Five days ago, I had the maintenance service for my HVAC system done by Dennis. He did an outstanding job as usual. It is always a pleasure to have our system serviced by him. He is always pleasant, professional and very polite. He made sure to ask if we have had any issues with our system since the last service, and whether or not they were addressed to our satisfaction. Dennis is very thorough.He checked to make sure that everything was working properly before he left, and asked if we had any questions or concerns. When he left, I felt really confident that the best job had been done, because it was obvious to me that he was genuinely concerned in doing a good job. Definitely do not value long term customer relationships, main focus when they arrive for support or service is to reinforce their rigid business model. When they arrived at our place, we had a switch turned off by accident, they turned it on and charged me $149, if they valued a relationship they would have handled this very differently. My initial contact with UltimateAire was a chilly winter when my heating system went out. I told them that I was afraid for my elderly parents. The kind woman on the phone was very understanding and the repairman was at my house fixing my heating system within the hour! Ever since then, I'm a fan of UltimateAire. If I could give negative stars I would. This business is absolutely price gouging during COVID-19 and the worst part is I am a repeat customer of theirs. Last year in January I had a humidification system and filter system put in my house which cost over $4000 I paid it gladly because my kids have allergy problems and I just wanted to get this done so that my kids can have a better life. Then just a week ago my HVAC system was messed up and was leaking water so I called them come in to fix it. The guy fixing it tells me it's going to cost $200 for a new pump. He installs it and I get charged $375 I questioned the charge and the lady who is absolutely the most rudest person I've ever spoken to on the phone EVER. She says to me I don't know why my guy told you $200 we charge $375 I said ok. I then checked how much that pump costs and it's $50 at Home Depot. I called the lady back and say this is ridiculous and I dispute the charge and I want to speak to the owner and she YELLS AT ME SAYING NO. I disputed the full charge with my CC company I am now calling the Better Business Bureau if I were you I would save your money and find other people that don't want to take advantage of fellow human beings during such hard times ESPECIALLY when they are repeat customers. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful people. read more

Came yesterday for our annual cleaning of air conditioner..What a great job they did.Not like the other company we had..He actually cleaning the unit and made sure everything was in working order..So happy i switched and I am paying a cheaper rate then my last company..Very pleasant girls answering the phone also..Will recommend to friends and family. read more

I just had a problem with my air conditioner when I got home my Ac was not working my house was 90 dg I called jeff he came right out with in 1 hr and fixed my Ac and after hours may I say and it was 94 dg today thanks for the great service read more

I have used Ultimate Air for 12 years now for my residential HVAC system. They were recommended to me from my Framing Contractor when I was adding a 1,500 sq ft 2nd floor extension to my home in 2004. They installed the heating and A/C units for the extension. I subsequently used them to replace my old 1950's Gas furnace on the first floor. I have had them visit the home over the years for trouble shooting and scheduled maintenance and have always had excellent, timely, and reasonably priced service. read more

I have used Ultimate Aire for a lot of work that I had done on my house. They installed a ductless split in my basement approximately 6 years ago, and it has continued to work just like it did the first day it was installed. They just replaced my central air last summer and did the whole thing in ONE DAY! Besides all their excellent and CLEAN work, the own Jeff is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. This past October, my water heater went. I contacted Jeff and he got back to me in 10 minutes, came to my house, shut the water to the water heater off so it did not continue to flood my basement, and had the thing replaced first thing the next morning. And did I say they were super CLEAN!!? On top of all of this, they have some of the most competitive prices around. Ultimate Aire does great work, at a great price. All the guys I have met who work for Jeff have all been extremely nice individuals. I HIGHLY recommend. read more

I contacted Ultimate Aire to obtain a service contract and garage heater install. First appointment I waited for 4 hours. I called their messaging service and no call back. I got a call back in the morning. Excuse was that technician's cell phone wasn't receiving a signal. today, I was rescheduled between 11 am - 1 PM. At 11:50am, tech called me and said he would be arriving in 20 mins. He ultimately showed up at 12:55pm (over an hour after he called and set my expectations). I work in NYC and live in NJ. I had to take a day off to work from home and I had a meeting at 1pm. As a result, I turned them away as they are clearly unable to set expectations and manage their time and/or employees. read more
