My husband wanted to check out Inspired Coffee Roasters to pick up some espresso beans, so we made the trip out to North Park. Right when we walked in, the owner and his employee greeted us and were super friendly and welcoming. You could immediately tell this is a neighborhood spot. There were a few people hanging out talking coffee with the owner, and the whole place had a relaxed, community feel to it. My husband picked up some espresso beans and ordered a pistachio iced latte. I don't drink coffee, so I went with the pistachio matcha. It definitely hit the matcha spot and was a nice drink while we hung out for a bit. My husband was happy with both the latte and the beans he brought home. Overall, just really good vibes and genuinely friendly service. We enjoyed our visit and can see why people keep coming back. read more

The space is so airy and bright and open with a few tables to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The owner is so nice. Like out of this world nice. The world needs more people like him. His passion is coffee and it definitely shows through with the drinks! Ordered a basic vanilla oat latte and it hit the spot! Went here today and I'm honestly kicking myself for not trying it sooner since it's been a few blocks from my house for the past year. I ordered the pistachio latte and my boyfriend got a Cortado Both were fantastic. You can really tell they take pride in their coffee. The pistachio latte was especially good, not sweet at all and you could actually taste the coffee first, which I love. My boyfriend liked his so much he immediately went back for a second drink and got a salted caramel latte. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. They also make homemade dog treats, which is such a cute touch. There's a small outdoor patio that's dog friendly, which is perfect for us. Just a heads up that there's no seating inside. Definitely adding this to our regular rotation. read more

What a hidden gem! I have seen this coffee shop and decided to stop by...and boy am I happy I did! I stopped by right when they opened, the place is small and very welcoming! I was immediately greeted when I walked in and the gentleman took my order right away. They have a selection of pastries and I love that the drink menu carries coffee classics! If you don't carefully look, you might miss this place and it's tasty coffee. When I was there they had a good collection of single origin roasted coffees. I had a quick chat with the owner and he has a very friendly personality and good knowledge of what he's serving. The location is in the middle of residential area in North Park so has a lot less noice. However, they have a very limited seats so I don't recommend for people who's looking for a working table. Oh. Forgot to mention. Parking can be a bit tricky. read more

You can tell they take your coffee seriously and offer high quality products. We bought a bag of their Ethiopian guji washed single origin coffee beans and the owner was gracious to offer us a complimentary cup of their geisha drip coffee on the house! How sweet! This inspired little coffee roaster and shop is located in the neighborhood of North Park nestled between Mead Ave and Hamilton St., on the bottom floor of some recently built trendy apartment buildings. Although they offer outside seating, they are mostly a to go coffee shop offering a variety of espresso based beverages, teas, and locally based pastries. That being said, I had the gent make a me a cortado with whole milk and a slice of lemon cake made with olive oil. The cortado was very food and on the fruity side when it comes to flavor. It was smooth and rich in coffee flavor as well. The lemon cake by Knead Artisan Bakery was outstanding. It was definitely a keeper. It was rich in lemon flavor and super moist. The olive oil really does its job well here. The service was upbeat and super friendly. They definitely give off that good neighborhood community coffee shop vibe. This new coffee shop that just opened 3 months ago is nestled in the heart of North Park but away from the hustle and bustle where it's easier to find street parking. There were outdoor only seating but it was covered by the building so perfect for those that want to be outside but not be blasted by the sun. First thing I noticed upon entering was how immaculately clean it was! Immediately, I felt welcomed by the owner Jacob who recently moved here from Brooklyn. He let me know that all the coffee beans are roasted in-house to a medium roast and they only offer organic milks (including almond, oat, etc for a minimal surcharge. I wanted to try something unique so I got the Dubai Choco-latte and asked for it with less sweet/chocolate. Jacob made my drink to the right sweetness where I could taste the coffee with the pistachio and subtle chocolate without it being overly sweet. I highly recommend this place for the quality latte, friendly service, and central location - a must try!! read more

This under-the-radar coffee shop recently opened on the ground level of a new apartment building, and it's such a wonderful addition to the area! Inside the shop, they sell items made by locals that would make for great gifts. Outside, there's a few colorful tables for seating, which add to the happy vibes of this place. You can tell that they really care about quality here, based on the companies they're working with. The service was also super friendly! I got the Lemon EVOO Cake, which was light and so flavorful. I also got the Dubai Choco-latte with oat milk, but the espresso unfortunately felt too acidic for my taste, and also made it difficult to really taste the other flavors of the latte. I'll be back to try other drinks such as the Matcha, and other pastries such as the Strawberry Chip Cookie! read more
