STAY AWAY from this barbershop! My first negative review on a business ever. They will take a beautiful head of hair with curls and leave with a hack job beyond recognition. You will leave here looking like a different person and not in a good way. The poorly rendered service was Grossly Uneven all around, cut so far back to make a person look bald and sick, the worst cutting I have ever seen in my life. This business should be ashamed of themselves. Who needs enemies, when there are people who will ruin hair like this place will and has. I would go as far as to say, this is gross negligence with malicious intent to their customers. This place should shut down or learn proper barber cutting and stying skills before being able to touch anyone's hair again. This business should be required to re-educate and re-license their staff. Awesome barber shop with the same old school feel as the one my grandpa took me to as a kid! Walk welcoming ambiance that is clean and well maintained. Everyone is professional and you are created when you arrive. There are plenty of barbers working at the same time so the wait is not near as bad as it looks and from what I witnessed every barber is talented and can give a quality cut/fade.. The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars is there is no way to reserve a hair cut it is a first come / first serve basis. read more

Barbers tend to prioritize better customer service kids of moms who wear tight clothing or little clothing. Instantly switch from English to Spanish when talking about someone. Wouldn't recommend as a place to bring kids as overweight barbers try to hit on their clients moms or use excuses when don't follow their own queue system. read more

Hands down the best barbershop in the west valley! My son has been going here for about 7 years! They truly care and are super attentive to the customers needs. Showed dude multiple pictures of what I wanted. He did nothing like what I showed or described. Cut everything off, made it way too short. I told him I wasn't satisfied with the cut and he then pettily and unprofessionally announced to the rest of the staff that I wasn't satisfied with my haircut. Saying I was "complaining" and that I should go to a salon if I wanted what I asked for, which really wasn't anything but a trim with scissors. Basically saying he wasn't skilled enough to do something mad simple. Why start the haircut in the first place if you know you can't accommodate what I asked for? He told me I should go to Supercuts next time. Not really the roast he thought it was because yeah I probably will actually. What he did was technically a decent haircut (at best) but was not at all what I asked for. That, topped with the unprofessional atmosphere created when they receive a little bit of well-deserved criticism is why this place is dog sh*t. read more

This is the only place I will take my guys to get their hair cut. The barbers are great. They're fun but keep it PG for the kiddos (unlike most other barbers we have gone to in the past) but they have never given them a bad cut. My little ones are six and eight and the guys are so good with them. Also very clean and very efficient. We never have to wait long if at all. And everyone is always complimenting how fresh they look! Would definitely recommend! read more

This is my second time at this barbershop, and the first time was very good. The owner(whom i believe to be) was there and made me feel like a valued customer and it felt like a home barbershop Today was a different experience( and i believe the owner wasn't there) I went in today as a walk in and waited about 50 minutes(which is okay its a walk in only barbershop and i didn't call ahead) I got sat with a barber and that's when some issues started happening. I asked for a mid/high skin fade and a 6 on top. The barber started cutting my hair and was only concentrated on the show, he cut the top of my hair without even looking(which is okay, you cant really mess anything up) After he cut my hair he sprayed me off with a pressure gun for about a minute straight. He was only shooting one area so I was wondering what was going on and I looked up and he was just watching TV and kept his hand on the trigger. He then proceeded to take about an hour to cut the rest of my hair. This isn't because my haircut was extreme but because he was watching Ridiculousness for a majority of the time and would either take breaks in cutting to watch it or he would be watching it, cutting and not looking at my hair. He was about to finish my haircut then I had to ask for a lineup separately(Im not sure if this is something I need to ask for, not a big deal). The haircut ended up being just a very high skin fade. I went to pay and my haircut was 23$ and I gave him 25$, and left. As I walked out I heard the barber making fun of the amount I gave him. After I got home I noticed he cut the left of my hair too high and got into the top portion of my hair a little bit. I respect barbers, and I respect the grind. If a barber does a good job and/or even takes a decent bit of time to cut my hair ill tip him 5-10$ This wasn't the grind, and I don't respect it. This barber thinks he is entitled to tell and be disrespectful to customers. He was extremely rude!! Stay away, take your business else where, most barbers here are rude bunch of punks very mouthy they got upset at me for walking out and not play their waiting game. I walked in put myself on wait list asked how long 1st barber said about 20 minutes(about 10 clients waiting). As i was started to sit another barber chimes in more like 30 minutes. I decided not to wait, another barber chimes in its really an hour and then tells me good luck on finding a barbershop less than an hour wait. i didnt appreciate the lie 1st barber told me and didnt appreciate the other barbers chiming in. This barbershop is hands down the best in Goodyear. After moving from West Phoenix where just about every shop has a kick ass barber, I struggled to find a decent barber out here. They've only been open a week but just got themselves a new client. Ricardo gave me the cleanest fade and cut it exactly how I wanted in just about 20 minutes (it usually would take my old barber an hour). I do a classic comb over with a low skin fade, no hard part. He didn't blend too high and left the perfect amount of length for my style. It's a very friendly, relaxed environment and they've got rows of TV's, even offered me water! Come check these guys out you won't regret it! read more

The barbers there are cool.... If you got a relationship with them, of course.. Barber left me on the chair for 30 min because he had an "interview" and left mid cut to get his interview in like I didn't have places to be... Wow, that's cool. They treat their regulars WAYYY better than the "walk ins" which is messed. The owner will tell you 15 min waiting time EVERY TIME, just so you can sit... even when the shop is FULL (you don't wait 15 min) they get you to sit so you don't leave. I also noticed, if someone leaves because they don't like to wait, the owner gets all butt hurt and starts talking bad about the client once they say "oh I'll see if I come back". He'll say a remark like "oh you can't wait 15?" "Good luck finding less wait time" but they all speak Spanish and so do I... So all that trash talk behind a clients back in another language, in my opinion, very unprofessional barbershop. ESPECIALLY when the clients still tip the barbers. I followed my barber when he changed shops. Poncho is a great barber. I was skeptical at first to the change, plus it's much farther than the prior barber shop that was down the street. I was immediately impressed with Instacutz and the atmosphere. It reminded me of my barber shop growing up in Jersey. Besides the military, I have had only four barbers in my life. Everyonee is very friendly. Shop manager always comes up and says hello. Everyone is greeted and offered water as they walk I the door. The entire shop is super clean and I love the hot towel. There is no loud annoying music giving you a headache just some normal music playing in the background. I always have good conversation, as a barber shop should be. Even my 10 year old doesn't mind coming with me and he is still in the phase where he hates getting haircuts. I recommend this shop to all ages. The prices are at market value, maybe even under it.
