Hired this company. They completed job. $2180 for 1 guy for 1 day. They lost my payment. Have proof of delivery of check from USPS. Sent them copies of the receipt, delivery confirmation from usps with exact time of delivery. I notified them that it was sent and then heard from them over a month afterwards saying I never paid. Then tried to charge late fees. I agreed to send new wire but minus the additional costs incurred for cancellation of check (seemingly small request) and rewiring funds but they insisted on full amount and di accept and are now threatening mechanics liens and over $3330 due. Anyways, I highly recommend NOT working with this company. If you even slightly don't agree with a final invoice they will threaten mechanic liens or send it to collections. Even without any signed contract. Willing to pay services rendered, minus the double costs on my end for them losing the check. Not a big ask. But they seemingly want to turn it into a bigger payday. They have my info if they want to settle. read more

We had a really great experience with ICS. We've already recommended them to a handful of friends and neighbors as they're beating the competition in terms of both price and quality. AC going out in the dead of summer is never a good thing. We had the worry free protection plan from the local utility but it was already too late, the compressor had died and it was time for a full replacement. Naturally the local utility offer replacement services so we got a quote from them. Luckily, we also got quotes from two other companies. The local utility was way overpriced by comparison. For the same price of the basic system that the local utility had offered, we got an upgraded two stage system with an air cleaner from ICS. ICS did offer financing but it's in a more straight up manner versus the 'interest free' yet inflated system cost of other competitors. The install was super smooth. The project manager was in communication the entire time, keeping us updated on progress of the install and what was going on. The team was really respectful and cleaned up before finishing the job. The install itself was super organized, our hvac before was kind of an eye sore but now it looks like a sophisticated system. As far as performance, it's night and day. Previously our system struggled to cool more than 20 degrees below the outside temp. But now it just sits at the proper temp all day long regardless of how hot it is outside with only about a one degree of deviation. And the two stage system really does make for a more comfortable environment. read more

ICS was excellent, and quite unique in several respects. After extensive research and talking with many other HVAC firms, I found what I was looking for. I knew that I wanted to phase out multiple air conditioning units and replace them with heat pumps, so that I will no longer rely on a gas boiler for heating. Chris has extensive experience with such projects and presented me with three different options to consider. Unlike other bids, his proposal wasn't just specs, but a thoughtful narrative about the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. ICS also performed a Manual J calculation to determine the size of the equipment and carefully calibrate the heating and cooling needs. Other vendors don't bother, and just guess. While this is clearly NOT recommended practice, it is surprisingly common. The installation team was also first rate, and kept me informed throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with my choice of ICS and am sharing my experience with others. read more

Do not use this company. They sent 2 technicians for a service call and were in the apartment for less than 45 mins. They then had the audacity to sent an invoice for 2 men at 4 hours each. A total of 8 hrs for a job that was less than an hour. We tried to dispute this and they would not even entertain the idea that they were either lying or their technicians were lying. It was disgusting, unethical and a flagrant rip-off. The worst experience of a company that should have some standards and obviously have none. read more

This business is awful. Don't use them. I'm truly shocked by my experience with them. My air conditioning stopped functioning during a 90+ degree heat wave. I prepaid $ 149. They came out on a friday afternoon and informed me that it was fixed, but when I came home that night it was very hot in my apartment. So they came back the next day and worked on it again for an hour and again informed me it would take hours for the temperature to return to normal, so I went out and came back later that night and it still was not fixed. The next day was Sunday and 97 degrees and they refused to come out, and instead told me they would call me the next day to suggest repairs. They didn't call the next day so I called them. They then informed me they had to take my unit to their shop to study it and bring it back later in the week. That afternnoon my father came to the apartment and simply changed the batteries in the thermostat and the AC worked again. I explained this to ICS and they refused to refund my money. When I disputed the charge with the credit card company ICS then invoiced me for over $ 500 for their failed visits. Don't use this company read more
