I really try to support local businesses. I'm a small business owner as well so I definitely appreciate it when people come to me. So for this business, I did the same. I've taken my son here 4 times. Each time, he's gotten someone different. Three out of the four times, we've had to go to another (cheaper) hair salon to get his hair fixed. If I have to pay twice for a haircut, that's pretty bad. The guys in here are really nice. I don't feel out of place even as a mom in a shop full of other men. They're welcoming and they treat my son with respect, which is great! It's also very clean. So for that, they get two stars. But for the fact that it seems like most of their barbers can't cut hair (and that's their service)? Then sorry, but we won't be coming back. My husband came with us the last two times as well to watch and we were both horrified at the results. I'd recommend saving your money and going elsewhere. read more

Best experience and service at any barber my boys have been to hands down! While out for small business Saturday I caught a glimpse of their sign and walked in to see if they could take my son as a walk in. Not only were they packed, we were acknowledged right away, they were clean, friendly and took my son right away in between their nearly fully booked appointments . The place was clean, had nice chairs to sit and wait in, magazines to read and treated my son wonderfully. He was given a warm towel, massage and all the grand treatment some barbers lack and all for only $21. The barber took his time, listened to exactly what I was wanting and my son left so happy and talked about them nonstop the rest of the day. Thanks for such a wonderful day. We will definitely be driving the extra 20 minutes from Now on to get all my boys hair cut from now on. read more

Great barber shop in the heart of Verrado. The service is spot on because the barber's assistant always greats you with a welcoming hello and offers a water. The barbers are all skilled and talented. The only downside (and the reason for 4 stars) is the location is pretty small and the waiting area is not very comfortable and limited with no TV or other means of entertainment. I would definitely recommend this place but I would also highly recommend scheduling an appointment before hand. read more

Went into the barbershop today and even though my appointment was at 4, I barely started my haircut at 4:30. I sat down and told Gilbert I wanted a small trim and even showed him a reference photo. My hair was on the longer end and I was trying to cut it more in the medium/ long range so I could style it for work. However, Gilbert didn't use the reference photo or anything I told him and cut my hair nearly to my skin. This is easily the worst haircut I've got in my entire life and I will never come back here again. read more

Ask for a beard trim he used a 1 I can barely see my beard and that is disappointing. HAIRCUT I Ask for a 2 on the sides he used a 1 for my hair cut . And then I don't believe he knows the word "blend" . The top is a lot longer then the sides . If I wanted a high and tight I would have said thank . Thought I'd walk in and see what a perceived (by location) higher-end barbershop would be like. It was $35 for a 30-minute time slot. I was in the chair at least 15, 20 at max. I felt like the barber was trying to fit in as many cuts as he could... and it showed. Greatclips with a $7.99 coupon probably would have resulted in a little better quality of a haircut. When I got home, I went to rinse my hair. One side was trimmed higher than the other. It basically looked like I was fresh out of the USMC Bootcamp (military barbers wouldn't let you walk out with what I was given). Could I, in good conscious recommend this place? maybe. Others looked like they had decent haircuts. The guy I had, absolutely would not recommend. There's not enough hair to even go to another barber to fix it... :( I can't even tell you this guy's name. I was there for a haircut and not one of the employees was wearing there masks properly. Mind you they have literature on there windows and how it is mandated and selling 2.00 mask and if you didn't have one we have that to assist you yet the employees aren't able to follow those rules. These are the businesses that make it hard for all and small business to operate and function properly during this pandemic which is real no matter your political view or personal view. read more

Their customer service was terrible i thought. I went in for a cut and even on a non busy day i would see people sitting in their chair while i waited. Once i finally got my hair cut i still was sitting there for a long time. Unfortunately this shop is going downhill due to staffing changes that have taken place. The newest barber (guy with a mohawk) has really brought the place down. The entire time I was there he told stories about how he's the greatest barber in the shop, usually getting animated and arguing with the other barbers about it. For their part the other barbers took it pretty nonchalantly, like a parent watching a child embarrass themselves by throwing a temper tantrum. It's embarrassing to watch, and I can see that there are clients that are visibly uncomfortable with the situation. read more

Says walk-ins welcome but as I experienced and as I see others mention they actually don't have walkins. Was told they were booked up but only 2 people were there. Similar services are being offered to that of a great clips only catered to males so they need to either hire faster hands or more barbers. Their customer service needs to improve. The initial vibe when you walk in matches the high-end vibe Verrado gives off. Chestnut wood furniture and a classic leather couch to match that timeless look the shop has. The staff tend to overbook clients and get behind schedule rather quickly, as the three times my S.O. and I have been there for our scheduled appointment, we were seen anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour after our scheduled time, which becomes irritating when it seems to be a habit. I will give props to them though, because my S.O. has left looking sharp and handsome every single time. Request Daniel if you go. He's personable and a definite asset to the shop. read more

Don't bother wasting their time and showing up unless you have an appointment. Runs more like a salon than a barber. Walked-in and was asked if we had an appointment, we didn't. One gentleman who was cutting a clients hair asked two others if they had time to cut our hair even though they were not cutting anyone's hair at the time and was responded with a, "not me" and "I can't, I have an appointment". At no point did anyone offer to arrange an appointment or offer an alternative to gaining our business. read more

Scheduled a 10:30 Shave and Haircut ($60). Showed up at 10:20, was quickly greeted, asked my name, and was told Johnny would be with me in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, with no further eye or verbal contact, I left. If someone is willing to pay $60 for a shave and a haircut, I would suggest you don't take them for granted. A simple, "sorry for the wait" would have gone a long way. read more

Most frustrating thing about this barber shop is the lack of punctuality. Whatever time you are scheduled for a haircut, you can bet your savings you won't be sitting down in the chair until 15 minutes later, at best, often later. On top of that, the H aircuts are so-so and not worth the extra wait. I typically have to make a few changes during the final mirror check at the end of the haircut, asking for changes here and there. I have never had major mistakes on my haircuts here, but I know three people who have had chunks of hair buzzed out of the side of their fade due to the razor "slipping". Never an apology. Only reason I'd send anyone here is if they live in Verrado and are looking for the most convenient/closest barber shop. Won't be back. read more
