This is a really cozy coffee shop located in Mission Hills, San Diego. I ordered the Indian Spicy Coffee and absolutely loved it! The shop is spotless, and the natural, earthy design creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Best of all, the service was excellent--friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be coming back to try more coffee flavors!

I really hate to write a bad review but this was such a disappointment. I wanted to love this spot! I spent $29 for two lattes and two berry jam & butter toasts. First of all, their espresso is lacking in flavor. Our plain iced lattes tasted like diluted chocolate milk. But the real crime was their toast. $7.50 for a stale baguette with two foil-wrapped butter pats and bland jelly. Taste and texture are worse than the free baguette from Panera Bread. It was laughable to say the least!

Service was quick, it has a very calming ambiance with sounds of water and my latte was great

    Inside setting

Ambiance is so lovely- it feels like a little fairy garden inside. Their deck is also so peaceful to sit out on. They offer a cute bakery selection and their coffee is very good. Definitely a neighborhood staple

Barista was on her phone the entire time she was making drinks. Our lattes were watery and the milk was horribly steamed. If you go, just get an iced coffee.

Such a a great hidden gem. I was on a walk and fell into their beautiful ambiance trap. The space is truly breathtaking, decorated with Persian and Turkish rugs, crystals and zen statues. The staff was extremely friendly and even boasted about how much they loved working there with the owner. The interior has some seating but, I love that they have ample outdoor seating for you to enjoy your food and beverage. I ordered the a toasted baguette with butter and jam and the Turkish latte. They offer traditional plating or to go plate for all food and had about 5-6 types of jam to choose from. I ultimately went with the nectarine jam and HOLY CRAP, that jam will knock your socks off. Definitely a must try! It was so good The Turkish latte was also really well made and topped with pistachios! Would highly recommend popping in and supporting this woman owned small business

I ordered the iced dark chocolate mocha and they gave me a Mexican mocha. I got it replaced with the correct drink but it didn't taste like dark chocolate. I thought it was just regular mocha but they don't offer regular mocha so it must have been the dark chocolate. Disappointed with this drink. Then the toasts didn't have any price but we still ordered it to try it out. 2 drinks and 2 toasts cake out to be around $34. Each toast was around $11.25. Mine was ricotta and a drizzle of berry sauce. My bf had avocado toast. Both toasts are decent but it was overpriced. Nothing really special about it which would want me to go back and reorder it. I could have gotten a hearty burrito for less than $11.25. It's actually a quaint place with ample amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Pet friendly. It was very busy on a weekend morning before 9am. Coffee prices are average and everyone else seems to like their coffee - just don't get the overpriced toast.

This place was just ok. Nothing spectacular or great. The customer service was on point but feel the avocado toast is just plain and spendy compared to most. Same with the ricotta berry They did make a couple mistakes on our order and they fixed the coffee right away with no problem and although I ordered one of the avocado toasts I got the other one but it was almost the same so I didn't say anything although I know they would have fixed it if I did so the customer service was great.

The coffee was excellent at this hybrid cafe/boutique. The food was fair but a bit pricey. Friendly service. I didn't purchase any retail items but they had a large selection of local artisan crafts like essential oils, crystals, and "ritual items". They are all mixed in together throughout the cafe without a clear distinction of purpose. This is a locals cafe, deep in the mission hills neighborhood. Upon entering, the scent of sage (or oils or candles or all of them) was so overwhelming, we chose to eat outside where we could taste our food. Seems like a poor concept to display strongly scented items in the same space where you want your customers to eat. I don't know where they source their beans but the drip coffee was strong, hot, and delicious. This was a highlight. The out door patio are was comfortable and clean. The quiche of the day was asparagus and gruyere. Underwhelming, with a soggy bottom crust. My kids ordered chocolate croissants, which disappeared promptly, so I assume they were good. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

It's extra pretty if you add toppings like their super sweet mango. All of the scoops of ice cream were on the icier side but flavorful. Coconut was sweet and fantastically refreshing, while the taro was a bit more subtle but nutty and enjoyable. The vanilla was an old fashioned vanilla which was creamier than the other flavors but still definitely a bit icy. I would just get 3 scoops of coconut next time! The added mango on top was super sweet and soft, which contrasted drastically the meaty texture and very subdued flavor of the coconut pieces (maybe shouldn't have eaten it after that sweet mango!). They also have some unique Thai flavors of Lay's chips + special desserts (mango sticky rice, coconut pancakes, coconut pudding, etc.). I'd return for some more coconut ice cream and to try those special desserts! There are a few tables inside and more ornately decorated tables outside. No restrooms. Service was friendly. Fun little place to try new desserts, for a cute quick date, or grab and go for treats :)

It is a very small coffee shop that is really just a counter area without seating. When I walked up, there was one staff member working. He was friendly. They had a small menu of specialty coffee drinks listed for the holidays. It appears that they serve wine as well, as there was a list of wines by the glass on the same menu. I decided on the iced pistachio latte, as I absolutely love pistachio, and it was a bit of a warm day. I asked for nonfat milk, which is getting harder to come by at small coffee shops, so I was glad they could accommodate. I waited a couple minutes, as the staff had to leave to go get my requested nonfat milk from what appears to be a larger storage area. There are not seats in Coffee Culture, however, the small seating in the public market is quite cute and there was plenty of seating near the fountain. My drink was, unfortunately, just OK. It was a typical iced latte. It was slightly sweet and had no pistachio flavor at all. I'm guessing it was made with a simple pistachio syrup, and no real pistachio. I was a bit disappointed. If I were shopping in Old Town, I might stop in Coffee Culture for a quick coffee to go, but I would't order anything too fancy.
