I've had anywhere, she switches up our exercises every week to keep things interesting. Plus, she works her ass off while leading the classes. I have had a great experience with Chain Effect. I initially saw Dr. Taylor Pope in the fall of 2017 for tight hip flexors, shoulder pain, and overall posture improvement. With his assessment and exercise plan, the issues were completely resolved within a couple months, and I have not had any problems since. Taylor also taught me a number of kettlebell exercises to incorporate into my workouts, which have been immensely helpful. It is a fantastic gym that meets all my requirements; clean, professional, members that are focused on working out as opposed to chit chat and most importantly, a wide variety of services from Physical Therapy, Personal Training, group fitness classes, dry needling, nutrition and weight lose instruction. I really love Chain Effect. I started attending group classes through ClassPass and tried a bunch of local gyms, but Chain Effect classes were so much better that I cancelled CP and joined Chain Effect's unlimited classes instead. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, are able to tailor the movements to the individuals in the class, and focus strongly on body alignment/mechanics during the workouts. I get a great workout every time, feel confident that I'm building opposing muscle groups evenly to reduce the risk of injury, and its fun. Highly recommended! read more

I met Taylor Pope through my fiancé, as they play ultimate together. I was sort of skeptical of the dry needling and am terrified of needles actually...but I'm a dental hygienist and have had some horrible back pain. I decided to try it out and let me tell you, it was the greatest thing I could have done! Taylor does an amazing job educating before he actually treats. As a hygienist, I appreciate that he wants his patients to understand why they are experiencing the pain using pictures to better visualize. He not only explains why, but then goes on to show you exercises and stretches to specifically target the areas of concern. He then treats with dry needling and some stem work which gives INSTANT relief..I know this because he stretches certain areas before and after that can PROVE it works. I am no longer a skeptic and will continue to see him monthly for preventive maintenance to allow myself to have a long, healthy career! Taylor is an intelligent and talented PT for sure! read more
