I went in for a simple tape measure as I left mine back at my shop for an install that I was doing down the street. I've included a photo from the rack as well as one from Friedmans Hardware, this True Value is charging double for the same tape measure. Don't shop here they're just gonna rip you off. Finally, when I pointed this out to the girl working the register who is the only one I could see working there she wanted to argue about it with me. One of the arguments was service there... the service sucked! The tape measures were all locked up so I had to get her to come unlock them and I had to wait for her to finish ringing up customers. There no value in this "True Value" hardware store.

They will for sure offer to help and offer advice for any project no matter how big or small. If they do not have what you are looking for (which is doubtful), they are more than happy to direct you to a place that will. With their help, I have been able to complete a few home improvement projects that I thought were out of my league. Spent 15 minutes, looking for a cart and no one could help me find one. I almost gave up. I was then directed to go out in the parking lot. I found where all the flat carts are - way out in the parking lot. Because they are hard to move, they put it on the customer to bring them in from the front. So if you're in the appliances aisle or decide to buy something that's in a big box, you need to go directly to the outer parking lot and fetch yourself a flat cart. Not joking.

But my husband really wanted a dead blow hammer, and not seeing one, he went and found an associate and asked about it. The person he asked didn't seem to know what it was, but pointed us to the hammer section (where we'd just been). They did not have what hubby wanted there, and we refrained from teasing the employee about their famous tagline, "If we don't have it, you don't need it," though it was hard! lol. Anyway, we were in and out pretty quickly and painlessly. Parking was easy. Store was pretty calm at night, shortly before closing, and we didn't have to wait in line to check out.
