I stopped by ACE Hardware right before closing time and the two gentlemen working there helped me to find the miniature screw I needed to repair the key fob. When I tried to pay for the screw and the screwdriver I'd taken off the wall to screw it in, the cashier said "put the screwdriver back." So my total came to $0.47. I felt bad I didn't have any cash so I handed him my debit card. He paused and grabbed the change cup and paid for my screw out of it. So not only did I get individual, expert, efficient help but I left without paying anything. That is how you get return customers. That is how you get someone who has only been to your store a couple times to recommend it to anyone and everyone needing parts, help, whatever. I'm impressed. And I plan to bring cash next time! Thank you ACE Hardware.

By asking politely if they can pet Rex, they can feel his thick fur and imagine what it's like to be a polar bear. After that, if they ask politely, they can have a lollipop from the service counter staff. Never thought I'd say a hardware store was fun for kids, but Ace Hardware really is! My family has been been doing business Ace/Pini hardware ever since it was on Grant Avenue, Novato . The customer service has never changed since I was in my teens and now in my 60s. It's my humble opinion that this is one of the best Customer service examples in the industry. Thank you, Pini Hardware!!!

I saw the store listed on Yelp! as a recently opened store. Something was calling me to go and check it out, so we did. Upon our arrival, this wonderful, welcoming and cheerful voice greeted us. I told her the reason for our visit and she spent so much time each with both myself and my daughter helping us select the best pendant for each of us. Not only did she help us select a pendant, but she taught us how to know whether that pendant was the best for us at this particular moment in our lives and how to use them. Shama is also a powerful and knowledgeable Healer, who demonstrated this by also giving us a reading during the pendant selection process. I cannot say enough postive compliements about this gem of a store. Sonoma is lucky to have Shama's beautiful shoppe and healing energy and knowledge.
