I have been seeing Drew at Untapped Potential PT for a few years. He treated me after my hip labral…read moretear repair surgery (which was a long process but he never gave up!) and with a few other issues that popped up due to my graduate student lifestyle. He is hands on and really cares about each resolving your issues and is very invested in each patient. He gets to know you really well and no appointment is ever boring. I know he also does a lot of continuing education and sometimes tries new techniques.

I started going to Drew at UPPT for plantar fasciitis which had been nagging me for quite a while…read more Drew is incredibly knowledgable and is able to tell specifically where my pain is coming from after having me do just a few motions. I enjoy that, unlike a lot of medical professionals, Drew takes the time to help you understand why and how something is happening. Too often I have been told the "solution" to a medical problem like there is no other choice, and I couldn't hope to understand why. You can also tell he cares a lot about his craft; he often goes to seminars/workshops for PTs to learn about new methods. My plantar fasciitis cleared up right away after a combination of functional manual therapy, dry needling, and some at-home exercises that I still do today to help combat foot pain if it ever arises again. Rather than just treating the symptom, Drew worked on my calves and other parts of my lower body which also helped with a lot of (seemingly) unrelated aches and pains I had been having. I definitely recommend Drew as a PT if you want someone with a holistic approach. He quickly identifies the root of the problem rather than just working with symptoms. I wouldn't be as active as I am now without his help.

Today Brooke had her last appointment with Abby at Run Raleigh PT at their new location before…read moregetting in the car to head off to Baylor. I honestly don't know that Brooke would be running at Baylor if it wasn't for Abby and her staff. She kept Brooke motivated, encouraged and hopeful. You are getting much more than a physical therapist when you work with them. I don't do recommendations often, but we truly are so thankful and beyond grateful we found Run Raleigh when they first opened. As far as the actual treatment I can not say enough about how well Abby and her staff has treated Brooke and identified injuries/issues that others simply missed or did not properly identify. Brooke has been seeing Abby since her first little nagging issue in the 8th grade. We have sent everyone we know to see her and her team with no hesitation. The new location is amazing and look forward to Brooke using it when she is home on break. If you have any questions about your gait, nagging injuries, how to strengthen properly for running or simply have a runner that needs encouragement they may not be getting else where please give them a call. Thank you again Abby and the Run Raleigh PT team for helping Brooke achieve her goals.
